6, except I'll care about the players relevant to my fantasy football success

It's no wonder nobody…

It's no wonder nobody figured out how to beat this team. Shoulda/Coulda been back to back national champs. This is an all-time Michigan team that we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. Complete domination all season. Stars and legends everywhere. What a year and what a group of kids.

If I had to rank them…

If I had to rank them easiest to most difficult, mine would look like this:

1. FSU
2. Washington
3. Oregon
4. Texas
5. Alabama
6. Ohio State
7. Georgia

What if:

Michigan Wins
Bama…

What if:

Michigan Wins
Bama Wins
FSU Wins
Oklahoma St Wins
Washington Wins

Would it be:
1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. FSU
4. Bama

OR

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Bama
4. FSU

I think that part of the…

I think that part of the plan is laid out on page 523 in the manifesto.

Bananas (insert bananas…

Bananas (insert bananas cramping gif from the blue jays pitcher)

Former Michigan guard…

Former Michigan guard Frankie Collins is on Arizona State, who came back to beat VCU. He's leading the team in points, assists, and steals.

Going to be a tough game with Frankie playing with a chip on his shoulder against his former team. He had some amazing moments with Michigan as a freshman. He had 14 points and 6 rebounds in our opening NCAA Tourney game against Colorado St.

Either Winovich or Hutch, or…

Either Winovich or Hutch, or Gary

Then Bush or Peppers

Then DPJ or Nico

Then Deveon Smith or Haskins

Can we ally with GT? It…

Can we ally with GT? It seems like we have mutual interests, and if we combine our forces, and stay friendly with Wisconsin, then we should be able to wipe out Oklahoma, Clemson, Alabama, Stanford, and possibly Nebraska.

Whoever is in charge for us should reach out to GT.

Was his name George Costanza…

Was his name George Costanza?

Except our "playoff"…

Except our "playoff" includes OSU, PSU, msu, Wisc, ND, Iowa, etc. Where Clemson's playoff is WF, GT, NC St, Duke, etc, etc...

I understood that reference.

I understood that reference.

For those who are too young…

For those who are too young to know, this was a phrase said by one of the best in the business, back when ESPN and Sportscenter were awesome. Stuart Scott was the man who came up with this phrase, and he was THE MAN on sportscenter.

He passed away in 2015 from cancer, and I still can't believe he's gone.

They should be at the…

They should be at the Clemson vs A&M game. LSU wins big today, 52 - 13.

Clemson is playing their only "hard" game all season until the CFP semifinal. Everyone should be rooting for A&M. I think it'll be closer than the spread. I'm guessing a 38 - 35 game could go either way. Much better game than lsu smashing texas.

Everyone should watch the…

Everyone should watch the Clemson game. Because this is literally their only "hard" game all season until the CFP semifinal. This is your only chance to see them face real competition, actually open up their playbook, etc.

And LSU should wreck Texas, so that'll be fun to watch. I'm thinking 52 - 13 LSU victory.

For the MSU game, I'm thinking MSU sneaks by 16 - 13.

OSU will win big. Don't even turn that on. 70 - 3 blowout.

I have nothing against the…

I have nothing against the people who serve, but if you truly believe the world is full of anarchy and our military presence is the be all end all remedy to problems around the world, then you have swallowed too much from the propaganda machine of the us military.

Look at central and south america for perfect examples of anarchy created by strategic us military intervention, and our need for greed to feed the capitalist complex of our upper class.

This level of optimism is…

This level of optimism is freaking me out.

We only lose to ND (by 3)…

We only lose to ND (by 3) and MD (in OT), win the B1G East and B1G Championship Game, but get left out of the playoffs. We win our bowl game by 50 points, igniting a hellstorm upon the NCAA to increase the playoffs to more than 4 teams. 2020 has a 10 team playoff (top 2 get byes).

As someone who knows next to…

As someone who knows next to nothing about finance and economics:

What factors do you look at to classify the economy as "strong"? I always see people refer to stocks (DOW and S&P), and unemployment rate. But those seem non-representative to this average joe because:

1: The average Joe can barely put away for a 401k, let alone anything into actual stocks; and

2. Unemployment may be low, but isn't it likely low because so many middle to lower class people are working 3 - 6 part time jobs (and because of this they aren't getting employee benefits like retirement, healthcare, vacation, etc).

I've never seen a movie that…

I've never seen a movie that came out before 1999. And I'm 30 years old.

So far:

So far:

1. Bryan - Jonathan Taylor + Rondale Moore + Game managing QB Stanley = consistent and dangerous offense.

2. Seth - Playmakers everywhere: Shea, Dobbins, DPJ/Hill/Black. Big play threat every snap.

3. Ace - I like the RB/WR here more than Brian, but I like Martinez more than Fields.

4. Brian - I like Martinez, but I'm not as high on the MN players as you are.

Go to the r/CFB subreddit,…

Go to the r/CFB subreddit, pick the Michigan flair from the right side of the page, then comment on posts.

Since Michigan is universally hated, you have to be careful not to ruffle any feathers. Self depreciation is a big hit over there, also mocking the "bad" michigan fans is encouraged. Just be smart, don't talk like a sparty bro or what people see as an "arrogant" Michigan fan, don't bring up the early 1900's, etc.

Probably try to increase…

Probably try to increase karma on r/CFB. That's what they used to measure "power" of each player.

I don't know enough …

I don't know enough (translation: anything) about college basketball recruiting, assistant coaches, or what Juwan wants/needs in his assistants and what players fit his idea of a college team.

I'll support any moves that are made. I hope he follows in Beilein's footsteps and does things by the book, as frustrating as it may be while the competition can get away with anything.

We won't have a true idea of what a Juwan team is like until 2021. Until then, I just hope everything is by the book, no scandals, no run in with the law from student athletes, and an enjoyable product is on the court.

As long as Patterson can…

As long as Patterson can make these reads, which I think he can, then this offense should be the best offense we've seen under Harbaugh. Really excited to see what this offense can do once they start utilizing all their weapons on the outside and get them into space.

1. Noon games always and…

1. Noon games always and forever (exceptions for UTL games against rivals)

2. If the NCAA is 100% against "paying" athletes, why in the world is it a bad idea to let them get sponsors, do commercials, have a youtube channel, have an etsy shop, etc? 99% of these college athletes are at the height of their public recognition. They should be able to make money off of their name if the NCAA/schools don't pay them.

3. Getting rid of offsides is dumb. Expanding the ice to Olympic would be great for the NHL.

4. Please hire Juwan Howard.

The 4chan crowds like the…

The 4chan crowds like the rebrand and claim common symbols and gestures in order to "troll", bait headlines, and pretend they are spread wherever those gestures crop up.

They've tried claiming the peace symbol, thumbs up, number 1, and this circle game, among others. So whenever a celebrity, athlete, etc pose with these gestures, their boards go crazy saying they are secret 4channers and their message is truly global and they are slowly no longer the silent minority.

Yeah I'm gonna echo what…

Yeah I'm gonna echo what other people are saying. Dude is old, and may not perform live much longer.

I'm 29, but I'm trying to see as many bands as I can before they retire or die. I've seen:

Motley Crue
Motorhead
Judas Priest
Cheap Trick
Alice Cooper
KISS
Def Leppard
Journey
Styx
REO Speedwagon
Ted Nugent
Heaven & Hell (aka Black Sabbath but Dio instead of Ozzie (months before Dio passed away))
Poison
Lita Ford

Bands I missed out on due to money and/or the dates didn't work out:
Bob Seger
Fleetwood Mac
Eagles (before Glenn Frey passed away)
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Yeah they absolutely took…

Yeah they absolutely took Simpson out of his game. He was seemingly uncomfortable from the tip. He couldn't find a passing lane, couldn't drive, couldn't run off of missed shots or turnovers, and had a hard time contesting shots on D.

We definitely need a Duncan Robinson type guy; someone who can come down and hit NBA range 3s to end scoring droughts. Thought Livers was that guy but he and everyone else couldn't hit open 3s. If we hit any, then that would've open up spacing for our pick n roll game.

Also, I think Iggys first shot is a lot like Mo's first shot last year: if it drops he's putting up 20+, if he misses he's gonna struggle and force it until he scores. Iggy missed his first couple from deep and never found his shot.

Tech played great D and ruined our offense by taking out Simpson. Great year and a painful learning experience. Need consistent scorers to beat top Ds like tech and msu.

Well, to help your case for…

Well, to help your case for rooting in Evans to get back on track, he has a well documented history of doing good things in his spare time, and hundreds of accounts of how nice he is off the field.

I agree. FSU is a very legit…

I agree. FSU is a very legit team this year. They are crazy athletic, long, can switch everything, and play great defense.

It's interesting to see the West has some of the best defensive teams

I agree. I think, with how…

I agree. I think, with how high they were running the Winston/Tillman screens, Simpson can go under those to keep Teske on Tillman. Winston will get his, but don't let him create wide open looks for his teammates.

Go Blue!!! Win the game!!…

Go Blue!!! Win the game!! Beat state!

And somehow he's not even…

And somehow he's not even mentioned as a possible coach of the year in the B1G.

Looking forward to Sunday…

Looking forward to Sunday. If we continue to get consistent verticality no-calls, that's the key to stopping Winston, and a lot of the MSU fast-pace offense.

They were a heck of a…

They were a heck of a Canadian power couple for the 2 years they were together! Thankfully for everyone, they are still good friends.

Also as a side note, Avril suffered through the worst of the symptoms from Lyme disease. Took a couple years to recover, but now she's back!

And some dude in South America started a blog rumour that Avril died and was replaced with a clone. She has obviously denied those rumours.

Listening to her album on… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKF6ghfcQic

Listening to her album on youtube, released this week; this was the early single release. Great song. She has really grown into a great lyricist. I also love her song with Chad Kroeger when they were married called Let Me Go.

Maybe not OSU and Wisconsin…

Maybe not OSU and Wisconsin. They always seem to beat us, even in our great seasons.

As a GV alum and lifelong…

As a GV alum and lifelong fan, I am pretty happy.

I was definitely not in the…

I was definitely not in the disappointment mob last year. I am pleased with our offensive progression, and can't wait to see what it will look like this year.

For those of us who watched…

For those of us who watched D2 football last year, especially GLIAC and the playoff games, the Ferris offense was very "speed in space".

They probably relied too much on the legs of their QB in the end, but they had no problem throwing bombs all over the field, spreading out the D and opening huge holes for their fast RB + QB to run read options.

This is the next logical step for our offense to take. Ideally, everyone would run the Patriots offense; but there aren't a ton of TB12/Gronk/Amendola+Edelman in the world, let alone in college.

Hopefully we'll have more explosive plays than last year. We have more experienced WRs, QB, OL. Our offense should be Top-20 this year.

Except Peyton's an asshole.

Except Peyton's an asshole.

The routes weren't set up…

The routes weren't set up very well either, so from the snap, we were at a disadvantage. It seemed like our WRs had a hard time recognizing where the open space was and working back to the passer once he leaves the pocket.

They make it look so easy in the NFL, with KC, NE, NO easily finding open WRs almost every play, whether it's a 2 step drop or a 7 seconds to release. It's amazing how smart the WRs are, and how they are always on the same page with the QB.

Cowan and Fernando are big…

Cowan and Fernando are big time players for Maryland. Not much supporting cast for them, similar to Modern and Langford for IU and Cline and Edwards at Purdue.

All 3 teams are even in my eyes, not sure why so many think Maryland is way inferior to the other two.

Most disappointing maybe IU because of their injuries and not winning on the road.

Most overachieving maybe Rutgers. Who thought they'd beat osu.

About to plummet is osu they are losing and don't have enough scorers to compete with the big boys.

About to go on a run maybe IU since they finally got their PG back.

The league is clearly Michigan vs msu. Nobody else has the depth and scoring to keep up. IU is the closest despite losing @Maryland.
