Doesn’t really matter if he’s right or wrong.

Osu has better qb play and has since 2000 hence the record. From Troy Smith to Terell Pryor, to hit Barrett they’ve been significantly better than whom ever we put at qb. We’ve traded the better defense or better recovers/running backs. It all been qb play. Until we get a qb that can make plays in big games, get first downs when they matter and not overthrow wide open touchdowns against ranked opponents we aren’t going to beat them. They’ve also out recruited us every year and that doesn’t help in general. Someday we’ll have a good qb, hoping it’s this year but I won’t hold my breath because going to their house and winning this year will take a miracle.

MJ all day

Lebron James is such a selfish player. He never improves the people around him which is why he’s 3-5 in the finals. Instead of trying to do everything maybe try using your teammates. MJ was incredibly skilled and could do it all but the thing that made him better than lebron was how he used his teammates and made them so much better. That’s also why he never lost in the finals. Player sthat improver teammates always prevail. Lebron is also a selfish asshole OSU fan, I just can’t be a fan of someone who jumps teams and makes an entire ESPN special about it. What a selfish asshat.

Couldn’t care less about Patterson

Joe Milton will start over Patterson, Mccaffery and Peters. Milton is legit and just has to learn the offense. Bank it!

This game has gotten out of control

Every year Osu has better o linemen, d linemen, and superior qb play. They get up for big games, we don’t. I think Harbaugh will have to strap on the fucking iron jock after all the media pressure he’s gonna get after losing to Ohio state and being 1-5 vs rivals. Maybe if he spent less time jumping in the pool in his street clothes or sleeping over at recruits houses we’d be able to pick up a blitz or actually pass block. This game is not even fun to watch anymore. Osu will destroy us.

It’s not a rivalry anymore

I get that everyone says it goes in swings and we dominated the 80s and 90s. But those games Osu was always really competitive we just made more plays in the tight games. From 2001 to 2016 there’s been about 6 games out of the 13 losses we had. The other 7 loses we looked like a jv team out there as Osu played the second string the whole second half. This game is out of control and it’s not getting any better. They have the number one recruiting class for like the 9 millionth time in a row as we have a 25th ranked one or whatever it is. They always have better o linemen and d linemen and they have superior qb play every year. To be honest it’s not even fun to watch anymore.

Everybody loves to hate Michigan

We’re like the Yankees. I think a lot of these crazy expectations are because Harbaugh is in the media spotlight all the time (a lot of it is his own doing). Jumping in the pool with his street clothes on, sending the team on ridiculous trips to Rome, sleeping over at recruits houses etc. He’s also the highest paid coach in college football so is it that unreasonable to expect he could beat MSU who has sub par talent compared to us the last 3-4 years, or beat Ohio State who’s supposed to be your season. I trust in Harbaugh but his antics need to stop and he needs to focus on football and that’s it. Non of his weird ass shit matters if you win but right now he’s the laughing stock of college coaches and the media pressure is well deserved. Maybe Harbaugh needs to strap on the fucking iron jock.

I doubt it.

Road games against Notre Dame, MSU, and Ohio State. He’s gonna lose all three. Will you be happy with 3 losses or more next year?

Next year the schedule is

Ten times harder than this year. Road games against Notre Dame, MSU, and Ohio State we could easily lose lava of them. Look at some of the other teams in the county. Auburn beats Alabama every once in a while even when they’re bad, Notre Dame beats usc sometimes even when they’re bad etc. we shit the bed every year vs our rivals. The gap between Osu and us is out of control and I don’t see us beating them for a long while. It’s not a rivalry anymore. 2-14 since 2001 is something that should never happen. If harbaugh doesn’t beat MSU or Ohio State ok the road next year than he’s gone mark my words.

It’s not going to get easier either.

We have road games against Notre Dame, MSU, and Ohio State next year. Easily could lose all three. Unless qb play and offensive line play improves a lot we’re in for another 8-4, 7-5 type year in 2018.

What

What has Wisconsin proved to anyone that they are “good”, other than beating al the garbage teams they have played that’s it. If Michigan played Rutgers and Minnesota caliber teams every game we’d be 9-0 too. I think we will beat Wisconsin because they are a mirror image of us except our defense is better. As for Ohio State they’ve been curb stomped when they played the only “good” teams on their schedule too. Oklahoma smoked them at the shoe and when they had to playa tough road game vs Iowa they shit the bed. So in my opinion the Ohio state game will be a war and it will come down to who wants it more. We’ve got them at the big house and I think their offense is better than ours, but our defense is better than theirs. I think the breaks go our way this year and we get a close win.

Possible

4 way tie assuming OUS beats MSU and we beat OSU. As long as all others involved win the rest of their games it would be a 4 way tie, between Penn State, OSU, MSU, and us with every team holding at least one head to head win against one of the four.

Seems like this is speculation

Unless you have proof that Peters basically quit once he didn’t get the starting job in fall camp or something to back up all the things you’ve said then it’s all just opinion and rumors. I doubt he has an attitude that bad or he would have never gotten playing time in the spring game or any reps in fall camp.

What a joke

They’re 6-7 in white out games so the white out really doesn’t intimidate anyone. They barely beat Iowa and Saquon Barkley rushed for a whopping 56 yards on 23 carries against a bad Indiana defense. We will smash them in their house just like we did in 1997. Penn State isn’t that good and the media just hates Michigan until they prove everyone wrong.

He was down

Left knee was down and the ball is a few inches short. Get over it, the lions had their chances and they couldn’t capitalize. Stop grasping for the refs to help you out. Golden Tate was down no touchdown and the runoff rule has been in effect for a while. Throw the ball in the endzone next time or run the ball like good teams do.

Nope

Nipe

That’s not holding

Inside of five yards anything is fair game. Lions had their chances and couldn’t capitalize. 1st and goal from the 1 and they call three straight passes. Wtf run the ball at least once.

Wilton Speight

According to his Wikipedia page Wilton Speight had a severe collar bone injury which required a metal plate and screws to repair. Not sure which collar bone but if it was the same shoulder he injured last year he may have re injured an injury from high school. Let's al give Wilton some credit for being a warrior who plays through injury and has been a pretty damn good leader.

Not really that surprised.

Most of the experts/haters are kind of right. We hadn't really faced many good offenses. Colorado smoked us in the first quarter and most of the second but they're qb got injured. MSU lined up and punched us in the mouth. Road games are tough and I thought Michigans defense dug their heels in when they had to. It's a good road win, the last touchdown was given to them by the refs. Seriously who throws a pi, when the team is down by 13 with 45 seconds to play what a joke. Our defense is legit they just played a little bit sloppy today, it happens not worried at all.

Devin

Devin is a great person but he wasn't that great against elite high school competition (see his state championship games vs Lowell and vs East Grand Rapids.) so I don't really understand why people are saying he could have should have. He's a hell of an athlete but just not the greatest QB especially in a spread. I think RR just needed a QB so bad he just went all out to get him thinking he could turn the sows ear into the silk purse.

Absolutely

No way they have better facilities than us at Mississippi state.

The worst memory I have of that game

OSU lines up extremely quick on a 3rd and inches and Michigan D isn't ready (kind of like the shit that goes on with our D now under Mattison).  I remember saying to the rest of the people watching in the room they're going deep here and BAM, Troy Smith hits Ted Ginn on a play action for 6.  We were out coached and outschemed.  FWIW saying that Shawn Crables hit woud have won us the game is moronic.  1. If the penalty doesn't happen OSU would have kicked a field goal, or gone for it on 4th down (probably the ladder because our d couldnt stop anyone that night), 2. Who knows if we would have scored the touchdown after that because OSU would have schemed differently on defense with a 1 score lead vs a 2 score lead like they had 95 percent of the game.

Guarentees

Are good because they get everyone fired up to make good on them. Anyone who thinks there bad just look at Jim Tressell in 2001 how did that work out when he said what his team would do to us at the Big House. Devin is the man and will lead us to victory against OSU this year and years to come, and when Deshaun Hand commits and we get the #1 and 2 recruits in the nation watch out.

Thanks

Thanks for Desmond, Charles, and Brady. That's what Ohio means to me lol.

Maybe

this is the title game the BCS needs to be forced to play.  Then they can scrap the BCS and get a playoff because nobody would attend a title game of Boise State vs TCU it would get horrbile ratings and be horrible in general.  So with that being said I hope the title game is two no AQ teams to put up closer to getting rid of the BCS!

I agree but

Say what you will about Indiana, but this team played a great game at home and credit needs to be given when its due.  Chappell is also looking like a first or second round draft pick in the NFL so we won a hell of a shootout against an NFL quarterback with 3 WR that will probably also play on Sunday.  Was our defense bad, yes, but the fact that Indiana passed the ball 64 times, any defense is gonna give up some yardage/big plays so I take this all in as a win and were 5-0 going back home to face prolly one of the best MSU teams since the 1999 team with Saban at the helm and Charles Rodgers at WR.

Robbed

Its pretty bad to rob a team like that when it clearly was a catch, especiall a team that needs any win it can get after the last two seasons of a combined 2-30 record.

True freshman

I know how astonshing it is to hear so many true freshman are going to be seeing the field at corner, but I have a good feeling that at least one of these guys as well as JT Floyd will be pretty damn good this season.  Remember playing corner is mostly about having speed to stay with guys and having instinct and the will to make plays and be physical.  Just because they are true freshman means nothing about there desire and physical ability. This is why I'm not very worried about the secondary this year.  Plus an awesome pass rush and the ability to stop the run take a lot of pressure off the secondary because the safeties wont feel like they have to come up and help stop the run everytime and get smoked by play action.

I agree

I like RR statement we'll beat them when were better than them, but if the better team one every game then 95 OSU, 96 OSU and 69 OSU would have never happened and they are some of the best victories in our history.

I didn't

say it was. I just said it may be. I would not help his cause, or douse the flame breath of alumni to be 0-3 vs OSU.

I agree

to an extent. If you buy a used car thats 1-2 years old you might pay 10-15 thousand dollars vs 15-20 thousand dollars. If you have cash your mentallity makes sense but if your financing like 99% of people whats another 5 thousand dollars to spend when your making payments every month. You get the warranty this way and you know all the work that has been done from day 1. I dont understand your definition of a "luxury purchase", if you need a car and want something that will last buying a new car vs used is not a luxury purchase. A luxury purchase is like buying a ferrari to drive five miles to work rather than buying a ford taurus. Banking 5000 dollars is a good idea to an extent but if you get a lemon like I described before where the last guy drove it like he stole it and you need something like a new transmisson, rear end, front end, or serious engine work of any type you will dump that 5000 into the car faster than you think.

GM sucks

Go back and look at all the recalls they've had on numerous vehicles. They have tons of issues and they just keep making more and more shitty cars. I swear they make shit that is suspect and they have the mentality like if enough people complain we'll just put out a recall. I as well as my family members have owned several chevys and they were shit, so I would never buy one IMO buy either a Ford or Nissan, Toyota, Honda, or Mazda. The foreign car companies have their shit together and if there is ever a problem in any way with a car you purchase from them they go out of there way to make it right because they value the CUSTOMER! GM IS SHIT!!!!!

Not True

I will never purchase a used car because of the idiots that have no idea about car maintenance. If you by used you probably have about a 1-3 chance that it will be a POS off lease that the last guy skipped 2 oil changes and drove it like he stole it. Its too easy for dealers to put band-aids on problems that will hold out just until the warranty expires. IMO buy a new vehicle every time because then you have the warranty for the first so many miles based on the vehicle and if you do all the scheduled maintenance yourself the vehicle will last 200,000 plus miles.

94 at Notre Dame, and 97 OSU game

The final drive of the 1994 Notre Dame game was some of the best play calling and execution Ive ever seen from a Michigan team. The 97 OSU game was just everything coming together for hands down the best team in the nation that year. I would have loved to see us beat the shit out of Nebraska and there illegal kickers in every aspect of the game.

The Best

player in Michigan is Devin Gardner, and hes not wearing spartan colors so as long as we get players like Gardner to come here and not go to MSU honestly who cares about the other in state players going to MSU. How many players can MSU get from Florida or California, last time I checked we had 5 or six combined from the two states.

Progress

I think he will progress this year but I also still see him splitting time with D-Rob, and depending on how good Devin is Devin may see some time as well. I just don't see how he can leave someone as fast a shoelace and as big and fast as D-Rob on the bench. Tate will be better in terms or turnover ratio and his pass completion percentage should be in the 65 to 70% range, and when it does improve along with the offensive line and the defensive secondary not giving up deep balls all the time the wins will go up as well.

Remember

Your only really getting 1 or 2 home games against good opponents. MSU and maybe UConn the opening game. No OSU, PSU, or ND so I wouldint even offer him 750 I might say 500 dollars or so because with only 1 rivalry game its kinda a raw deal.

No way

Just wait in a few years when their new coach gets them to a top 25 level and we have RR consistently having us in the top 25, it will be like it was in the 70s and 80s when the game either vaults us to the top 10 early or drops us out of the top 25. Plus its a really good rivalry and I really enjoy the feeling of beating them and I get so pissed when we lose. ND vs Michigan may be one of the top 10 rivalries in college football.

Heres my metaphor

Its like the car you had that always started every morning and got you from point A to point B. Then you get a new car and the car is a piece of junk that rattles and has a lot of problems. You want to get your old car back but it's already been sold or taken to the scrapyard. Lloyd Carr was the old car, RR is the new car. I love RR but I'm not old and crotchety and ornry. It's the people that say this when talking about football, "I remember when then used to line up and run off tackle 30 times a game and what the hell is a forward pass." Support the coach and wish for success like the rest of the Michigan football fans under the age of 30 who actually make noise at the Big House to make it hard for the away team to get plays off.

I also

agree with everything. I also can't see how the UCONN game is predicted as a loss. We will be playing the first game with the stadium renovation completed and Michigan will be fired up in front of 110,000 plus fans. We will beat UCONN mark it down! As for ND I see that as a close win but a win, new coach, new QB, only one big time receiver, and a running back that is just not that good. I don't see us having a problem winning all of the non conference games it's the big ten we need to improve on and I think RR will do well in the big ten next year. I see Michigan going 9-3 or 8-4 and all the controversy surrounding RR will evaporate.

Yes

But their in the same situation we are. Even if Urban Meyer went their it would take at least 2 years before they even think about a bowl again. And by that time RR will have us firing on all cylinders. I welcome challenges of good teams when we are good as well it makes the game more fun and its worth a lot more when you win those type of games.

When

We sat we support him and some of us say he has to win like 8 games or hes gone we mean that the school will fire him likely. It's not that we don't support him but the alumni will do something drastic and we have no control over that.

Why

is Vincent Smith speaking for Denard? Why Didn't Denard tell the media that Denard would be back?

I was in section 24 row 26

and 4 rows in front of me was Chris Forcier, (Tates older brother) and Tates mom. For some reason they stayed in their seats for about half of the first quarter and then then lest and never came back.

I will be in

Section 24 row 5 seat 13. These seats are the best I've had ever for a Michigan game and it is my first Michigan vs OSU game. This will be my 10th game overall and I sure hope it's memorable in a good way GO BLUE!

Also

Remember that anything can happen in college football and I mean anything. My prediction may sound strange but I see a low scoring game and in the 4th quarter we will be in a situation to tie the game with a touchdown down 14-21 with like 1:30 second left. We score the touchdown and instead of playing OSU in overtime RR goes for the win with Tate running it in, winning 22-21. The crowd goes nuts we storm the field and the stage is set for a bowl and an improved next season. GO BLUE!

I hope

Someone turns the corner this game. These games people just seem to step up and champions and legends are made. Hopefully it will be one of the cornerbacks because a pick six in this game could swing the momentum our way and that could be huge!

Unfortunately

This situation is almost exactly like last year. We have tunnell vision and think that a team that had played horrible football all year will miraculously play great against OSU. Last years team was 3-8 going into OSU and we were all like when we pull the upset it will redeem the whole season and we got dominated 42-7. How has this year changed much. We finally got our qb to "run the offense" and we've only won 2 more games than last year and our defense is worse. As much as I would love to beat OSU we have to at some point take off the Maize and Blue glasses and realize OSU could prolly run counters and misdirection plays for most of the game then play action deep or to the the tight end for a big gain just like Wisconsin did. I see us competing in the first half just like every game maybe 24-17 or so with OSU leading at half and then them exploiting every weakness lust like every other team has done in the second half. We just dont have anything but hopes and dreams going for us SORRY!

Occasionaly

The best teams stub their toe you know once every 40 or so years.

Exactly

The majority or our turnovers are deep in our own territory, so you put the defense in and expecting them to stop the opposing offense from moving the ball like 20 or less yards to the endzone when their cold is tough to do. Turnovers being kept to a minimum will help the offense stay on the field more which gives our d time to rest so they can be fresh. I don't care even if you have Mike Barwis conditioning your team the defense will get tired if their on the field 60-65% of the game like they have been in the games we lost.

I guess

were sorry that Roundtree made the smart choice and went to Big Blue. Put yourself in Roundtrees shoes and tell me your gonna choose Purdue over Michigan it's just common sense.
