If you're holding a ball and I hit it out of your hand, you will be the one to touch it last every single time under close examination. Why? Because you were holding the fucking ball.
The interpretation of the rule we saw tonight makes absolutely zero sense. What a disgrace to the game.
The out of bounds call was not technically right unless were completely reinterpreting the rule. EVERY time a ball gets slapped out of a player's hand, it's going to touch his hand last. It's common sense. Taking five minutes to magnify the play and review it from every angle to see whose fingernail touched it last is not how the rule is called in any other situation. It's a joke.
