Last night, started with a Dogfish Head Barrel Aged World Wide Stout. After getting knocked on my ass, mellowed out with a Founders CBS. That was a very Merry Christmas!
regrets: occasionally being an a-hole to my wife. Never a good look. Never physical, only stupid verbal stuff that makes it clear I’m a idiot!
Was at the game and, even with the rain, it was electric. Only negative, besides John O’Neill (Irish?) was the lame student section. Not close to being filled in the first half and about 1/3 filled after halftime. The kids who stayed did make noise at least so hats off to them.
1. Pats because I root for Tom Brady and LA sucks.
2. Nothing in the grill but Founders Backwoods Bastard 2017 followed by Goose Island Bourbon County Barleywine 2016 in my cup (glass)! That’s harder to beat than Tom Brady!
3. Not prepared. Just too snow blower to shop today for repairs. Shoveling out Tuesday am is going to suck like the Rams...
Title is so right. Nitpicking the details you could say were better or worse than that standard but essentially, we are a 10-3 program that doesn’t win a lot of big games. Kind of like our history over the last 50 years. Could be better, could be a lot worse. Oh well...
Nick is a good writer and a good analyst. I think he’s been very objective and fair but that’s soooo different from most beat writers that I think it comes across as negative. He’s been a big upgrade at the freep.
Agree. Used to do presentations to a board that Engler sat on. He looked just like that then, invariably, fell asleep before briefly waking to ask a question. Then, back to sleep. Amazing he’s been awake enough as MSU prez to be such a butt.
I was there. Seemed loud to me and as good as crowds I’ve seen at games anywhere other than a Bama-LSU night game (at Bama). That crowd was off the charts loud and into the game which turned into a blowout.
I think everyone spends to much time complaining about the “quiet” Michigan crowd. I went to Iowa at wisconsin last year and was surprised, despite all I had heard, how “quiet” the Wisconsin crowd was.
Mivhigan may not be the loudest crowd but it does well. Enjoy the win...
Would be really cool if we could have alternate sections where maize or blue. Iowa had gold and black sections for the night game vs Wisco and it looked really good on TV.
Who knows why Marcus feels so bitter towards Michigan. But, he’s a turd. I avoid any broadcast, podcast, or anything else he’s involved with. He went from offering impartial insight to offering aggrieved, victimized, look at me bs.

I keep wishing some TE related post would say that Tyrone Wheatley Jr is practicing at tackle and looking impressive. His TE future seems limited but he seems to have the body and athleticism to make a great tackle. Of course, that would be a learning process and might be to late to help with UM’s tackle issues...
Someone may not like get their head shaved but this is harmless and I think actually develops a sense of team. Assuming the victim isn’t really insecure
Aged another 4 weeks in a 2 liter charred oak barrel at home. Cool gift this holiday season. Buffalo Trace is normally really good. A little more Oak, vanilla and smoother after 4 weeks in the Barrel.
