Yeah - I think they did a good job on the original recordings so that helped but the 5.1 remixes of their Eddy Offord stuff is really solid and they also included a lot of “work-in-progress” versions of songs that were really interesting (to me).

01/10/2019 - 11:14pm It was sort of a tongue in…

It was sort of a tongue in cheek comment because it is largely irrelevant to our results on the field.  But I've been two 2 Rose Bowls and thought having about 35% of the stadium when we played USC and Washington State was not bad given distance.  I also saw a Hall of Fame bowl game against Alabama (long time ago but my memory was we had maybe 40% of the stadium) and this years Peach Bowl in Atlanta where we had ~ 35% of the stadium.  Again, given the distance and that those numbers are maybe 20,000 - 35,000 fans depending on capacity and attendance assumptions I don't think that is really that bad.

His primary recruiters during the 2017 cycle were... Alabama: Jeremy Pruitt, Georgia: Kevin Sherrer, Tracy Rocker, Florida State: Charles Kelly, Florida: Chris Rumph. Those guys are now each on Tennessee’s defensive staff.

Correct - prior to the 85 scholarship limit you had Michigan/Ohio State; Nebraska/Oklahoma; USC/maybe UW or UCLA....a much greater concentration of talent because lots of guys went to schools and sat on the bench at say Michigan rather than start at Iowa.  Ultimately the limit creates more balanced distribution of talent.

^ agreed.   I think the day-long meetings before they announced his suspension were getting the departure timed/sorted out.  I also think it explains why Shelley Meyer was crying so hard after OSU hammered us 10 days ago - she knew then it was their last game in Ohio Stadium.  The Day replacement was something they sorted out as the season unfolded imho.  Whatevs - on to the next story.

Ben McDaniels?!  Isn't he our offensive analyst.  Maybe our former WR coach was contractually obligated to leave if we played UF again.  Coincidence?  Hardly!

I guess it depends on your budget.   You have a good start to some ideas - mine would include:

- authentic helmet

- authentic jersey with his name on the back and customized to a jersey # that might mean something (maybe his graduation year)

- tickets to a big game

- get him into the annual trip Coach Harbaugh takes to South America to volunteer (I think it's Peru but I could be wrong)

- signed jersey from his favorite player (eBay is the best bet here)

- there are a million books about UM football

- framed picture of the stadium

- get a brick engraved with his name inside the stadium plaza (I'm assuming this is still possible)

hopefully that hat is useful - also coincidentally my dad was a West Point alum so thank you for your service to and sacrifice for our country.  Looking forward to a victory over Navy...

12/01/2018 - 7:08am Dana Carvey has done a…

Dana Carvey has done a pretty well known impression of GHWB - and that ended up with Carvey meeting the President.  According to Carvey, while they were meeting GHWB had Carvey do his impersonation to summon the secret service into the room (door open/around the corner kind of thing) to see if it could fool them.  Carvey did it, and the secret service did in fact come in the room which GHWB thought was the funniest thing in the world.
