03/19/2019 - 12:39pm It really all comes down to…

It really all comes down to Simpson and Teske. If either of them was a consistent 3 point threat off the pick and roll, it opens everything else up. It creates more space on the wings for Matthews and Poole to shoot in rythm or get to the basket off the dribble.

Once a defense is able to clog up the lane off the Teske screen, the offensive possession stalls out and somebody has to hurry up and get a shot off. Because everyone is stagnant when this happens, there is also no chance at an offensive rebound.

03/18/2019 - 4:00pm Texas Tech and Michigan are…

Texas Tech and Michigan are very similar teams. Both play really good defense, and both teams bog down struggle offensively when not hitting 3's.

I could also see either Florida or Nevada knocking us off if they can't find a little more consistency on offense.

03/17/2019 - 5:51pm Everyone in the building…

Everyone in the building knows MSU has a foul to give. They were probably yelling it from the sideline. Somehow the refs still fail to catch it.

03/17/2019 - 5:41pm That was atrocious.

That was atrocious.

03/17/2019 - 5:34pm All the calls and all the…

All the calls and all the breaks have gone to MSU. Unbelievable.

03/17/2019 - 5:27pm Bullshit! He didn't even…

Bullshit! He didn't even attempt a shot.

03/17/2019 - 5:03pm The one guy on their team…

The one guy on their team who has done all of the damage today is the guy they continue to leave wide open...

Here comes the foul parade, yet again...

McPoyle needs to shave. How are you gonna try and rock a beard if it only grows on your adams apple?

03/17/2019 - 4:33pm Bad sprains do hurt, but…

Bad sprains do hurt, but this looked much worse. From the brief shots on tv, didn't look like everything was in the correct position while he was on the ground.

03/17/2019 - 3:55pm I just can't figure out why…

I just can't figure out why they can't handle this team. They looked so sharp the last two days, then suddenly today they forget how to stay with their man on defense.

Of course, it also figures all the MSU "weird guys" can't miss today.

03/17/2019 - 12:19pm The first game, MSU had a…

The first game, MSU had a good game plan and UM had too many of their trademark scoring droughts. The second game, Michigan was poised and came ready to play. The ridiculous foul trouble forced the young kids to stay in way too long at the end of the first half, absolutely killing the rythm. They were never able to get it back.

The key today will be hitting the shots that they have been against Iowa and Minny, and staying out of foul trouble. Izzo is well aware, so I anticipate him being on top of his game whining to the refs from the get go.

03/05/2019 - 10:04am They are definitely not…

They are definitely not saving anything. At this point, they are what they are. That being said, they are beyond due for one of those games where everyone is on. Would be nice if they went into MSU and actually got some shots to fall.

03/04/2019 - 11:26am I wouldn't be surprised to…

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brooks and Davis both move on. Also, there is still a pretty good chance that Iggy goes the the league.

03/03/2019 - 5:17pm He has no shooters, what is…

He has no shooters, what is he supposed to do? Yes, recruit some, but he has dealt with more attrition probably than anyone outside of the handful of traditional one-and-done destinations.

Not sure I've ever seen a player with less confidence in his offensive game than Brooks...

03/03/2019 - 4:30pm Because teams aren't really…

Because teams aren't really afraid of anyone shooting 3's, so they guard against Z driving or playing pick and roll with Teske. There isn't any room to get to the hoop when the defense sags.

03/03/2019 - 4:23pm And all of the offensive…

And all of the offensive struggles are the direct result of not having any consistent outside shooters.

03/03/2019 - 4:21pm Sheesh. Another road game…

Sheesh. Another road game shooting under 30%. Even worse, anytime this team goes on the road they just aren't sharp in anything they do.

Rashan, at 280 lbs, ran the same 40 time I did at my peak as a 190 lbs safety. Freak.

Looks like his account is private. Is there proof that it was him?

The curse of Scott Bell?

Technically, a gun anywhere in a car is considered to be concealed, which you need a permit for. The only time you can legally carry in your car without a CPL is to or from the range, gun store, or gun smithb and it must be properly locked up.

Rogue One was by far the best of the "new" Star Wars movies.

02/24/2019 - 7:28pm They are a good team, but…

They are a good team, but that was not one of the teams best defensive performances. There were a lot of missed assignments and slow rotations.

02/24/2019 - 7:22pm Without Ward they are able…

Without Ward they are able to spread thw floor better, pull Teske away from the rim, and are more effective on the pick and roll.

If Ward were playing, him and Teske would have been battling in the paint, and MSU doesn't end up with as many mismatches outside on switches.

Either way, the defensive rotations were slow all day, and Poole got repeatedly embarrassed by that goofball McPoyle.

02/24/2019 - 5:38pm Terrible performance today…

Terrible performance today all around, and they have been hitting some ridiculous shots.

Calling it right now, we jump on them quick in the landfill similar to the Indiana game

02/24/2019 - 5:28pm Welp...

Welp...

02/24/2019 - 5:08pm Need to be under control…

Need to be under control though, because try-hard McPoyle will flop when you try and drive on him.

02/24/2019 - 4:48pm Lately they have been going…

Lately they have been going on huge runs at that point in the game. Need to turn up the pressure on D and quit letting their "weird guys" shoot open 3's.

02/24/2019 - 4:44pm Hope so. Need to get some…

Hope so. Need to get some offense going as well.

Would really help if Poole would quit flying past McPoyle on the shot fakes, and/or flopping, and giving him wide open looks.

02/24/2019 - 4:09pm Oof. Team looks rough on…

Oof. Team looks rough on offense so far, way too sloppy. And sparty can't miss.

02/21/2019 - 2:19pm I wish I had the time to…

I wish I had the time to sort through film and figure out the exact numbers, but it seems that their opponents score at least 90% of the time that MSU slaps the floor.

02/20/2019 - 8:28pm Part of that is the teams…

Part of that is the teams they've done it against. OSU and Rutgers have struggled to close games and score down the stretch. Both teams jumped on MSU early, but folded late when MSU started on a little run.

02/20/2019 - 7:56pm MSU's McPoyle is the most…

MSU's McPoyle is the most most annoying try-hard in the league.

01/07/2019 - 1:41pm It seems bad on the surface…

It seems bad on the surface because he is going to OSU. In reality, his contract was up and not being renewed. At 70 years old, if he doesnct want to retire, of course he is going to jump at a DC position.

Michigan can put a younger coach in his spot, who probably will boost recruiting, and eliminates the annual talk about whether Matty is about to retire. On the flip side, I don't see it as a boost to OSU's defense, and probably means LJ is heading to Maryland.

01/02/2019 - 1:58pm I was just talking about…

I was just talking about this the other day. He is now the Michael Cohen of the OSU athletic department.

01/01/2019 - 11:05pm He isn't a finished product,…

He isn't a finished product, but he got a good draft grade. Why not get paid to develop in the league, and likely be utilized better than here?

12/20/2018 - 8:38am I wouldn't be mad about that…

I wouldn't be mad about that. So far Ellies is the only one I've heard the staff has started to pursue.

12/19/2018 - 4:53pm Hickson was always planning…

Hickson was always planning for February. Johnson will not be "announcing" his signing until February when his school does it. No need to worry.

12/02/2018 - 7:34pm If you can play, the NFL…

If you can play, the NFL will find you. Can't really question him wanting to play close to home.

It has been confirmed by recruiting insiders and Giles Jackson that there is another 2019 commit coming.

11/20/2018 - 6:40pm Hit or miss. I've been…

Hit or miss. I've been yelled at randomly because I had a Michigan plate, but never had my car messed with. One of my friends went to MSU but had nothing on his car other than a license plate from Michigan. His car got keyed up in a hotel parking lot in Columbus and they carved a big "O" on his hood. This wasn't even during football season.

11/12/2018 - 8:37pm Not surprised that he doesn…

Not surprised that he doesn't quite understand how averages work. Michigan only gives up 12.7 points per game, but they somehow lost to Notre Dame.

*head explodes*

11/11/2018 - 7:41pm He is still on Urbans/OSU's…

He is still on Urbans/OSU's payroll, so I wouldn't expect anything to come out about him. There is absolutely no way they didn't make sure to get that under control as soon as everything broke back in August.

11/10/2018 - 8:37am This would only apply to…

This would only apply to those players who aren't NBA ready out of high school. The one and dones go to those schools because they aren't required to do anything school related, just go play your one year of required college ball really quick and possibly leave with some hardware on the way out.

11/08/2018 - 8:03am The story you are thinking…

The story you are thinking of involves a female athlete and male athlete(s) from one of the two major revenue sports.

11/06/2018 - 5:39pm Next year we are looking at…

Next year we are looking at Ambry at one spot obviously. Then it would be up for the taking between St. Juste, Myles Sims, Vincent Gray, and Gemon Green. A couple of good Freshmen coming in as well, but I don't anticipate them starting right away.

11/05/2018 - 10:18am This isn't exactly "pulling…

This isn't exactly "pulling a scholarship" since the kid is over a year away from being able to even sign his LOI. I think it sucks because the kid was so pumped about Michigan, but Wiltfong just CB'd Harrison to M, so there's that.
