Actually, they did play better with him on the bench at times. All of the time, no. It was evident at times though. They seemed better without Jett as well. Go back and watch tape if you need examples. No disrespect to either guy, but they will be a better team without him and Jett this year and it's already showing.

I understand the paycheck aspect of it but why wouldn't guys like Houstan and Diabate want to come back for another year of improvement? The paycheck has the potential to double if they improve. The attrition in college basketball is amazing. Do these kids just not want to work? Just seems so illogical to me. You'd think another year of being big man on campus and talked about country wide would be more appealing than being an afterthought for the next bunch of years and possibly never mentioned again. I know $$ talks but the reward could be so much greater another year from now.
Seems like he's not confident enough to improve in college after another year to solidify his draft stock. If he is what he is, he might as well leave now and take the paycheck. If a team is locked in on him now, why would they want him after another unproven and mediocre year in college. Leaving now seems like the best move he can make if he doesn't have faith that he'll improve.
Depends on what you consider a “bad decision”. What makes Iggy, Mo, Stauskas or DJ’s decision the right decision? Just a contract or actual success at the NBA level? Not trying to make an argument of it. Just looking for justification of success.
As a resident of Central Wisconsin, I completely endorse this post. For me, Wisconsin is my second most hated rival with msu close behind. I really can't stand Wisconsin fans and their "we're so disrespected and underrated..." when they've never won anything outside of a conference championship in the weakest division in a college football conference. They hang their pride hats on Russel Wilson and JJ Watt like they are homegrown Wisconsin products.
I was 12 years old when we were introduced to Juwan Howard. It feels surreal that my 12 year old now calls him "Coach Howard". Juwan Howard will go down as one of the greatest Michigan Men of all time. I guarantee it!

They're still bringing in a team from Wisconsin on Saturday. I'd think that would be more of a concern if we are going the route of criticizing the schedule and not playing games due to Covid.
OT but this many years later I still question why Jabrill was sent up to the press box when he was allegedly the teams biggest cheer leader. Whether it was coaches decision or the players, wouldn't you want a guy like that (your defensive leader) on the sideline for the bowl game?! Though I heard he was sent up so he wasn't a distraction?! Harbaugh's fire is gone. I don't think his players are afraid of him as a coach. The worst thing I ever did was watch All Or Nothing on Amazon Prime. Completely changed my perspective of Coach Harbaugh. Love the guy so I won't crush him but I've lost the ability to defend him.

Speaking of haunting- I live in Wisconsin. The Bucks drafted DJ high last year and he is a major bust... Huge Bust. This year they draft Dante and it seems like there’s actual potential there. It’s been really hard for me to enjoy their hot start.
Listening to the crowd reaction in the background usually tells you more about the game than Brandy does. Brandy is a great guy, just not the right gig for him. I like Dierdorf though. Sometimes, I think even he gets frustrated with Brandy.

We beat osu and msu in the same season, I don’t care about anything Michigan football until the games are played. Why set ourselves up for disappointment? Harbs needs to prove his worth. We are a blue blood basketball school now.
Central Wisconsin. Cost a of living is reasonable. Short driving distance from a few major cities. Really laid back and a great place to raise kids. Winters suck. Summers are great. Having a cabin in the north woods is a bonus. I hate the Badgers and their whiney, “they don’t give us any respect” fans but Lambeau Field is only an hour away to make up for it. I don’t miss a M game in Minneapolis which is another bonus.
I would have to agree with the last paragraph of your post. The B10 can’t eliminate their best shot at the final four. I live in central Wisconsin so this week has been hell for me. Just Win. Make my Thanksgiving week with friends and fam that much better please.
Tired of hearing the locals cry about the Badgers not getting any respect. The conference opponents that Michigan has lost to, Wisconsin doesn’t even play this year. Their toughest opponent to date is Iowa @ home and people point out how ‘soft’ Michigan’s sched is. Sick of the Badgers. I hate living in the state this time of year. Just beat them down and when Peters overcomes the hostile environment at Camp Randall he will gain the much needed confidence that he needs for Oct. 25.

the fact that msu had the lead for 0 minutes in their 'victories' vs Michigan and osu, and then they get throttled in the playoff game they earned... I think it's fair to say this team was severely overrated. Had luck not been their best player, they would be in the Citrus Bowl.

It's a little more than them making 3s and us not. Looked like a complete lack of effort out there from a few guys. Our post players looked like they had never played an American basketball game before. The team in while looked confused and was out hustled the entire game. They didn't get beat. They just didn't show up.
At the game last year as well. Being from Wisconsin, my heart was ripped from my chest. After that emotionally draining roller coaster, I couldn't do it again this year. I dream of the Kohl center burning to the ground with Bo Ryan and Ben Brust tripping over each other trying to escape.
Nowadays, most seniors are the 2nd rate players that weren't good enough to leave early... Doubt a guy just being a senior puts fear into NBA scouts. You'd think THJr could possibly benefit from a Sr season especially since his draft stock has 'peaked' as a 2nd rounder. Good Luck anyway.
