Yeah I have two girls playing travel softball in NC. Cost for the team fee for one season (Jan-June) is $1,500 each. Same for the fall season (Jul-Nov). Then $500 Bats, $300 fielding gloves, cleats, helmets, masks, bags, uniform costs, gate fees, etc.
Plus, one is a catcher, another $400-500 glove and a thousand for the gear. Then you've got individual coach fees (hitting coach/cages, pitching coach, camps, etc.) Then all the travel costs to get them to the tournaments. It's pretty nuts.

Depending on what field of engineering you are looking for, you could jump in to inductive automation free online training for Ignition. It's programmed in Python 2.5, which is referred to as Jython. Can teach you some SQL and introduce you to PLCs as well.
The majority (60+%) of gun deaths in the US are suicides. By per capita numbers, the US is in the 20s in gun deaths overall (even counting suicides) but 2nd overall in suicides alone. Mental health in this country is a big concern.
@UMProud, I own an industrial automation & engineering integration company. Our industry is hit hard with a shortage of quality engineering candidates. For example, we just offered a senior engineering candidate, in our field, a 160k salary with full benefits, minimal travel, work from home, etc. This same person would have garnered around a 130k offer a year or two ago.
We are, however, booming with request for proposals for new robotics projects to fill the workforce void. One of our largest automotive customers (pays very well for low skill operator positions) has over 100 open requisitions they can't fill. So, they fill some positions with automation and move the operator somewhere else. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Prior to this Covid isolation, I preferred dungeon crawler solo RPG games. Now I primarily play fast paced group/squad games to have some fun interaction with friends and family. I play a lot of Fortnite, COD: Warzone, and on mobile I play Mobile Legends Bang-Bang (League of Legends knockoff). I still work from home all day, so game time is not what I'd like it to be!
I was the sickest I have ever been in January, here in NC. Fever and exhaustion for days. Still have a heavy feeling on my lungs. I had pneumonia a few years ago, so my lungs always feel heavy after I'm sick. Thought it was the flu, on the third day of misery I went to the doctor's office. Tested negative for Flu A & B. Was told "it appears to be some nasty virus, stuff is going around." Two of my three kids had it first and I got it from them. No idea if it was Covid but it 100% was not the flu.
Tis an awesome couple of books. The third book has been complete for years. He doesn't release it similar to why GRRM hasn't released the next GOT book. The anticipation drums up revenue, plus now a movie and Showtime series are in the works for Rothfuss. He'll release the third book eventually but probably not until every dime is milked out.
