He also says early minutes are of utmost importance. He's not going to Michigan. He'll go somewhere they don't have a guard who's the designated starter. Or hell go somewhere they'll lie to get him. Probably OSU.

02/08/2019 - 3:33pm He's crapping on him for…

He's crapping on him for Hokian level roster management. That's how I read it. Because that was all he addressed. None of the side issues for kicking the guy off the team in the first place. Only the roster management.

Unless he's changed his comment, you are WAY out of line here. His comment is football oriented, that he just kicked one of the qb's with experience off the team and hasn't recruited one for two years. That's it. I didn't see anything crapping on him for kicking Francois of the team.

02/07/2019 - 11:02am I would say people who play…

I would say people who play against him need to try to come down with feet spread. That was they come down on his knee, perhaps, and don't roll their ankle on his foot.

The hell he is talking about is that there is no room for late fliers.

Links? Data? Proof?

It's converted with an enzyme. It's a carbohydrate, not a petroleum derivative. Sugar is sucrose and fructose. Fructose isn't killing people. Ingesting 12000 calories a day of packaged junk food is killing them. As far as making it into alcohol, the point is that the sugar is gone. And yes, being an alcoholic will give you cirrhosis and kill you.

Did you also know water can kill you if you drink too much? Oxygen can kill you if you breath too much of it. It can make babies blind. Overdoing things can kill you.

I'm good with multiple kickers on scholarship if it guarantees consistently good kicking

Someone needs to tweet and tell Rob Cassidy Michigan is NOT Big Blue.

01/18/2019 - 6:43am Everyone specifically talked…

Everyone specifically talked about 17 being a rebuilding year because of the young receivers, questions about qb, and the OL. You're being a troll. Brian write last off season that the team would go as far as the offense of line would take them. It was obvious that the offensive line could not take them very far this past year.

01/16/2019 - 9:28am No.

No.

My only issue with using corn starch is if you like thick gravy, it's hard to get it to turn back into a liquid after it's been refrigerated. I used to use corn starch and have switched to flour.

An alternative to corn starch is arrowroot powder. I used this for batters which call for corn starch. Gravy made with arrowroot does not congeal quite so badly.

01/16/2019 - 9:23am Yes.

As people point out…

Yes.

As people point out below make a very thin paste out of the flour. Make sure your paste is free of lumps before adding. Add slowly and stir/whisk vigorously.

I have a whisk I use particularly for gravy. It might be a sauce whisk. A little one without many loops. I use the large whisk for eggs and cream.

I'll chime in.

I use the juice from whatever I cook, try to strain some of the fat off, add some Tone's Beef Base, and flour to thicken.

I've had compliments.

I  hate jar gravy.

01/15/2019 - 9:40am I'm fan of the team and…

I'm fan of the team and think the OL definitely made progress under Warriner and all... but I think they've got a LONG way to go until they're great. Not to disparage the guys who stuck out all the shitty coaching and development from Drevno and then the Drevno/Frey disaster, but they're just starting to get better. It's going to take a new set of guys who have the ability and coaching from day 1 to have a great line. Not a few upper classmen who finally get good coaching in year 4.

No. This is stupid. Hackett has other things to do. He's moved on. You should too.

Seeing as though the average agree is probably 21 and they're already involved in a European tour, I'd say they're doing something right. Wait 5 years and see where they are. Considering Rock is not main stream anymore.

WTF dude?

Damn your logic and lack of cherry picked stats showing a larger sample size and discussing contributing factors. This guy is trying to have a shit hemorrhage and youre ruining it by bringing a better argument.

01/03/2019 - 9:11am You think Michigan's OL was…

You think Michigan's OL was a dominant and amazing force on the field which made the offense awesome? Or do you maybe think Higdon was pretty good?

01/01/2019 - 7:20pm I don't remember seeing the…

I don't remember seeing the coaches fighting on the sidelines or walking away from each other or press conferences. What's yoiur proof that the coaches gave up on the game plan? Other than anecdotal "I'm depressed" stuff.

01/01/2019 - 7:10pm A lot of this. Michigan's…

A lot of this. Michigan's offense doesn't give stats to anyone but the running back. And they use 5 of them. So one RB doesn't have the carries to get the eyepopping numbers.

Add in the fact that Michigan's OL has been a disaster for a decade and you're not going to have an awesome offense.
As for OSU and the bowl game, add in the fact that Solomon left, Gary was hurt, Bush was hurt, Winovich was hurt... With the best part of the front 7 on defense not being healthy, you're not going to dominate a team with good offensive lines.

12/29/2018 - 4:18pm I would agree with much of…

I would agree with much of this. I do think the primary problem is that there is simply not enough team speed in the back 7. I think they're trying to change this. It seemed to me that CB recruiting this year was more focsed on speed than size like it obvioiusly was in previous seasons and obviously Bush is the type of LB they're looking for. Also, Brown's MO has been SPEED off the edges and in the middle. There just isn't much there at this point. I think this is a large part of why the slants keep working against this team. The problem is that these are not things you change in one offseason.

12/29/2018 - 4:07pm They definitely didn't get…

They definitely didn't get any push today. They were completely handled by Florida's defense. The problem is the lack of available talent ready to step up and play. Maybe next year after another offseason of weight gain and technique training we'll see some improvement, but year one with a new OL coach isn't enough. The problem is that recruiting was terrible under the end of Hoke and with Drevno. There just weren't enough players who were going to be both good and ready this year.

Maybe it was because his team consistently got hammered with penalties when he had outbursts on the sideline?

12/29/2018 - 4:00pm This is unfortunately true…

This is unfortunately true. If Shea didn't underthrow the majority of his throws, things would probably work quite a bit better.

12/29/2018 - 3:57pm Plot - same tired game plan…

Plot - same tired game plan as all the other losses in Harbaugh's tenure. Or worse.  Run the ball until down, can't throw the ball well because the QB isn't used to throwing the damn thing.

Bigger picture - enduring mediocrity because need to rely on defense to win games without speed enough to play against spread teams because the offense is completely inept and coaches don't use fast/spread types to play fast/spread the field and try to score points.

The only offseason question is going to be if Jim realizes that he needs to do a better job of competing on offense or not. My guess is NO.

I'm going to say more road games are played than home games, early in the season. With neutral site games.

And be able to cheat continuously without repercussions. And astounding talent disparity.

12/08/2018 - 11:22am They need to be able to…

They need to be able to finish. Period. They couldn't finish drives against Indiana this year. That's not debatable. I know Brian likes to say there is no red zone offense, it's all just offense. But looking at Michigan's yards not equaling points because they stalled in the red zone on a regular basis this year, I think it says something about the plays they were running or about the way the entire offense was designed.

Yes, yards show an offense is capable. But yards are still not points and I wouldn't be suprised if detailed analysis of michigan's stalled drives show some similarities particularly taken against the way the team got to the red zone.

As someone who lived in AA and Cinci, calling Cinci a bad city is ridiculous. It's a great city to live in. Maybe not a patch on AA as a college town...b because it's not. It's a very metropolitan city which is awesome as a single adult or married with kids. But it is not a college town. It's 2+ million people. Ann Arbor is like 200k, unless you want to count the entire county.

I watched that Auburn Georgia game. Anyone who thinks one of them was a Top 10 and the other a Top 25 team after that game needs to be investigated for conflict of interest. Auburn's qb couldn't hit open receivers all game and Georgia got lucky he was so terrible. Was not impressed with either.

11/12/2018 - 7:32am My take away on timing is…

My take away on timing is the number of late games as away games. it shows that more other teams think that Michigan is their rival or is a big game for them as opposed to Michigan. Who thinks that other teams are just teams.
