Maybe Harbaugh is sending him Brandon Peters or Joe Milton since McCaffery and McNamara are QBs of future at UM

02/06/2019 - 10:09pm I have a feeling we are…

I have a feeling we are going to look back and wonder why Michigan let him get away similar to AJ Dillion

02/02/2019 - 3:07pm This type of behavior is not…

This type of behavior is not exclusive to football players. If the kids you know noticed all of this maybe they weren't as focused as they wanted to players to be either. Lastly I sat for an hour starring at a midterm and walked out not answering a single question. Things happen,

01/27/2019 - 9:31pm One of the walkons made it…

One of the walkons made it seem like they will be on scholarship next season as well.

01/26/2019 - 3:22pm And this is why hes playing…

And this is why hes playing at Senior Bowl and didnt play Peach Bowl. He's showing stuff there that Michigan didn't ask him to do during his career at Michigan

01/16/2019 - 11:04am If Pep were in a new role…

If Pep were in a new role next year, who coaches the QBs? Does Gattis coach QBs and Daniels become the WR coach? I know Gattis has a history as a WR coach so just wondering.

01/14/2019 - 5:39pm That's true. Either way we…

That's true. Either way we are going to need a QB coach and he works well with them. Not sure if his contract could be reworked to reflect his current role.

01/14/2019 - 4:24pm Pep is the QB coach. If…

Pep is the QB coach. If Harbaugh is trying to be more CEO type then he's not going to take on being the primary on coaching QBs.If Pep stays, he will most likely no longer be the passing game coordinator and just be the AHC/QB coach.

01/10/2019 - 4:52pm According to Dan Murphy by…

According to Dan Murphy by way of The Athletic, he will be a co-offensive  coordinator here as well. That would interesting to leave Bama to come to UM for same role especially when you probably would have been sole coordinator at Maryland.

01/10/2019 - 4:37pm So what will happen with the…

So what will happen with the Ben McDaniels guy who served as WR coach for bowl game. Didn't Harbaugh day he wanted to make that permanent?

01/09/2019 - 8:56pm Thats funny since the…

Thats funny since the Michigan set is probably worse.

01/09/2019 - 8:49pm I thought Stanford didn't…

I thought Stanford didn't offer kids or accept commits until players were admitted to the school.

01/01/2019 - 4:19pm "opportunity to shine. Not…

"opportunity to shine. Not so on the offensive side of the ball. That has to change. The coaches know it needs to change. Some players are restless about it. So how does it change? Is the panic-mode tendency Pep or Harbaugh? There was some hope it would die with Drevno,"

The tweet is pretty telling. Harbaugh says all the time that buck stops with him yet the fan base like to blame is coordinators on the offensive side. Well if people thought it was gonna change once Drevno left, the only constant in the situation is Harbaugh. So this is another piece of evidence (first piece is from Harbaugh himself) that his philosophy is not changing and the coordinator doesnt matter.

01/01/2019 - 4:03pm The rule is 3 years removed…

The rule is 3 years removed from high school so it wouldn't matter if a player only really played 2 years. According to rule they would eligible after their third year in school.

Lastly Bosa had a documented injury so he's a different case. Clowney would have been the true test case had he decided not play his junior year like some speculated

01/01/2019 - 11:14am But he coordinates the…

But he coordinates the special teams so he's not just a position coach. The idea that he can't be a DC here because he doesn't have much experience is how you end up with retread NFl/college coaches needing a landing spot for a year before moving along.

12/31/2018 - 11:17pm Warinner is not the run game…

Warinner is not the run game coordinator. He's the just oline coach

12/31/2018 - 5:35pm Working hard is great but if…

Working hard is great but if you not better than the guy behind you, unless he isn't working or practicing at all, the more talented/skilled players needs to play.

12/29/2018 - 9:43pm This wouldn't be surprising…

This wouldn't be surprising to me.

12/29/2018 - 9:34pm Pep isnt the OC. What part…

Pep isnt the OC. What part of this don't you guys understand. Michigan doesn't have an OC. Peps title is Assistant Head Coach/QB coach and Pass Game Coordinator. But just because he coordinates the pass game doesn't mean he calls the plays. Jim has repeatedly stated he has final say on play calls.

But you are right, Jim doesn't want someone who will have a differing opinion which is why we are in this situation.

12/29/2018 - 8:06pm I agree with this take. If…

I agree with this take. If players with more talent are playing because they don't completely grasp the offense or defense, that is not a good enough reason. You play your best players and develop a scheme that fits their skill sets.

12/29/2018 - 7:48pm There needs to he a true QB…

There needs to he a true QB competition. I feel like Shea was gifted the job and Harbaugh and co were so willing to adjust offense for him so he could learn it quickly but didn't do same for other QBs. They had to pick up full offense to be deemed worthy of being called the starter.

12/27/2018 - 8:34pm Gus Malzahn went from being…

Gus Malzahn went from being a high school coach to an offensive coordinator at Arkansas.

12/27/2018 - 3:42pm “Just important I’m viewed…

“Just important I’m viewed in a positive light and as someone who busted his butt and gave everything he had for his school That alone by itself would be a great legacy and conclusion that he made Michigan better and put Michigan in a better place than when he started” - Winovich https://t.co/WxIU2inMBA

I get people caring about what others think, but this to me is an interesting statement from him. Why does he believe playing through an injury is what is going to have him viewed in s positive light? Does he say this if it week 2 against baby seal U? Ideally we should all respect each others persnal decisions and stop acting like being "selfish" is all bad. We are all selfish at times and need to be at times for personal growth and to reach personal goals.

12/25/2018 - 11:49am Rountree has stints coaching…

Rountree has stints coaching WRs at two smaller schools already.

12/09/2018 - 11:21pm I contend Alabama tells…

I contend Alabama tells recruits to wait until close to signing day to announce. Every year they go into signing day with not many commits and then boom dudes just start dropping for them.

12/02/2018 - 11:56pm Receivers have had to wait…

Receivers have had to wait on the ball consistently on his deep throws.

12/02/2018 - 7:24pm I mean if he going to take…

I mean if he going to take on a coaching role next season, I get having him do so in the bowl game. I did want Roundtree to get the opportunity to coach them tho. Of note is that he coached QBs and he McDaniels could potentially also replace Pep if he does leave as been rumored.

12/01/2018 - 10:52pm I have no reason to believe…

I have no reason to believe you arent an insider but saying he is "taking a serious look at Cincy" is not exactly reporting his GOING to Cincy.

12/01/2018 - 7:35pm I know everyone is…

I know everyone is scratching their head at his transferring as he would have most likely been in line for RT next year. But what if he wanted to play defense and he wasnt gonna get that opportunity at Michigan?

12/01/2018 - 4:14pm The OC will not matter until…

The OC will not matter until Harbaugh does with him what he did with Brown which is let him just run his system. People around here speak about Jedd but he left because he wanted more control of an offense. Harbaugh believes in his offense (with tweaks here and there) but the philosophy is the consistent: run the ball and take a shot here and there down field.

12/01/2018 - 4:01pm The offensive philosophy is…

The offensive philosophy is Harbaugh's so when calling it vanilla ascribe it to him not his assistants. I don't care how much input they have or how he says its a committee, he has basically run this offense since Stanford.

11/25/2018 - 2:17pm So Peters was his first QB…

So Peters was his first QB recruit and he's basically been pushing him out for past two years. Questions about his personality have always been interesting to me because the amount of time they spend recruiting these kids, you ahould have seen this or the players should have seen it when he visited. I can't wait for the story to come out on this. This isnt just about his laid back approach.

11/24/2018 - 5:56pm Tell me what top OC will…

Tell me what top OC will come here knowing they will get blamed for everything eventhough Harbaugh is the real OC? Harbaugh is not giving up control of the offense because he still believes his philosophy works

11/24/2018 - 5:46pm Ok need better minds but he…

Ok need better minds but he's chief among them. His philosophy is the problem.

11/24/2018 - 5:39pm That is partly due to the…

That is partly due to the fact that we have a QB who consistently under throws receivers and throws at their feet

11/24/2018 - 5:05pm Shea is a good QB but he…

Shea is a good QB but he doesn't have good arm strength. He consistently under throws receivers on deep routes and on short routes receivers always gotta go low. His accuracy is all over the place. Im still waiting on a Harbaugh recruit to be developed

11/24/2018 - 4:50pm The OSU scheme was just…

The OSU scheme was just perfect today. You can tell they watched film because they attacked similarly to how Indiana did and they have infinitely more talent. Missing JBB on the right proved big because Steuber just couldn't hold up against the rush.

Did any coach watch film. It ridiculous to have receivers who we can't scheme open and give them opportunities for run after the catch.

11/24/2018 - 4:43pm Well unfortunately hes also…

Well unfortunately hes also the OC so no matter who is let go on that side of the ball, the offense won't change.

11/03/2018 - 9:22pm So there is only one way to…

So there is only one way to lead? Peters may or may not be a good leader but judging it based on him him celebrating with teammates or not is dumb.

09/23/2018 - 10:59am Will not say Peters is great…

Will not say Peters is great but he's also not and even last year hasn't been running the same offense as DCaf and Shea. He has talent just not a fit at Michigan and doesn't seem he was ever fit. But he was the highest rated QB who didn't turn Harbaugh down in that class.

09/18/2018 - 3:05pm 2-3 times a game is not alot…

2-3 times a game is not alot. It will open up all kinds of rush lanes for the backs and throwing lanes for his passes. The defense will start to key on the run and you need to work on stuff in games and not just wait to do things against better opponents.

09/10/2018 - 4:54pm I don't believe BP was…

I don't believe BP was injured in week one because when Shea went down both him and DM put on helmets. It appears DM has been the backup and this is a Shane Morris type situation.

09/08/2018 - 10:57pm This is interesting because…

This is interesting because he was the first hs qb Harbaugh recruited. Id hope he would've taken note of BP demeanor while recruiting him.

My point is Pep is NOT the play caller anyway so its not exclusively his fault nor should he exclusively get the praise.

09/08/2018 - 4:24pm My point is Pep is NOT the…

My point is Pep is NOT the play caller anyway. So praise or blame doesn't fall on him exclusively

09/08/2018 - 3:15pm I wonder if folks will…

I wonder if folks will praise Pep or is it just his fault when offense looks like crap lol

09/08/2018 - 1:07pm Because DPJ actually…

Because DPJ actually launched to get to the pylon. Im assuming in that situation just like a running back, those hits are fair game.

09/08/2018 - 11:39am This is where a guy like DIB…

This is where a guy like DIB transferring hurts and moving Hudson to OT to not even play him.

We have an OC, his name is Harbaugh

So tell me how the score quote tweeted that at 11:14 when the braylen tweet was at 11:28?
