So they can keep getting called for looking at PSU players the wrong way?

If you toss Beilein you should be fired at halftime and replaced.  Seriously though Michigan is getting physically mauled when Brooks or Z split defenders they are getting almost spun around.  And then Iggy gets called for passing by a shooter too passively I guess?  If Michigan maintains their one seed claim they will have earned it by consistently beating teams and officiating.  It’s so inconsistent this year.

01/23/2019 - 10:05pm I think you’re…

I think you’re underestimating the Glass Badgers.  They draw offensive fouls like no other.  And since Tennessee basketball is a bunch of linebackers that can shoot...Wisconsin would be their keyptonite.

This was bad.  Williams was just jumping into people that were set with arms straight up and they were giving it to him.  Also, he dropped his arm over a dude and they called the Vandy player for the hook and hold.

I wouldn’t call it attacking Ace.  He said if the fan base could raise $100k for a fatigued blogger surely they could do x.  I think he was referencing bagmen...tacky and classless either way.

That would be a strange way for d coordinator Holt to get back to USC.  He was there with Pete Carrol and left for Washington with Sarkisian.

Agreed, I was just caught off guard by the insider saying he had decommitted.  I wanted to see if it just hadn’t made it to the board yet.

Is he though?  Maybe they can hire (rehire) Schiano away from tOSU, the way that defense just played he may be looking for a job.  He had them...competitive?... in the ACC

In his defense there were, what, 75 minutes where we were sitting in a locker room instead of on the field.

I’m still salty he left WKU.  Here’s how WKU lost tonight: at the end of regulation ODU gets called for roughing the passer. On the untimed down WKU goes for the field goal, the kick is short and returned to the WKU side of the field...WKU gets called for unnecessary roughness so ODU gets an untimed down.  Kicks the field goal and wins...

Fun fact: I bought a heat pump from them in 2016, got it installed in 2017, and got a five year protection agreement.  1 year and a couple months later it stops working, they’re telling me o bought it in 09 before I owned a house, and that there are no records of it.

Our “discussions” have been going since May of this year.

Also expect chippy play.  Think Lewan v Gholston...

10/14/2018 - 6:13pm Define badly on the road…

Define badly on the road please.  We had 1.5 bad quarters against Notre Dame where we lost all the 50/50 plays, after that they executed it was just too little too late.

The offense came out slow on the road against Northwestern, who beat state on the road by double digits.  But Michigan still won that game.

The ability of this team to rally and refocus is more important than what it looked like in either of those games.

I’m going to need Brian to keep saying things like “There’s no way we beat Wisconsin by double digits.”  And other we’re going to win but not emphatically comments on radio shows.

But somehow they’ve always got that special we’re playing Michigan gear recently anyway.

09/24/2018 - 12:50pm That’s true.  But think…

That’s true.  But think about how the plays work.  Defense fights to the ball in the backfield, then chases the ball down the field.  Unless there’s a convoy you’re talking about the legs of one or two offensive players and the entire defense chasing them.  Those two offensive players rotate out but most of the defensive guys that ran the ball carrier down have to stay in.

That’s why you’ll see o-linemen trot up to the line take a couple deep breaths then get into position and d-linemen put their hands on their hips tilt their heads back to get more air and then get set almost at the last second.

You mean Jordan Glasgow...khaleke is having some staying on the field issues.  Not entirely his fault.

Where’s the respekt?!  This comment probably just made the MSU motivation wall.

That was Devin Bush I believe.  He dove for the punters legs just as the punter slip/flipped and ended up hitting him “above the shoulders”.  “Above the shoulders” just happened to be below his knees.

09/24/2018 - 12:30pm The other part to last year…

The other part to last year is our defense was on the field too long.  Doesn’t matter how good they were if they’re on the field for 3/4 of the game they will run out of gas.

True but I like our offensive weapons against their defense much more than JT and Hornibrook perfection passes against our defense.

Hate that for him, at least he's getting a degree from a great school.  I hope NW continues to honor his scholarship.

This is the front runner?  Man I’m going places.  I have a sample size of two throws.  I just thought it was weird he’s throwing it at the numbers instead of lofting it a little.  Apparently i didn’t do enough to convey my appreciation of the current situation we find ourselves in offensively.

I see both of your points, someone else brought up the corner raking the TE’s arms too.  Hadn’t thought about that scenario.

Nope, just think he has that kind of talent

Given the perception of our offensive line that’s one heck of a take.  I haven’t been able to tell if, as a fan base, we all have an internal clock ticking and it just feels like forever or he just has a reasonable amount of time to make reads.

09/17/2018 - 12:59pm Sure I’m one of those fans. …

Sure I’m one of those fans.  I definitely wasn’t appreciative of the fact that I have a sample size of two throws to base this NITPICKING take on.  Shea is ridiculously talented, it’s more aggravating that he wasn’t offered in the first place.  It’s just something I noticed and wanted to see if I was alone on.  Based on the responses, yes I’m very much alone on this one.

09/17/2018 - 12:54pm Not what I said.  I said our…

Not what I said.  I said our tight ends are giants and I alluded to the fact that Shea can pretty much put the ball wherever he wants because he’s ridiculously talented.  The interception against SMU he threw it to the numbers of McKeon.  If McKeon comes back at a better angle this doesn’t happen, if Shea throws it where only McKeon can go up and get it this doesn’t happen.

The same situation happened late against Notre Dame, that was frustrating to watch but probably doesn’t change the outcome and I don’t think that one was picked off.

I’m simply saying Shea is easily talented enough to place the ball where only our tree people sized tight ends can get the ball.

09/17/2018 - 10:12am Like I said, nitpicking. …

Like I said, nitpicking.  Just something I noticed on a couple throws to McKeon specifically in the Notre Dame and SMU games.  He places the ball so well 90% of the time it was just weird to see him throw it right at McKeon’s numbers instead of up.  McKeon should have fought for it or taken a better angle back to the ball but throwing it up would have helped as well.

09/17/2018 - 10:08am I really was just making an…

I really was just making an observation about something I just happened to notice, specifically when Patterson throws to McKeon.

I’ll relegate myself back to the shadows before I get the troll label.
