I’ve been to MSU, PSU, Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin. All of them cool in their own way, except Indiana, that was a bit lame.
For those who have gone to OSU, is it worth going and was it civil enough? I want to make it there one day (maybe this year?) but some in the group have had seen or heard of too many bad experiences
Not that it should be a night game, but I thought each B1G team had to have a home B1G night game every year with the new tv deal and this one was the only one the fit the criteria with November being off limits to the rule
I just wish Dantonio was forced to stay around to witness his program go to shit even more than what it already was the last couple years. This loss today still falls on Dantonio’s shoulders for how he left the program
Brian asked the same question so I think it’s worth a discussion. Is this something that he has to assume it’s his last year bc he won’t know if the NCAA will allow another year until after the season or is it already determined
My biggest complaint about the new kickoff rule is that it's fixing what it's trying to fix. The 10 guys are still getting hit on the play, even on a fair catch.
I've been against getting rid of kickoffs, but it keeps happening and I think it will change one day. I believe that punt returns are much safer, so I'd be curious if they switched to punts only where the return team can't have more than 1 guy back to receive the ball. Then teams can onside still and it doesn't change the game a whole lot.
1. I saw a projection that had shea going late in the 1st round so I think if that’s the case he’s gone. I think he could use another year but I’d be fine with McCaffrey taking over, I think he’s the best prospect we may ever had
2. Our D-Lind is stacked. Even with Gary and chase leaving. Paye looks great, Uche, Solomon, Kemp, vilain, Dwumfour and hopefully keeping Hinton and potentially Zach Harrison
3. As long as we get a double Rutger aka a Rutgers
4. Frost. Both will be the best coaches they can ever ask for. PJ will win 7-8 games a year and Frost might be a little better at 8-9 with occasional west contention
this didn't make any sense to me, if they let it stand where only we got a penalty, then it would have been a 30 yard gain with a 10 yard holding spot foul, so a 20 yard gain. So when the add a personal foul on the other team, we just replay the down and lose the 20 yards? how does that make sense? Couldn't we just decline their penalty?
Really far out, but any advice on trying to get tickets the Wisconsin game next year in Madison? I feel like they’re going to sell out before getting to the public
I've got 2 tickets available for the SMU game. Looking for face value ($55/per).
Section 11, Row 70, Seats W6, C6
Two of the tickets are wheelchair accessible (family member in a wheelchair), no wheelchair is required, 2 chairs will be provided. Lots of room and nice to have chair backs.
And umbig11 seems to hint it is a behavioral issue not academics, so what the hell happened? Why this huge drop from being the next stud at Michigan to random Kansas juco?
I don’t understand this at all. He was the best back coming out of college a few years ago, showed some promise on his limited snaps. I understand if he wants to leave b/c there were some issues but you’d think there would be a D1 school he could go to. Ok if you don’t want to sit another year go to JUCO, but there has to be a better landing spot than that. The Kansas juco league he just joined had just projected his team to be the worst of the 8 teams in his league. It just seems strange to go from one of the best football colleges in the nation to arguably one of the very worst
We already have a H&H with UCLA and Texas lol (OK too but slightly less interesting)
I would love to go to that game at Texas, too bad we have to wait another decade before then
As for ones we don't have already booked, I'd love to see Tennessee, LSU and i wished the Florida one was H&H or even just away. I'd love to have a reason to see a game in the swamp, plus neutral site games are dumb
This is exactly the reason, the ND series has cost us Arkansas and now likely Washington. Looking forward maybe even Oklahoma or Texas too. But if you think we're gonna have back to back home games against ND, think again. We're canceling an away game so we can schedule an away game at ND

I was gonna ask the same thing, I refuse to pay for the shitty service the BTN+ provides

Love it, just raw passion!
Great job staying sober, hope your health continues to get better! The blog, podcasts are so much better where you’re involved.

I thought the rule was at least one B1G night game each year. Is it now just have at least one against any team?
I don’t get all the fuss. If the change wasn’t pointed out, how long would it take to notice the slight change?

hailtv.com always has it, but for this one the 2nd half is messed up for some reason. The screen just melts
Haha Franklin is a dumb ass
Hawkeyes now control their own destiny for the B1G West. Good start against PSU too, getting a few lucky bounces

I’m guessing he’s played 4 games and doesn’t want to play any more so he keeps his redshirt
edit: nvm he redshirted last year
Just announced as noon kick
would have been great if both guys got kicked out for targeting

12 day notice for night game
6 day notice on noon/3:30
It’ll be announced around noon on Monday
Agreed, i like higdon a lot better, but he's not getting nearly the same hype
I really don’t think that’s realistic, especially 4 together. The lowest I’ve seen is pairs for $250
Exactly, doesn't even need to be amazing, just above average and the defense will win us games

I guess I’m the only one... but I think under the lights, at Notre Dame with their chrome golden domers, it could look pretty cool.
And as I think we all know, it shouldn’t matter what we think but what the players and future recruits think are cool
We really need you at more games, step it up for the team and get to the shoe this year
Day is the current (temp) head coach of OSU

Bigger worry is the amazing defensive talent that will go pro. Half of the Dline and secondary are seniors and Gary, Hudson, bush, and hill are ek
Good point
