I remember also when I would stay up all night drinking. I usually bought random things from Amazon but if you rather post in your favorite blog, by all means then.

Novell would be great

he took Memphis to their first conference championship game. he could get a HC job in a lot of spots and was offered such. But he also just signed a big extension as well.

And don't believe I have enough alcohol to watch all of this. I'm hoping for a win, but not holding my breath.

welp, I'll be in town from Memphis that weekend to visit a sick father.  I'm surprising my youngest son with tickets to the game since he has been an insane trooper with high-miles and many hours in a hospital.  Under the lights, cold and rain? Sounds like the recipe to memories if you ask me!!

but I'll have ziplocks ready, rain gear and an extra layer of clothes prepared.

Thank you WD. Whether it is because work being work costing me the AF game or a family emergency (fuck cancer) keeping me away from Purdue, I really look forward to your cliff-notes version.

UT leads GT in blue chip athletes (4-5*) by 32 - 2.

Thirty-two to TWO.

Brady sure knows how to coach-down a player or at the very least manage to collect all the overrated players.

They are the reigning week one champs afterall.

Can that be done watching online or through their app?

One can't judge a

One can't judge a cord-cutting experience based on one shitty company's app.

For those cutting the cord, ya' have to keep your options open and know what works.  ESPN app doesn't work? Go to option B or C.  For a lot of people poo-poo'ing cutting the cord, I suspect that they don't want to have to check option B or C.  There's nothing wrong with that.  It boils down to money vs B/C.

In four to five years I have not missed a cfb or pro football game that I've wanted to watch.  Also in those three years I have developed many, consistent options.  That being said, it was very rough during the Stanley Cup.  I've since acquired a great option.

One thing I quickly didn't see anyone mention is a paid IPTV service.  I am going to test run a well reviewed one this weekend.  But who can argue $12/mo for way more channels then one would need?  Or $8.50/mo for sports?

thank you for updating

Im debating about skipping work from Memphis to capitalize on the cheap tickets. thanks for the tip, if I do Ill BYOG in several 5gal gas containers in bed if truck.

Jersey is ok

but please, God please. No maize pants.

I'm  a big fan of IOTA as

I'm  a big fan of IOTA as well, it is a large portion of my holdings.  Monero is probably the one I am most excited about.  Yes, for ulterior motives. While I know about and have been to the darkweb it is that area that I think will truly accelerate monero.  'Regular' businesses will use Monero as well, but it was the darkweb that got btc running and ai believe will give XMR a good push.  The trading in asia that is opening up soon certainly has boosted it nicely today.

I appreciate it.  You're

I appreciate it.  You're right, I could talk crypto with other people into it.  My reason was hoping to get input from people not trying to shill their coins or pump up price before dumping.  I also had an idea of the kind of reaction this post would get but was curious as well. Some have known of bitcoin while some have only recently heard of it but could not say anything about it.

It was actually a post on MGoBlog about buying silver and gold with various sites etc that really helped open my eyes again to what I thought was something that was out of reach for me.

you will love the possibilities

of having a smoker. I recently got a nice electric one last year from the kids. salmon, bologna log, chicken wings (out of smoker or quick dip in oil for that crispy shell) have all turned out good. I can say I've mastered a ham and it is often requested at work (fire station). I'm close to getting really good dry ribs. One HUGE tip is to make your liquid container with half Jack (honey even) and half water. it adds a whole new great dynamic. For example, great smoked salmon and every few bites or so a good hint of whiskey in it.

maybe next

So yea, I'm jealous.  I have

So yea, I'm jealous.  I have a post further down about a Romeo y Julieta tubo that I had years ago.  Did they changes the tubes recently?  I had one about 12 years ago and I thought it was a no. 2 tubo, but the pictures definitely not it.  I would consider ordering it as it has been hands down my favorite all time smoke, but things aren't looking familiar.

Yes, GREAT thread choice.

I have really taken a liking to a La Flor Dominicana  which has been a very good, smooth smoke for me.   It is easily my most reffered stick recently.

A smoke that has always held a special spot because of the friend I would always smoke one with and the flavor is a Gurkha Grand Reserve.  It is cognac infused, has a great, somewhat sweet taste and is probably the one I get the most compliments of just from the smoke smell.

The Macanudo Court tube is also a regular in my rotation.

But, probably by far hands down the absolute BEST cigar that I have ever had was a Romeo y Juliet tubo from Cuba. I can't find the tube that it came in to narrow it down.  But it was the best peppery flavor, smooth smoked cigar I've ever had.  I was looking for roach clips at the end so I could smoke every last bit of it.  Alas, I haven't had one since and the ones I can buy in the B&M stores just don't compare.  I've been chasing that one for over 12 years.

Those are my consistent smokes.  I am up to try random, new, suggested cigars when at the store.  I have a collection of bands that I've glued to a board.  Sometimes I'm diligent on taking notes on which I like or not and other times I trust my memory which of course fails over time.

the area has been

insane. they even had 18,000 people (I was told) outside the stadium for the last game. With the wings out entirely, *I've been following the Preds and full on the hype-train. If the schedule allows a few of us are going to make the 2.5hr trip and take on the excitement.

nice!

going to settle for a Butt jersey here

I've had a dilute test

at work. I drank so much water that day that I was peeing clear BEFORE it was my turn to leave a sample. "Negative dilute" was the result. negative for the drugs tested, dilute for whatever they check within the urine itself. fwiw Ive never done anything that would show up anyway (general test at least, minor cold medicine that pro sports have to watch)

Black Sails

It's aired on Starz and I'm catching it on Kodi.  I'm only into the first season, have heard great things about it and I'm getting to that point.  Really, what's not to like about pirates and violence?

cut the chord and not looking back

I booted cable about 3years ago. The only true downside is no DVR. With cable logins I've never missed a game I wanted to watch. I'm also looking into an IPTV service, roughly $10/mo and TONS of channels. More can be said about streaming shows after they have aired, there are plenty of great options.

Ill be working, hoping to get off the ambulance and onto the engine by kickoff (greater chance of seeing the game as well). DVR will be set, son coming by to watch game with me. Food? Yes. anything unique and special? probably not.

often. anytime there is a big announcement or game or news tidbit, this is constantly a note that the server is up.

Outside of the neanderthal

Outside of the neanderthal fan which is often inbred in ohio, my experiences have been quite good.  There are only about three buckeye fans that check their heart at the door for the sake of a legitimate discussion.  Each and every one of them admit the better team didn't win, that they're not certain about the spot (but we both agree that the video footage provided during the game wasn't enough to overturn it.  They are also suprised that a referee that wasn't allowed to ref the 2006 game was allowed to ref this game.  They even laughed at the obsurdity of it.  We both agreed that if a player makes mistakes (INT's, missed FGs) that is part of the game, missed calls and questionable spots should NOT be the deciding factors.  They did notice how our defence is great, but tired in the OT.

Now, the other inbreds that I know? Their comments are similar to "You suck because you smell. 11 out of 12.  baaaahhhhh.. screw the series and history, last decade baby!"  I hate those fans as do many, MANY of the other SEC fans I know.

Friends without a dog in the hunt revelled in The Game at how good it was.  They commented about what a hard, smash-mouth football game it was and how they truly enjoyed it.

I also wanted more than

I also wanted more than anything, more than the gloating and bragging rights, for the seniors to leave the field with a win over ohio.  I looked forward to the ones who are quick to spew crap to be silenced, waiting for me to do the same but not stoop to their level.

right in the feels

I wish there was something I could do from here to help him win. hell, to help all of the seniors win.

+1

beat me to it.
