Then went with demeco Ryan’s to Texans when he was hired from dc at 49ers to head coach at Texans. This is an excellent hire. My guess is he views this as a fast track to DC type role after wink leaves.
There was a 3rd and 5 where MIkey slows WR down with his fingertips long enough for him to engage and bring him down with his other hand. The opposite of the DJ turner tackle attempt against TCU wr last year. Unsung moment in the game.
I am amazed by comparatively how easy OSU schedule is. I'm sure the media will gripe about their non conference as well. In terms of the upper echelon teams, they only play Us (obviously), Oregon and PSU. No Washington, or USC (should be much improved on defense with new staff).

We have had some very nice RB recruits imo. Corum, Edwards, charbonnet even. Marshall is Mr. Ohio and elite recruit in my eyes. Our NIL probably holds us back a bit with the 5* RBs just like with other positions, but there aren’t that many of them.
People keep freaking out about the draw but I mean I never expected for fsu to get in. I was prepping for Bama, Texas, and washington. People keep freaking out about Milroe legs but penix and ewers are very talented qbs too who threaten the secondary far more than even Osu given how aggressive their coaches are at playcalling.
What a change a few years makes. Talking now about sexy or not wins against osu. We would have just been ecstatic to win in any shape or form for years.
I think at some point you guys should discuss why Michigan may not be using PA as often as you think. It’s not really a highly advanced or novel concept to run PA. Is it related to pass protection? Do they perceive the benefit to be less than you guys? Do they prefer to have JJ pass in organic pass situations? Just feels like banging head about lack of PA was ok for a week or so but probably not gonna happen at this point.
Michigan RBs went for 5.5 YPC on high volume. Many of those were in obvious run environments given what we were doing. By far, our best rushing game of season.
Brian was the only person who was appropriately dismissive of msu. They have 0 players who would start on Michigan! 0!!! Attempts by everyone else to legitimize them were so forced and bleak.
I suppose contrarian is harsh but in any event I think it’s subjective when you are on the margins of terrible. If a team has 1 even all big ten caliber player, they are terrible. If they can muster putting together a good quarter and that is pretty much what people expected, they are terrible. I do remember you having contrarian takes on caleb Houstan and I’ll give credit to you there.

Seth and Brian strongly disagree with this take. They have consistently been very lukewarm about him. I fall somewhere in the middle and think that he fits very well in our scheme and is a plus big ten defender for sure.
Craigs repeated desperate attempts to build up indiana was truly Bizzare. They are horrendous and the spread reflects that. It’s effectively like playing a mid tier mac team.
I will not tolerate any denard slander. He was one of the only bright spots on bleak Michigan teams both in terms of his on field product and his attitude.
By that metric, how many nfl corners are in CFB right now? I think somewhere in the 30s are drafted annually with a substantial chunk of those not sticking on rosters.
I suspect that jones is working through some personal things. There had been some concerns about how he was doing and I wonder if that is playing a role.

I have heard mason graham has an injury that will require surgery and a club on his hand. Anyone else hear this? My guess is he will be out for a few weeks before he is cleared to play with the club.
Walker was heavily recruited by many top programs as a CB. I think he wanted to play wr and he is getting a chance there too. I view him as a different case entirely from Mikey.

It’s looking like 4 of them will have transfer qb…will Howard, will Rogers, Dillon Gabriel. No idea about ucla.
