|05/08/2018 - 4:29pm||From the books...||
It's from the Hitchhikers Guide books. The answer to the ultimate question, etc. is 42. In a later book the question is revealed to be what do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?..
I never read past the first book, so I'm not sure why it doesn't match up. The series in in my Audio book list. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I've been on Vue for about 4 months and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to fish through all of the stations I never watched anyway, and I get BTN in the middle of SEC conutry.

During the Houston game she jumped in my lap with 3.6 seconds left. Today she jumped in my lap with around 10 minutes left.

Moved a bunch of 50 to 75 lb Rubbermaid totes from the garage to the basement so I can get the Wrangler in there for topless season. (If you want to know what’s in them ask my wife). The damn things multiply like rabbits.
|03/27/2018 - 12:24pm||Draft?||
I believe it will come down to the draft and production. in the NBA. These recruits watch the NBA, and with the crack down on NCAA Basketball from the FBI, I think the landscape will change.
THJ and Burke playing well in NY helps. I don't really follow the NBA so I'm not sure how others are doing, but in my opinion, production at the pro level combinded with high draft numbers and teams not being able to give in$entives to players to come to their university is the only thing that may lead to higher ranked recruits coming to Michigan.
That being said, I have been thrilled with the recruiting and the foundation that has been built. If recruiting scores stay where they are I won't be disappointed.
|03/26/2018 - 9:34pm||On that note..||
I’m Very happy to see hem starting to excel in the NBA. I’m not an NBA fan, but I do pull for former wolverines.

Ah, yes. The aanswer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
|03/16/2018 - 12:15pm||Did you go to UC?||
I went back to school and graduated with an IT degree in 2014. I enjoyed my time on that campus.

Damn.. I'm a big fan of his crackers with a bit of heated marshmellow and chocolate on them.

Curling is this 44 year old man's last, best chance at Olympic glory... I guess that would really require me to learn the sport.

Looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday. Go Blue!
|01/29/2018 - 9:28am||My weekend was stacked with||
My weekend was stacked with housework and other errands so I haven't had a chance to watch any of it. It was a prime weekend to get things done with no MBB game to distract me. I may try to watch it on demand before the game tonight.
|01/28/2018 - 3:12pm||I have to believe that right||
I have to believe that right now they see the eyes of law enforcement, the NCAA and the nation on them, and they won’t risk long term sanctions just to keep coaches that are part of the problem. Am I naive to think that?
|01/27/2018 - 2:45pm||We don’t really know what||
We don’t really know what happens behind the scenes. I keep seeing people say that youthful QBs do fine on other teams. The difference is that our youthful QBs were surrounded by youthful Receivers and a youthful line. Is it not true that Michigan was basically running out a high school team in the college game?

Awesome to see. I was afraid he simply fizzled out in the NBA. Great comeback story.

I have empathy for his struggles in sports fandom.
|01/26/2018 - 6:31am||Unexpected expenses||
Getting estimates in the $10000 range. Heat went out in the house I’m selling in Ohio. All of the boiler pipes froze and burst during the cold snap in December. I live in Georgia so logistics has been a nightmare. Need some positive vibes.
|01/19/2018 - 9:13am||After this week in ATL||
I need some positivity. Sub freezing temperatures, wrecked my car on the ice because southerners don’t know how to drive in winter weather. Threats to kick me out of Georgia and to take my damn weather with me.
|01/15/2018 - 12:51pm||Agreed.||
This is probably because he runs a clean program and isn't purpble faced while screaming at the refs and playthers throughout the games.

For all the bickering I’ve seen over the years on this site, I’ve never seen a more generous group of readers. Whenever a call goes out for raising funds this group seems to double or triple a the goal every time.

I was disappointed when he fell from the league. I will always remember the buzzer beater vs Kansas in the tourney. It ranks up there with some of my best football memories.

|01/10/2018 - 12:40pm||Mitch McGary?||
He had that elite "giant" size that Michigan has rarely had on the team. He was listed at 6'10" (245lbs) in the title game.
|01/10/2018 - 12:29pm||It's most likely B. The only||
It's most likely B. The only time that it is noticable in my febal brain is when watching with fans of the other team. I lived in Ohio for many years and can't think of any examples of OSU fan friends complaining. Back in the 90's I was watching Michigan against Wisconson with a Wisky grad, and there was a fumble by Michigan that was ruled down. This was before replay though.
As I recall the game was close and could have been the difference in the game.

I've been reading and a member of the site for many years, but rarely posted anything to the board. Rumor has it that to gain points around here you need to get involved in the POSBANG threads.
Here's to a cold weekend (even here in Atlanta) without any of the football related heartburn!

Needed something good in Michigan news. Good sports feelings have been rare in these parts lately.
|01/02/2018 - 3:12pm||While I agree with your||
While I agree with your statement, isn't it true that the examples that you gave are surrounded by (mostly) upper classmen in the other starting roles on their respective teams? I wasn't just talking about the QB position. does youth on the O-line, youth in the receiving corp, youth under center, etc play a roll in the calls that can be run in a game?
Again, I'm not a coach, and I don't dive too deep deep into the strategies involved in the game, I am blown away by the response to this season, a season that many if not most agreed would be a rebuildning year prior to the first game.
|01/02/2018 - 12:51pm||Just an honest question since||
Just an honest question since I'm not a coach and have never had to develop a playbook. Could the play calling this year be directly related to the youth of the team? Is it possible that with so many first year players that the plays that were called were what the young players could handle at this point in their careers?
I just remember some pretty awesome plays during Harbaugh's stint at Stanford. If memory serves me, I even remember a deep pass to Andrew Luck in a big game that caught everyone off guard.
|01/02/2018 - 11:50am||Questions Answered Maybe?||
I've never watched this type of show. I know the NFL does something similar in the preseason. If it shows a lot of practice footage I'm wondering if this show may give some insight into the choice of O'Korn over Peters after the Speight injury.
Is this a case where O'Korn's practice stats did not translate to Saturday games? Could this show shed some light on where Michigan really is as a team?
I may watch just to find out.
|12/19/2017 - 8:58pm||Van||
I think the ultimate M memorabilia was a tailgating van that was found in a junkyard a few years back. If I remember correctly it had around 100 autographs.
