One week left but already qualified.

QB - Rivers/Cousins

RB - Brieda, McCaffery, Cohen

WR - AJ Green, Calvin Ridley, DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Donte Moncrief, Mo Sanu, DJ Moore (Sanu and Jackson are the only ones that I've had all season)

TE - Olsen (had Vance MacDonald when he was injured)

K - Tucker

D/ST - Vikings

I originally had Bell but someone offered Green and Brieda for him a few weeks into the season and I took it. I've been trying to find a decently consistent wideout to no luck, but my RBs, especially Hunt, have carried me through the season. I'm considering dropping Cousins for Josh Allen, especially given recent performance.

I'll go with a France-England final, with France winning 3-1. Lloris lifts the cup and then translates that into a Premier League winning season for Spurs.

Alternatively, football's coming home.

The Wings lucked into insane value in this first round and now have a shot at a few pretty good defensemen in the next 5 picks. If everything turns out well, this could be a major turning point for the direction of the franchise.

05/31/2018 - 12:04pm Poch won't leave for now

He just signed a new contract and Spurs sources are saying that he doesn't have an out clause if RM do come with an offer. Maybe if this was a few years down the line, sure, but definitely not right now.

12/12/2017 - 12:06pm I've been debating getting

I've been debating getting Bowl Bound College Football for a while, but the Steam reviews have been holding me back on it. It seems like it would be a good substitute for the NCAA games, especially since it seems similar to Football Manager and Eastside Hockey Manager. I'm not sure if what I'm finding is the same game you're talking about, but it's on sale for around $10 right now until the 18th.

Booing your own team should be taboo in itself, unless something happened that intentionally harmed another player (Lewan facemask pull, Todd Bertuzzi, etc.). For a somewhat poor performance, where Michigan was still winning? Get out of here.

08/03/2017 - 12:06pm I was there live for The

I was there live for The Horror and Oregon 2007. Seeing how they dominated us in contrast to my hazy memories of the year before was sobering. After that, it has to be Minnesota 2014 or any Hoke game at MSU, for varying levels of incompetence exhibited before, during, or after the games.

For non-Michigan related moments, it's the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals. Malkin should've been suspended, the back to back in the Finals was asinine, and fuck Bettman in general. The 2012 series loss to Nashville and 2013 series loss to Chicago are pretty high up too.

05/28/2017 - 4:20pm Gutted for Alonso, Honda

Gutted for Alonso, Honda engines have given him trouble ever since he joined McLaren again. However, I'm incredibly happy with both Takuma winning as another (former) F1 driver and Ferrari's 1-2 in Monaco. Onto the Coca Cola 600!

I absolutely hate how Arsenal drew two straight non-league sides in the FA Cup. Here's hoping Spurs don't get too banged up against Millwall.

03/01/2017 - 1:23am I have no idea how we got any

I have no idea how we got any value from Steve Ott. I guess NHL GMs value grit, toughness, and an above average ability to win faceoffs a lot.

I wish that he was still a productive player, since we were his childhood team, but he's simply not that good anymore.

Spurs look absolutely dominant so far.

That would be amazing, especially for when Spurs inevitably disappoint me.

02/16/2017 - 12:52am It's always a great feeling

It's always a great feeling to see them struggle. Hopefully Spurs actually do well in the Europa League though.

01/26/2017 - 1:37am The management of this team

The management of this team is not adapted for the modern NHL. Overrating role players like Abdelkader, Miller, Ott, Helm, and Glendening has sunk this team for years to come. Three of those players are signed until the end of the 2021 season for a combined cap hit of 9.9 million. Three mediocre defensemen are signed for at least two more years for a cap hit of 14 million (Kronwall, Ericsson, and DeKeyser). In addition to this, Howard is signed for two more years for 5.29 million per year. At most, one of these contracts will come off the books from the Expansion Draft. However, with the 7 F/3 D/1 G protection strategy, Abdelkader, DeKeyser, Kronwall, Helm, and Glendening will be protected over better players such as Athanasiou and Mantha because it's a "Man's Leauge."

01/26/2017 - 1:28am The major trade that has

The major trade that has probably killed us more than the ones you mentioned was the Legwand trade. Calle Jarnkrok, Patrick Eaves, and what turned out to be a second round pick (#46). All of that for a forward who didn't do anything in about a 1/3rd of the season and ended the playoffs on the fourth line. Jarnkrok has played 215 NHL games to date and Patrick Eaves would be our leading goal scorer. That trade was the begining of the end.

07/19/2016 - 2:23am Wayne State - It's where I'm

Wayne State - It's where I'm currently attending school for my undergrad, but I still have hopes to transfer to U-M. The student section is depressingly empty most game days, but it's to be expected for a commmuter school.

Miami (NTM) - My sister's alma mater, always fun to check in on them.

Arizona - I was a massive proponent of Rich Rod's system here, so I keep on hoping for his success wherever he goes.

05/09/2016 - 2:53pm Yeah, I didn't think that

Yeah, I didn't think that last statement through. I just finished my first year of undergrad there and came away more impressed than I thought I would be. The best part about WSU is the massive scholarships that they give to the honors college.

05/09/2016 - 12:04pm I still am in support of the

I still am in support of the RR hire and still feel that Hoke was the worst mistake for Michigan since 2000.

Hockey is a far superior sport to football, especially at the professional level.

The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones look completely unappealing.

Some fraternities undeservedly get a bad reputation based on what many people think fraternities stand for.

Foreign car manufacturers produce far superior cars than the big three.

Wayne State is a top 5 school in Michigan.

Yeah, apparently there was a start up for the club hockey here in 2013, but there isn't any hockey listed under club sports.

I'm all for letting Wayne State playing, the only problem is that WSU doesn't even have a club team anymore.

01/28/2016 - 4:44pm If someone said that a good

If someone said that a good portion of NHL fans would actually like John Scott before the season, they would be considered crazy. His repuation before this year was that he was a goon, a talentless player who was only good at mauling people. I'm glad that Scott did take the entire thing in stride, eventually embracing the campaign for his All Star nomination. Aside from being an emotional story, his retelling of his college days was incredible. I'm just hoping that he gets a few goals this weekend.

04/10/2015 - 11:47am Jurco, Nyquist, and Tatar

It's not so much that teams are figuring them out as much as they're stickhandling too much. Tatar and Nyquist have almost thirty goals each, with each of them getting at least one in the past few games. Jurco, on the other hand, is just unlucky at this point. He's been injured these past few weeks and has a shooting percentage of 3.3, which is good for 605th in the NHL.
