I know we’re all pissed off about the state of the football program, but moments like these help us to remember a few very important things:

1) Football is just a damn game. There are infinitely more important things in this world. Football has no bearing on real life, or at least it shouldn’t. OSU could beat us the next 100 years in a row, and that fact would not change one iota.

2) Life is precious. Never take it for granted, because one day it’s going to be gone.

Rest easy, young man. I hope your family can find peace.

Really followed his story. So very sad yet his short life was such an inspiration. Prayers of thanks for the lessons he taught us and prayers for his family for the huge loss they’ve incurred. Blessings to his family.

Such sad news, even as much as it was apparent that his time on this Earth was soon to end.  May his family find peace in the inspiration he gave to many and in the wonderful memories they have of this fine young man.

Rest in peace, Tyler.

What an inspiration he was. I feel privileged to have him as a shining example of courage and selflessness.

RIP Tyler.  Prayers to your family.

He first got diagnosed with cancer as a 16-year old. And lived to 20, even with the chemo.

Can't imagine going thru what he did - he was an amazing inspirational guy. God Bless!

Dang!!!  That hurts. If I may use the word hate in any context in life,”I literally HATE, cancer!”  RIP TYLER!  You aren’t suffering any longer and I’m just speechless.  Bless his family!  Boiler Up, Tyler

Well, this sucks.  Glad he got to see Purdue one last time on the Colts plane.  But also sorry he had to watch that...

Amazing stories are everywhere when you look for them, his happened to cross the paths of CFB fans everywhere.

IIRC the way they were talking about him during the Ohio State game, they weren't sure he would get to that game and definitely didn't think he would make it to the end of the season.  So hell of a fight, kid.

As always, fuck cancer.
