Exactly this....if the right hand man comes at a discount, why not just move on instead of paying an exorbitant price for a S&C coach.  Hard to believe that someone that has been side by side with Herbert for 5 years cannot continue the same practices and procedures going forward.

Grew up in Swartz Creek, MI,…

Grew up in Swartz Creek, MI, idolizing heros like Tripp Welbourne, Marquise Walker, Anthony Thomas, Marcus Ray, Charles Woodson.  Survived the hard times with the gifts of Shoelace, Jordan Kovacs, Jourdan Lewis, Amara Darboh, Devin Gardner.  Not sure I ever truly believed this night would ever happen but because I bleed Maize and Blue, every September my faith was restored.

Still sitting in my chair.  My family has long since went to bed.  Not sure what to do with myself.  What an amazing delirium.

MGoBlog is an absolute gift for Michigan fans and I am truly grateful for the combination of fandom, passion, knowledge and talent its staff provides.

Soak it in.  National Champions.

Appreciate the kind words…

Appreciate the kind words and for bringing this back to anyone's attention that may have missed it the first time around (myself included)!  Prayers for you and your family.

Probably reading into it too…

Probably reading into it too much but the body language of Rod Moore leaving the field in Lincoln was significantly different that the rest of his teammates post-victory.  Hopefully he gets the reps and mojo back to where everyone expected it would be at this point in the season.

So, we are #1 in the first…

So, we are #1 in the first two posts and arguably the two most important positions on the field?  I am good with this...

And Iowa.

And Iowa.

As if I needed more reasons to hate Brad Davison, hearing him try to get his teammates to sing their post-game song right in the middle of this madness adds another to the list.

Agree with the first post. …

Agree with the first post.  I have done a ton of research and the 11 and 2:30 kick offs do not work with a projector.  Buy a Smart TV.....works during the day and extra clear at night.  With way prices have come down for large tvs these days, I would not even waste money on an "outdoor" tv.

Could not agree more.  I…

Could not agree more.  I have a 9 year old daughter who is an aspiring gymnast that has watched the 2 hour long ESPN replay 6 times already.  Magical.

My daughter, who just turned 9 two days ago, was born the day before this game.  Remember watching holding her in my arms.  One of the best days in my lifetime.

To me, this is quite comforting.  I love the fact that he is calling them out and willing to be open about the challenges the team is facing.  All four of your bullet points stuck out like a sore thumb in the game tonight.  Hard to teach an old dog new tricks.  Hopefully the young talent walking in the door will be on board with the way things work in Howard's program from the beginning.

Walked into a gym in Lawrence, KS and a woman by the entrance was decked out in Michigan gear, so I of course said "Go Blue" and she stopped me to talk.  Turns out she was Ronnie Bell's aunt.  Guessing she had no idea a couple hours later her nephew was going to provide the highlight above!

Go Blue!

Everyone wants to be …

Everyone wants to be "friends" with their children instead of being their parent.  One of my favorite lines from an average movie.

"Listen kid, I am not your best friend, that is your mother's racket.  I am your father, I tell you when you screw up."

It is Michigan football and at roughly 4pm tomorrow it will be gone for another 9 months.  Silly to wish this one away calling it "meaningless"....

Well....

Love picking up a grinder like him.  I would not bet against him doing great things for the maize and blue.  That being said, this video looks like he is playing amongst children.

Shea...

I cannot pinpoint why I feel this way....but I feel the same way as Ijohnb.  This feels like a move we would have made two years ago but not now.  I feel it projects instability in the program.  I would prefer we show our allegiance to Peters and McCaffrey and move forward.

Samuel's run...

Do not forget how many holding calls that were ignored on this back and forth run that the officials did not allow us to tackle him....

The chains....

I was at the game and the chains on the sideline showed 3rd down when it should have been marked as 2nd.

In the stadium...

I am included in the 57% majority that would rather see the comments disabled than suffer through being forced to sift through the trash in order to find the intelligent and redeeming content.

We traveled to AA for our first game in about three years and our first opportunity to be a part of "The Game."  I was suprised that my experience with Ohio fans was mostly pleasant.  However, sitting in Section 20, I was quickly reminded of who the people posting behind anonymous screen names on this site are in real life.  My section was filled with ruthless and vulgar JOK haters and it was very apparent they knew little about the game and almost certainly never played it.

Watching JOK in the pregame and on the sidelines you are able to see the kid has physical skills.  He can sling the football and has better than average athleticism.  It is truly amazing to witness a college athlete thrust into a moment that was just too big for him.  I feel badly for the situation he finds himself in today but he never had a shot.  Excited for what is to come with our defensive talent and a Peters / McCaffrey led offense.  Patience will be rewarded.

THIS ^^^^^

A hearty thanks to everyone who just goes about their lives after a bad game. There are so many more of you than it seems like, because you're drinking and playing Mario Kart or making a casserole or fighting the mighty Gronthar. You are not replying to a Huge tweet and tagging half the Michigan beat. Hey buddy, if I wanted to hear the opinion of a Huge caller I'd listen to Huge.

I have tried to contact Ms. Kline for permission to print a large canvas but she hasn't responded.  This is the one I definitely want...

I would also need a higher resolution file to print.

Great Post

One of my favorite posts in quite some time...

Always a fan of a little hype....

Also enjoy seeing how many of the names on these lists that we were in recruiting battles for until the very end.  Harbaugh has expanded the recruiting footprint and it is entertaining...

Agree here...

I thought Oregon looked like a very average basketball team last night.  I believe they will get throttled by Kansas.  The entire night just looked sluggish.  MAAR passed up on a couple open lanes where he had been killing the opposition of late.  He is one of the only guards that get to the rim and when he opted against it we became awfully predictable (especially with Mo's issues).  He also had some very uncharacteristic lazy turnovers in the first half.  Mo needs to watch some film and mature this offseason.  He expends a lot of energy complaining about every foul call that he has against him.

Pretty annoyed with our post defense last night.  We are always playing the straight up card but it takes very basic footwork to get around our guys as they stand frozen in one place while an easy layup is made.

Walton is a warrior.  Wanted that shot to go down becasue he earned it.  He played out of his mind for the last 2 months.  Hope some NBA exec gives him a shot to prove himself at the next level.  Just an anticlimactic way for such a fun run to end.

Disappointing but also surprising...

If you follow JD on social media, he is quite endearing about his gf.  Something must have gone really sideways with this one.  Male athletes have to be very careful...

Awful

That tan/brown is awful.  I would consider buying if that was white.

Waggoner offer on Feb 8th

Amara Darboh could play a nice role in bringing this beast into the fold.

Video

May be the first recruiting video I have seen with so many missed shots included....

Hudson and Long

1.  Not sure I remember a highlight reel where you can watch 5 minutes of film and not see a kid get tackled?  He is a beast.

2.  That Long snapchat photo while on an official visit to another school using "We" may be one of my favorites in all the Recruitin threads.

Very satisfied....

with this hire.  Not the flashy big name but love the potential stability and continuity it brings to the program.  In Jim I trust...

Welcome aboard!!!

Good news is so much more fun than bad...Go Blue!

Very solid work!

Big fan of Jedd

Big fan of Jedd in this interview and these answers...

One of my favorites....

He has been one of my favorites for a long time.  Wish him the best of luck in all future endeavors!

Repeat

This one is going on repeat for a while.  Excellent work!

Welcome home...

Absolutely love his quotes.  I am sure he can coach a RB but that passion is priceless.  Welcome home, #6.

Yes please...

Absolutely.  The rest of the roster deserves the shot at being successful.  Shane is a competitor...he would benefit from the competition and the year with Harbaugh's tutelage.

I cringe everytime I see the Suga Shane hit...

I too wondered why nobody came to his defense after this hit.  Anyone else find it troubling that DG never spoke with Shane throughout the game and almost seemed smug on the sidelines.  Love DG but this disappointed me.  I get he was pissed...but still a teammate out there.

Leaving for Ames now...

I agree with your thoughts on Iowa State's returning minutes...but rarely does Iowa State get run in Hilton.  Hopefully the boys are ready to go to today because Hilton will be as loud as they come!  Go Blue!

RVB

I think he needs to keep his comments private.  He has a direct line to the coaching staff if he wants to voice a destructive opinion.  Unless of course his objective is to help us become Nebraska and Tommy Frazer.
