|11/21/2018 - 2:15pm||I don't think the outcome of…||
I don't think the outcome of Saturday's game has much, if anything, to do with Harrison's ultimate destination. Nor should it.
|11/17/2018 - 8:41pm||Anything out there on…||
Anything out there on Solomon?
|11/07/2018 - 6:18pm||I think they are only sort…||
I think they are only sort of back. My total seems to be moving for the first time in forever, but I still can't vote. Baby steps...

Testing 1, 2, 3. Testing.

|11/04/2018 - 12:58am||So Harbaugh is a "good"…||
So Harbaugh is a "good" coach?
Ok. At some point in the next few years, everyone who follows Michigan football is finally going to realize that we have one of the best coaches in the game. And the list will be very short.
|11/03/2018 - 9:10pm||Based on what?||
Based on what?
|11/03/2018 - 9:09pm||Peters has not been passed…||
Peters has not been passed by Milton.
|10/30/2018 - 2:02pm||As others have said, we may…||
As others have said, we may see some struggles, particularly on the offensive end through the first half of the season. I think we could compete for the B1G on the strength of the defense and JB's ability to get his teams primed for the stretch run, but I think we are still a year away from being an elite team.
I don't want to discount our chances to have a great season, but when you look at that roster and realize that we most likely only lose Matthews next year...holy crap.
|10/24/2018 - 8:29pm||Just for clarity, the quote…||
Just for clarity, the quote from Crouch in the OP was from an interview he did last week:
He visited Clemson (unofficially) over the weekend and Wiltfong said afterward that he thought Clemson made a move and is probably in the driver's at the moment. Obviously Michigan still has a great chance, with his official visit to AA still to come (where we typically knock it out of the park), but wanted to add some context to the timing of events cited in the original post.
Also worth noting, he hasn't used his official to Clemson yet.
Really hope we can land this kid.
|10/22/2018 - 12:54pm||If I could upvote this 1000…||
If I could upvote this 1000 times, I would. Actually, if I could upvote it just once, that would be nice, but I have no voting ability since the update.
But seriously, this has been discussed ad nauseam.
Nobody here knows the answer. It's all just speculation, much of which tends to question Gary's character, motivation, impact and/or commitment to the team.
To date, he has been everything we should want in a Michigan player. Can we just let this play out before making any assertions or judgments?
|10/20/2018 - 11:45am||And if Gary suits up against…||
And if Gary suits up against Penn State in two weeks, you'll be just another internet know-it-all making a definitive statement about something you actually know nothing about. At a kid's expense. But will there be any mea culpa, an apology of any kind, or just another shameless bs post the next time there is something to be absolutely "sure" about?
My money is on the latter.
|10/19/2018 - 1:09pm||Just checking in again to…||
Just checking in again to say: (i) still no way to vote, and (ii) still no change in points. I know I'm not alone.
Archaic as it was, I really miss the old site. Sure, it looked really dated, went down too often and had it's own bugs, but coming on here every day and having to look at features that I no longer have access to is extraordinarily frustrating.
|10/19/2018 - 1:01pm||This is what Crouch is…||
This is what Crouch is quoted as saying in that TigerNet article:
"I would say Michigan is number one, but the weather is crazy. I feel like Michigan and Clemson are tied for number one."
This kid is unusually focused on the weather. Either that or he is just more transparent about it than most recruits. I think the bigger thing here is that Michigan needs to keep winning. Weather won't mean a thing if we end up in the CFP this year.
|10/18/2018 - 12:07am||Just counting the numbers…||
Just counting the numbers isn't a fair assessment of the depth at LB. A true freshman is not really where we would want to turn if needed. Losing Singleton will hurt depth in a very real sense. To think otherwise is silly.
I agree that we'll be fine, but it would certainly be preferred to have him here.
|10/10/2018 - 12:38pm||The thing to keep in mind…||
The thing to keep in mind here is that the seat numbers run counterclockwise, in the opposite direction of the section numbers.
So seats 1 and 2 in section 8 are actually next to section 9, not section 7.
|10/05/2018 - 1:15pm||Oh, Woody Wommack at Rivals…||
Oh, Woody Wommack at Rivals said it. I guess it must be true.
|10/05/2018 - 1:14pm||Everything I've read has…||
Everything I've read has Jones targeted for tackle. Michigan is recruiting him to play there.
But go ahead, let's stir up the "sky is falling" mantra if we don't land Keegan or Benhart.
|09/08/2018 - 10:39pm||I'm still in this same boat…||
I'm still in this same boat as well.
Point total stuck on 660 since the upgrade, can't see any way to vote and and can't see the vote totals on individual posts.
|08/06/2018 - 9:25am||I posted about this same…||
I posted about this same issue separately, but in response to the above post from humanelement:
The up-vote/down-vote options do not appear at all for me. My point total does not change. It has been stuck at 460 for weeks. Reloading makes no difference.
|08/06/2018 - 9:19am||Still can't upvote/downvote,…||
Still can't upvote/downvote and my own (meager) point total appears to be stuck in the sand.
I have the same issues on all browsers and platforms.
It's starting to feel like this may never change. Sad face.
|08/06/2018 - 9:13am||Assuming you meant to say…||
Assuming you meant to say MSU and not Michigan.
And I'm not so sure about this being 4D chess. The OSU response to this is not that complicated.

Well done. Will somebody please upvote this gentlemen for me?
The blog upgrade hath taken my powers away.

Fair enough. My apologies.
|07/30/2018 - 2:47pm||So you're calling the first…||
So you're calling the first argument dumb (not saying I disagree) and then follow that up by stating as "fact", our perceived positions with Keegan and Benhart? Uh, ok.
The fact is we don't actually know. We can make assumptions based on the opinions of people connected to the program, people connected to the recruit or other "insiders", but none of it is fact until a commitment occurs. Recruiting is fluid. Perhaps we were in the best shape with Keegan on Friday, but today it's actually Benhart.

Same here. Can't up/down vote. Can't do it on Chrome, Firefox or my mobile device.

Or maybe not until you've received a certain number of points under the new system? Just a theory. Either way, I still can't see them.

Me too. I've asked before, but anyone have any insight into this? Is there a new point threshold for voting privileges?
|07/01/2018 - 12:10am||I was afraid to ask as well,…||
I was afraid to ask as well, but it seems that I may not be the only one who doesn't have the ability to vote (thumbs up/down). Is that still a part of the board?
|06/24/2018 - 11:06pm||Whatever dude.||
|06/24/2018 - 11:05pm||So we got our top RB target,…||
So we got our top RB target, our top DT target and our 2nd or 3rd highest target at TE all in one day? But I thought our recruiting sucked and we were never going to land another 4-star again?
I'm so confused.
|06/22/2018 - 12:12pm||You are such an asshole, it…||
You are such an asshole, it's ridiculous. Can you please just go away? You bring absolutely nothing but negativity to the board.
The absolute worst kind of fan.
|05/07/2018 - 12:45pm||DJ Carton||
Any thoughts on DJ Carton, who I think the staff is also high on?
|05/02/2018 - 5:43pm||He sits at 6th all-time in hits.||
Sixth. All-time. And in fewer seasons than anyone else in the top 16.
This alone qualifies him for the Hall of Fame.
As to the other stuff - the "intangibles" - I suppose it can be debated how much they contributed to the 5 championships, but as a Yankee fan, I appreciated that he played hard every day, never made excuses and carried himself with class throughout his career.
|04/27/2018 - 1:52am||What games have you been watching||
What games have you been watching my man?
Bredeson has not done anything yet that would suggest he will come out early next year and certainly not to be drafted in the first two rounds.
|04/27/2018 - 1:47am||What games have you be||
have you been watching my man?
|04/26/2018 - 2:04am||Forgiveness is powerful,||
Forgiveness is powerful, but I'm not sure that's what this is about. As already pointed out, it could just as easily be a way for Dantonio to get him back on the team without shouldering the blame.
What exactly does it mean to "let the team decide"? Do they take a vote? Does it have to be unanimous? Will some players feel pressured to go with the majority despite their personal feelings?
I'm sorry, but it smells like bullshit to me. The coach needs to take the responsibilty to lead on this.
|03/30/2018 - 2:24pm||After reading some of the comments here,||
After reading some of the comments here, I was expecting to get fired up by the article, I actually thought it was a pretty good piece. Seems like some folks here are being overly defensive about a perceived slight against Michigan. I didn't really see it that way. I also didn't think he was necessarily claiming academic superiority to "big-money" schools, but rather his appreciation for the smaller role that athletics play at (his) smaller school. Thought it was a mostly fair criticism of the NCAA in general.
|03/25/2018 - 12:35am||Can't...stop...||
reading threads about that game.
|02/26/2018 - 1:47am||This nails it in my opinion.||
This nails it in my opinion. I'm actually a fan of the Islay style, but for a nice, well balanced introduction to good single malt Scotch, Oban is my favorite. Springbank is solid as well.
|01/15/2018 - 9:23pm||Long time||
It feels like a it's been a long time since we came out on top in a game like this. Feels good.
|01/12/2018 - 7:36pm||It's been stated by insiders||
It's been stated by insiders on other boards that Partridge already has a DC offer on the table and he's still deciding between staying or taking it.
|01/12/2018 - 7:33pm||Yeah, I'm sure he conned Jim||
Yeah, I'm sure he conned Jim into giving him a job. Probably knows nothing about football.
|12/29/2017 - 2:07am||And what makes you think the||
And what makes you think the coaches don't also believe he has a lot of talent?
Can we stop with the bullshit speculation in this thread?
|12/29/2017 - 2:03am||The writing is on the wall?||
The writing is on the wall? Are you serious?
|12/14/2017 - 3:05am||We're pushing hard for him.||
We're pushing hard for him. It's between us and ND. I think we get him.
|12/01/2017 - 11:15pm||I'm not going to dismiss any||
I'm not going to dismiss any of these concerns, but I think it's fair to say that the coaches are aware of all these factors and are in a much better position to gauge the level of risk each one brings. If they think Patterson would make the team better, even with the obvious issues it presents, then I'm in.
|11/20/2017 - 3:16pm||Except that||
Except that Michigan can lose the game and the OP still loses his money if Michigan covers. So not sure this argument makes any sense.
