In Lalos death scene after…

In Lalos death scene after they shot the guns at each other Gus checked if he was shot and saw blood and slumped over.  Lalos status or face was not seen or known.

I found out online that scene was not what everyone else apparently saw.  Online the scene was Lalo choking on his own blood, he laughs and dies with Gus over him.

Anyone hear about this or see it?  I can't find anything about it online.  I feel like I'm in some weird prank.

I don't think going to PSU's…

I don't think going to PSU's 247 board is a good decision to get the  barometer on anything.

If you went to Michigans 247 board last year and made decisions based off that where would we be now?

The fact you think Don Brown…

The fact you think Don Brown made no adjustments invalidates anything you write.  Don't be a call in radio guy.  Be better.

No way this team is a #5…

No way this team is a #5 seed.  I liked the balanced info/review but this team is going to overwhelm teams.

The key to this almost nobody will be able to stop Dickinson 1 on 1.  He is easy to shut down right now but it requires a team strategy focused on it.  We have the weapons to punish it. 2-3 seed at worst unless injuries ravage the team.

Because Michigan fans are…

Because Michigan fans are miserable in general and newsflash we have lost to Ohio St a bunch of times.

Walker told Sam the opposite…

Walker told Sam the opposite on Sunday after the game.  Harbaugh told him they want him as a WR.

Where is Ak47 on this post? …

Where is Ak47 on this post?  Odd.

It is the same  guy.  He was…

It is the same  guy.  He was a hot name a few years ago.  I think even for the Lions job before Patricia.   Then his prospects seemed to cool.  Who knows.

That team is slow.  …

That team is slow.   Michigan is not slow.  This is going to look like Bama.  We are not Bama, but MSU will make us look like Bama.

They can't match the team speed.  Gattis is not going to run up the middle.  It's going to be play action and guys are going to be loose in space.

$1 Blake Corum takes a pass of less than 5 yards way more than 5 yards for a TD.

Anything less than 60 will be disappointing.*

*Unless Minnesota lays a turd against Maryland tonight.  Then all  bets are off.  Lol

It does seem the level of…

It does seem the level of doom for Mcnamara is off the charts even for the usual high level of doom from the MGo staff.

Even if you don't believe the "he was Bama's top target" stuff he was a solid recruit that has been in the system and training for 2 years now.   I would expect solid play at a minimum with upside.

To equate this situation to Russel Bellamy is really a cup is half empty and it has bugs in it kind of view.

I think it comes down to SK…

I think it comes down to SK has less fat people.

Is IMG playing in fall?  …

Is IMG playing in fall?   That seems really weird if they are.

Scott Frost took a team with…

Scott Frost took a team with 0 wins to undefeated in 2 years and beat Auburn in the Sugar Bowl on his way out the door.  I think he knows a little something about coaching a winning football team.  The patience level of people on these boards is comical.

He couldn't win in the Big Ten with an injured true frosh at QB and no talent on the roster.  Fire him he sucks.

My kids need the interaction…

My kids need the interaction of school.  They will attend when possible.  Data says risks are minute.

People are making big leaps…

People are making big leaps off the quote.

Tom isn't taking a big risk throwing the ball to 2 or 3 guys.

This seems like a safe activity to do while maintaining social distancing.

Tom probably should explain his stance more clearly but we currently have guys making big leaps off of 1 historical quote.

So funny to see everyone…

So funny to see everyone spin everything.   You test 100s of people you are going to get a few positive tests.

Every team has said the same thing when this happens.

You utilize the protocols you have in place and move on.

Why the concern over DT?  …

Why the concern over DT?   The whole line is returning and Hinton and Mazi are coming on.

The future Dline is of concern.   Next year will be excellent unless injuries.   No proven depth.

It's a very consistent theme…

It's a very consistent theme on here of negativity towards any type of planned gathering or optimism.

We are several months away.  The trends are going well and this is a cautious approach allowing for adjustments, yet you still found a way to shit on it.

Nobody knows how this thing will develop in the next 2 months.  Just like Michigan's recruiting class.   Let's have some faith, be optimistic and see how it goes.

Thanks for the clarification…

Thanks for the clarification guys.

Magnus did you see anything in the way he moves to improve your opinion.

Holland seems to think he's a good basketball player.  I'm not sure you can be good at basketball at 6'4"and be too stiff for Dline.

Good sign for the future…

Good sign for the future that we are having a lot of in state talent.

Side question.

My buddy told me that he saw a post on the Wokverine that TJ Guy blew up at a camp last weekend.

Can anyone clarify what is going on here?   They are having prospect workouts now?  If they are how many attended?   Do they have additional info on Guy.

"The staff has given up on…

"The staff has given up on getting elite talent."

Do you know how stupid that statement is?

5 fakes out of 5 on that 40…

5 fakes out of 5 on that 40 time.

Why can't people understand…

Why can't people understand math?  You take around 4 OL on average a year.  Sure it sucks to lose top in state talent, but sometimes it's just a numbers game, scheme fit or any of multitude of factors.

Save the criticism until you see how it plays out.

.

Malice-  Alec Baldwin,…

Malice-  Alec Baldwin, Nicole Kidman, Bill Pullman.

Best pivot mid-movie.

We are not thin at all this…

We are not thin at all this year.   Next year Eubanks and Mason will be gone.   All and Schoonmaker and BVS will be Juniors and Hibner will be a Sophmore.   Need to start filling in depth.  What if Hibner gets hurt or doesn't work out?   It's not dire.   You just need 2 guys in this cycle.   We still run a a lot of sets  that include 2 guys that can block and catch whatever you want to call them.

I know you weren't asking me…

I know you weren't asking me but I think All will be one of the best Te we have had at Michigan when he's done.  Kid looks like a beast.   He adds some good weight to add to his blocking violence and speed look out.

I think Magnus was talking about numbers regarding the TE situation not the talent level.  Next year we will have 3 on scholarship/maybe 4 if you count BVS and only 1 underclassmen in HIbner.

My question for Magnus is when do you think we will see our next wave of commitments?   Feels like sometime during spring practice we need like a 5 commit weekend.

I am on board with the…

I am on board with the Mayfield hype train.  To play at that level as a R-FR is very promising.  He has the measurables and play to become a 1st rd pick.   Becoming a 1st rd pick is pretty daunting.   I was curious who else people thought could be potential 1st rd picks.   Here are my most likely from the current roster based on potential and trajectory.

1. Mayfield

2. Nico

3. Mcgrone

4. Dax

5. Ambry

Just a small observation.  …

Just a small observation.   We have 2 football themed points in this post.  We have Shea is inaccurate and Jalen Mayfield may be awesome.   14 comments about the football portions so far and 14 about the negative part and 0 about the positive part.   Our brand is still spot on.

Offenses avoided Peppers on…

Offenses avoided Peppers on the edge just like offenses avoided Okudah.   That's why his stats were down.  Nobody threw in the flat against Peppers.

The NFL that drafted him in the 1st rd tends to disagree with you. I'll side with the NFL over the internet guy.    Peppers was an excellent college football player.   Did he change the world like we hoped when he signed?  No he didn't.  Does that justify your post and make it a win for you?   Congrats.

Okudah had 3 Int and 0 TD…

Okudah had 3 Int and 0 TD for his career.

On his DC stint at Georgia. …

On his DC stint at Georgia.   Much like being Saban's DC or Mike Leach OC or Lincoln Riley OC nobody knows how much he really contributed.

He is the ultimate wildcard.

Other than there is no…

Other than there is no content and you referenced a turd this post is going to be great.  Are you a MSU BoT?

I think Brown can get what…

I think Brown can get what he needs by visiting with who he wants based on his stature in the profession.

I think Shoop was hired because Brown is comfortable and respects him as a coach and after Campy left pickings were slim.  Good 1 yr deal for both.

Jean seems like Jim making a good strong hire and we will see what happens.

2016 with Speight was the…

2016 with Speight was the best team in 10 years not 2015.

Were they well coached vs…

Were they well coached vs Gonzaga and then the coaches forgot?

Fake News.   I've been told…

Fake News.   I've been told by people on the internet Harbaugh doesn't personally recruit anymore, doesn't care about recruiting in general and is happy being 8-4.

Must be a doppelganger like The Outsider.

Or get bumped to the bench…

Or get bumped to the bench by a transfer or lower rated player.   Nothing "pretty much guaranteed" in football.

I'm very excited about the…

I'm very excited about the Tank hire.   He is supposedly the most  beloved coach on staff.  Captain at Arkansas.  He was voted one of the 30 coaches under 30 to watch.   Lot of rumors of other teams trying to steal him away.

This seems like the kind of guy that is hungry and ready to hit the ground running and will be a great recruiter.   Recruiting is about energy and personality.  Not to stereotype but most S&C guys and team captains seem to have some juice to them.  Can't wait to here him on with Sam.   He will change opinions of him quickly.

Shoop seems like a late stage fill in.  Not sure if Harbaugh adheres to an old school code of not stealing coaches this late, but that appears the only reason to make this move.   He's probably the best pure "coach" unemployed currently.

Gattis and Moore are…

Gattis and Moore are supposedly elite recruiters.  Nua, Brown and Warriner do well.

Just a quick side note.  Remember when Warriner was hired and Brian and everyone else reported he was a good oline coach but he sucks at recruiting?

That narrative according to Sam and others seems to be completely false.

As Ygritte says.   We know nothing.

There is no evidence in the…

There is no evidence in the previous 5 years that if Harbaugh really wanted a guy that they would low ball him.

It's more likely it was the Campy timeline that screwed things up or Harbaugh and Clink didn't click.   Just because guys don't mesh 100% doesn't mean either guy is bad or has a problem.   It is a wise decision not to force the hire.

Did you miss the recruiting…

Did you miss the recruiting camps that got shot down when he started here?  Guy has tried pushing the rules envelope in every direction only to be shot down by the NCAA.  Yeah, he just quit and sits in his office now because he doesn't care about wins or losses.

I'm sure you are much more competitive than he is.

Nobody knows anything about…

Nobody knows anything about this guy except the people in Schembechler Hall. It's not great and it's not stupid until we see what happens.  I'm guessing he has a ton of energy to attack this job with everything he's got.

Again,  despite endless examples of the public knowing nothing and being proven wrong as many times as being proven right we act like we know 100%.

Just off the top of my head I'll go with Dabo and Orgeron that were trashed when they were hired.

I know all of you care more about the team and beating OSU more than Harbaugh does, but he is aware that he needs good recruiters.   He put it in the job post somewhere.  I'm almost sure of it.

We are.

We are.

The ability to predetermine…

The ability to predetermine the outcome of teams mid-season despite the overwhelming evidence over the last few years from our own team is amazing.

Teams evolve over the course of a season.  This team has injuries, a new coach and a lot of moving pieces.

Do not write off this team.

I'm sure your wrote off several of our "exciting" teams the last few years after a few losses.

Yes.  Yes it it how it is…

Yes.  Yes it it how it is now.

Also, nobody should ever include NFL draft as attrition.  That's idiotic.

So the take from Wilfong is…

So the take from Wilfong is....CP is the best recruiter in the world,  but just sits by in the worst run recruiting department in the country and says nothing to help anyone else?

Harbaugh works harder than any big name coach on recruiting.  It's not even close.

People,  please use some logic when being fed bullshit.

This is just catnip for the…

This is just catnip for the internet.

Mattison probably said 80-90% of that.

Probably never mentioned Michigan at all but Latham inferred it or imagined it and then told the story and added some more.

Don't discount the writer who probably asked a leading question to mine the money quote from Latham.

I tend to agree with you on…

I tend to agree with you on your point here and he did have his teams show up in games it looked like we had no chance vs OSU so this isn't meant to be a dick but it's the internet so....punt/counterpunt

He almost lost his 1 win vs a shit OSU team so he easily could have been 0-4.  If not for a slight overthrow by Braxton we could have had another tragically bad loss to rank up there with The Snap Horror and Hail Mary games.

As a Harbaugh truther I can point out the 16 and 17 games in which he easily could have won and he would have been 2-3 and much better than anything we have had in the last decade.

Donovan Jeter played several…

Donovan Jeter played several snaps in this game and did pretty good.

Dismissing Kemp's value because he's not a difference maker vs OSU is a mistake.  He's very important cog for next year.

You are correct that it all…

You are correct that it all falls on the feet of the guy in charge, but do you give anyone any breaks for just well bad fucking luck?   I know you can blame the evaluations but consider the guys that are supposed to be playing at DT.    Solomon, Hudson and the other 4 guys who didn't work out in that class.  You can blame Mattison, Brown or whoever but that dline class was an epic disaster of injuries, transfers and disappointing players.

Solomon not working out for whatever reason is the biggest issue with this team over the last 2 years.   Having an NFL 1st rd player at DT the last 2 years changes everything.
