Been hitting Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon a lot lately. Lake Street Dive, and this British guy called Rømans (this track Uh Huh), and The Neighborhood - Sweater Weather, Mayer Hawthorne (A2 guy) - The Walk are some other frequently played.

Lol I was a sophomore that year and bc of the new seating policy that year got front row seats

02/14/2019 - 7:19pm Yeah, mid February is too…

Yeah, mid February is too late to get a decent asst job, he's better off getting paid buyout money, being an analyst and re-entering during next year's coaching carousel

02/13/2019 - 8:06am Lol it's nuts. I'm in…

Lol it's nuts. I'm in advertising/marketing and have worked with the Lions sponsorship/marketing team in the past, and rest assured they're just as, if not more incompetent than the people in the front office and on the field.

02/10/2019 - 10:18am What does EM mean?

Sounds legit!

Lol split backs formation a few plays ago, nice to see Mike Martz using his same playbook from the 90s

02/08/2019 - 9:52am I understand that argument,…

I understand and respect that argument, but without delving too far into politics, I think there is something to be said for legislative experience, and the ability to get reelected that many times.

Lol Steve Spurrier is coach of Orlando. That should be fun to watch

02/08/2019 - 9:35am Dingell went to Congress…

Dingell went to Congress every day for 60 years to work for his constituents. That kind of service is unmatched.

RIP to a legend. Here is a screenshot of his tweets while watching the tourney game vs Houston when Poole Party happened:

Fun fact this isn't the first time Rocky Long has done this. Back in the day he was Bob Toledo's DC at UCLA in the 90's, and then Long hired Toledo in 2013 to be his OC at SDSU for a couple years.

02/05/2019 - 3:30pm Ehhh I think at this point…

Ehhh I think at this point he should save money on a Bachelor's degree and put it towards the kids. I'm bearish on skilled trades as a career, and especially for him. I'd advise either to ease in with volunteering at non-profit organization or schools to build experience, or to go into sales, but the sales grind would be daunting for someone who's been out of work for a while.

If he's really ready for a challenge, I'd recommend signing up for boot camp style classes for coding/programming/developing. I know several people without coding experience, and a few without even a degree who've parlayed that into a great career making good money. He has to be into it though

Yeah. Rutgers was simply a means to an end. Maryland too, but at least they have an historically competent athletics program

Edit: stupid joke redacted.

Hope Evans is able to stay as every indication is that he's a great kid.

Lol fun fact the first WBB coach was a kines professor at Michigan who only retired as a prof a few years ago

01/27/2019 - 5:01pm To WD's point, KBA just…

To WD's point, KBA just feels like the WBB equivalent of Tommy Amaker, i.e. the 'coach before the coach'. Good enough to stabilize the program, but probably not gonna get you over the top. I could be wrong tho, and I think KBA should get some more to time to find out.

01/26/2019 - 1:16am Lol what's impressive is per…

Lol what's impressive is per that link, Michigan played in Bloomington one time between 1900 and 1958. Played exclusively in Ann Arbor in other years.

01/19/2019 - 4:02pm Tbh I'm already over it…

Tbh I'm already over it. This isn't a terrible loss resume wise and proves to the team they need to get back to work. Love Iggy but this is a good wake up call after his "we want Duke" soundbite. He'll continue to improve and I'm excited for March. Go Blue!

01/19/2019 - 1:57pm This team wasn't gonna go…

This team wasn't gonna go undefeated, and this is a game I feel a lot of us knew would be the first real shot at a loss. Hell of a run though.

01/17/2019 - 11:35am I like Subarus. Never owned…

I like Subarus. Never owned one myself but a lot of my friends have and they last forever. What's great is even their sedans are AWD. My first car was a mid 2000s Toyota RAV4 and it was perfect. Compact SUVs with AWD I think is perfect for a new driver.

Edit to add: I was also looking at a Honda CR-V at the time. I currently work for one of the Big 3 so I'll recuse myself from making a specific recommendation.

01/16/2019 - 4:27pm The dude is nearing…

The dude is nearing retirement and the dl noticeably struggled in big moments. How much of that is on Mattison is up for debate, but I don't think M is any more out of position vs Ohio State in the long run because of this.

01/16/2019 - 4:25pm Agree. Mattison leaving was…

Agree. Mattison leaving was more of an annoyance than a blow to the core.

Not to be *that* guy, but among Nua's likes on Twitter is an article about assistants' pay that features Harbaugh's hiring of Gattis 🤷🏾‍♂️

Would love him too but looks like he will be retained on the Packers new staff

01/13/2019 - 12:52am Also Vinson Reynolds from…

Also Vinson Reynolds from Syracuse and Jeff Phelps from Washington State. Tbh I just looked at team total sacks and looked at teams that performed higher than their record would indicate.

EDIT: Didn't realize ND's Mike Elston played for UM back in the day. He's my new home run lol. Above 2 along with Walter Stewart are my sleepers.

01/12/2019 - 12:24am Jake Moody and Joe Hewlett…

Jake Moody and Joe Hewlett also from Northville. Big Gabe Watson way back in the day was from Novi lol

Those Michigan unis are, as the kids would say: 🔥🙌🏽🤤

01/02/2019 - 11:03am Bit of a self fulfilling…

Bit of a self fulfilling prophecy. They know they're likelier to get quality responses from Chase so they ask deeper questions. With harbaugh they just take what they can get so a lot of journos just throw open random questions and hope something sticks. Notice the lack of "talk about..." In the questions to chase.

12/31/2018 - 12:54pm This is always something…

This is always something that annoyed me earlier in Beilein's tenure, the fans finally understand and respect how great this program is.

12/30/2018 - 5:32pm I'll never forget Lloyd…

I'll never forget Lloyd losing his shit trying to get one second back on the clock late in the 4th quarter off a kickoff vs Penn State in 05. He got it back, and we all know what happened with that 1 second at the end.

12/29/2018 - 3:21pm Shout-out to John Beilein…

Shout-out to John Beilein and the hoops team and for the University and the education it gave me to justify my fandom bc whatever this is ain't it.

12/29/2018 - 3:18pm Shout-out to John Beilein…

The advice given to me was go to the best University that you can both get in to and afford to go to.

12/23/2018 - 11:42pm Even if it was money I don't…

Even if it was about the money, I don't think $12m in NYC goes as far as $7m in A2

12/22/2018 - 10:15pm Grew up in an Indian…

Grew up in an Indian Immigrant/Hindu family. We ripped off a Jewish tradition and order Thai food. The day of and after Christmas we raid the stores trying to find deals on discounted stuff post holiday.

Favorite movies are Home Alone 2, Elf, and heckling Love Actually

12/10/2018 - 9:17pm He left out schools that…

He left out schools that haven't played a true road game yet this year.

12/10/2018 - 1:51pm unless you're in the south…

unless you're in the south your dollar will almost certainly go further in Detroit.

11/25/2018 - 4:04pm Eh all this is hindsight 20…

Eh all this is hindsight 20/20 and armchair type stuff but more from the passing game. Spread it out. 3 receiver looks, more vertical shots as well as shorter West coast routes

11/25/2018 - 3:33pm I interact with a few OSU…

I interact with a few OSU fans and it's crazy how much they dislike Meyer and want him gone. His success against us is his only redeeming quality in their mind. They want Ryan Day to take over full time.

11/25/2018 - 3:09pm TL;DR

We're a solid…

You nailed it. We've had good success with Harbaugh, especially considering the results over the last 20 years. We just need to come to terms with the fact that OSU is having an all time great run the past 20 years or so. Pile on top of that MSU has had their best 10 year run since the 50s-60s (albeit a large part of their success was Michigan being down). Throw in a few successful ND seasons and a flukey PSU B1G title and that's why our success feels hollow.
