Without a clear starter at QB next season and difficult schedule, year one could be a rough one. Hopefully, people hang in there and give Moore a realistic chance to succeed.
Chalk works. Michigan, Georgia, Washington and Florida State all win. That keeps Ohio State out and gives Michigan the best possible match up- either Washington or Florida State.
The problem is what happens the next time? And the time after that? Why do I think there will be a next time? Because it's human nature. If there's nothing else out there and the University still settled, Michigan looks weak. Others will see that weakness and attack it whenever possible. Michigan just emboldened the bully.
Lions - Getting a little worried on the injury front. Montgomery out, offensive line banged up, wide receiver issues (at least short term), the secondary, etc.
Still the favorite to win the division, but need to get healthier.
Pistons - Still not loving the roster construction. Limits of 3 pt shooting will still be a problem. Getting better, but still need to add pieces.
This is a really tough one. Carter is obviously very talented - no doubt about that. I think the question isn't really about what has gone down this off-season - it's what was he like during his entire time at Georgia. In other words, are his recent issues the exception or the rule with this player? NFL teams will have to trust their due diligence process to try and answer that.
As far as the Lions are concerned, I don't see them taking Carter. I don't think they are quite far along enough to roll the dice on a guy like Carter, even if their research on him says it may be worth it.
Draymond is a POS with a looong history of doing pretty shady things, but this one isn't really that bad. Sabonis grabs his leg and the force Green applies isn't all THAT much.
In my opinion, Sabonis deserves more scrutiny here for the original leg grab (and exaggeration of how bad the stomp was). I feel dirty defending Draymond, but come on, if this were a different player nobody would be making it a big deal.
Thanks for posting that link. Watched the entire game until there was 1:30 left and assumed Sparty had it won. Didn't know the comeback happened until I was watching another game and saw it on the scroll. Watching that video was too much fun!! Still would have been better live.
Was at the CMU/WMU game last weekend and they had a college kid try this exact same thing. He didn't come close to making all four and we talked about how impossible it would be to make/take all 4 in 25 seconds.
Apparently, we were wrong, lol. Congrats to that kid!
Is Seattle really a bigger draw than Detroit? Not really sure. That said, the end of that game was some of the worst officiating you will ever see. Brutal.
It's been a long time since I really cared about the outcome of a game that impacted the Lions. Was pretty frustrated after Seattle "won" that game last week.

What changed between last Tuesday and today that justifies putting OSU higher than TCU? Yes, TCU lost. But it's not like they were blown out (cough, USC, cough). They lost narrowly in OT and looked reasonable to the eye test during the game. Did that loss REALLY negatively impact their resume so much to vault OSU over them? I just don't see it. Would be ridiculous if it happened.
I'm calling BS on the last part of this post where you say "it may be the coaches know what their team can and cannot do and are calling the plays accordingly".
That's the same excuse we hear EVERY year. This is the structure of the offense. It has been for pretty much the entirely of Harbaugh's time here. It is what it is at this point.
Or maybe it's just the structure of the offense. It's been a lot of the same issues in the passing game for the entirety of Harbaugh's tenure at UM. Hard to argue with the success of the last couple of years, but the limitation in the passing game has been obvious regardless of who the QB, receivers or offensive coordinators are.

There are, however, also those who deny anything is ever wrong on the field. It's been pretty obvious all season long that there are issues in the passing game and the only happy, happy sunshine crew refused to acknowledge any of it.
That defense was playing without several players in the secondary and the offense still couldn't take advantage. The passing game is brutal in every way.

Uncle Urban isn't even going to make it through one season in the NFL, LOL. Sadly, he'll resurface somewhere a year from now, win multiple NCAA titles and will have the last laugh. So so sad on many fronts.
This. The lack of a full non conference schedule made it more difficult than usual to compare different conferences. I'm always amused in the football season when people make assumptions on teams/conferences based solely (or almost solely) on conference performance. The lack of competitive, non conference games makes it really difficult.
