He'll be a redshirt junior,

He'll be a redshirt junior, so yeah, he'll be a senior academically.

Thanks for sharing, Don Brown

Thanks for sharing, Don Brown seems to be enjoying his new job quite a lot.

Wow, interesting. I remember

Wow, interesting. I remember reading an article about Terius's recruitment around the same time Ty Wheately Jr. first came onto the recruiting scene. I had thought that the reason I hadn't heard anything more from is because he was not attracting FBS attention, but I'm glad to see that I was wrong! Good luck to Terius, Va. Tech. is a well respected program in Michigan. =

And nobody is surprised!

And nobody is surprised! Though I think its kind of ridiclous the Baker Mayfield is #3 on the list, when he has Dede Westbrook, Samaje Perine, and Joe Mixon as weapons. Not to mention the Big 12 wouldn't know what defense was if it hit them in the face. Though I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by Mayfields placement, as previous Alabama running backs win it off the strength of their O-Line.

I mean, he originally said "I

I mean, he originally said "I wish I could do it again", so I wouldn't read into that much at all. Also, he said he would do what was best for his family (which he should), but I could see that being him leaving early to the NFL to make millions to help provide for his family a LOT easier then I could see him returning another year to try to win it all, when we lose 9 of our defensive starters (if he returned). I have no expectation for him to return, so I am excited to watch how his career unfolds regardless of his decision, though I fully expect him to enter the draft. Jabrill Peppers has certainly made a fan out of me.

Kevin Wilson IS an O-Line

Kevin Wilson IS an O-Line coach...

Purdue is actually building

Purdue is actually building new 60$ million dollar football facilities. I would hope if they are willing to do that, they would be willing to throw a few million more at the recruiting budget/coaches salary. I've included the link, if you're interested in checking it out.

Eh. They really wanted either

Eh. They really wanted either Les Miles or PJ Fleck. Both would have been big names on the recruiting trail.  We'll see how Jeff Brohm does at Purdue before I past judgement, he has a good record at WKU but I believe they are one of the better group of 5 programs.

Props to Indiana for

Props to Indiana for recogonize Tom Allen is an up and coming stud. Totally changed IU's defense without a talent upgrade. Although it's a shame to see Kevin Wilson go, who is obviously an excellent offensive coach, it''s understandable (though disappointing) if these abusive treatment of players is true. I am, however, reminded of that article posted on this board the other day about the frequency of cheating in college football. It basically said all college football coaches are put in a position where everyone cheats, and they can either cheat and hope not to get caught, or run a clean program without cheating and face the very real risk of losing your job due to how result based a coaches job is. Obviously you should never compromise a student athletes health, especially if they themselves were not willing to begin with.

It would have to be off the

It would have to be off the field stuff I would imagine, because Kevin Wilson is a hell of a coach.  It's a shame if it is truely off the field stuff for everyone involved.

Ohio State didn't score a

Ohio State didn't score a touchdown until the 4th quarter, their kicker shanked two field goals, and they had a grand total of 20 more yards then us. Please tell me how Ohio outplayed us? They got bailed out many, many times.

I don't think he banned

I don't think he banned posting articles, I think he meant don't post opinions on reffing when there are tons of threads dedicated to it already. Granted, there's not actually that much new info in this article..

I know this is a joke, but

I know this is a joke, but not at all. Ton's of people in western Michigan are MSU fans. I have to deal with it all the time.

The difference is in Ohio,

The difference is in Ohio, everyone is a fan of ONE school. In Michigan, people are either fans of Michigan OR Michigan State. As someone living in western Michigan, I can assure you there are as many MSU fans as Michigan fans out here. I'm not saying he should have been allowed to participate, I don't think he should have. But the assumed bias of an Ohio official is a lot more inherent then an Michigan official, which could go one of two ways, and if he is an MSU fan, that actually hurts us...

I'm not going to attack you

I'm not going to attack you personally JBE, and i'm sure I will not convince you, but there is proof that there was homerism amongst the refs. The officiating was bad, by anyones definition, and a string of of bad no calls/penalties IS the difference in a double OT game. I don't think the argument is about the game so much anymore, as fans wanting to publicize that the officiating was incompetent and should be upheld to a standard, just like ANYONE who has a job. Ref's are people, which mean they can be bad at their jobs.

Ref's from Ohio should not be reffing the game. A referee who was fired for not meeting the standards of BIG 10 refereeing should not be reffing the game. These aren't things that are unfixable. Have ref's from neutral states who have not attended either university or history of fandom of either university isn't really a lot to ask for. Who, in their right minds, think it's ok to have ref's from Ohio reffing the game? Regardless of whether you disagree or agree with the actual calls, that is an obvious conflict of interest.

It's fine if you don't want to engage in it, but this is a message board about Michigan football. If we embarass you, don't look at it.

But I personally would rather gripe about it in the hopes that next year we won't have ref's from Ohio reffing the game.

I think he's gone forsure.

I think he's gone forsure. Top 15 pick is about as good as a time to go as any, can't prove your way much higher honestly. I'm also pretty confident that he'll test well at the combine, so he should be assured to be a high pick.

Watch the presser, all he

Watch the presser, all he talks about is how badly officiated it was.

Yeah obviously the 4th and 1

Yeah obviously the 4th and 1 spot in double over time had zero impact on the game, you're so right! Now that you enlightened me with that nugget of info, I have realized ref's have zero impact on the game and never tip the scales, and thus all is justified!

And 0 of them are going to be

And 0 of them are going to be drafted in the first round, so thats a place you could start.

I'm sorry, but its ignorant

I'm sorry, but its ignorant to ignore how much of a factor ref's have in a game. They ARE a deciding factor, especially in a game that went to double over time. You really don't think 7 penalties for 59 yards vs 2 penalties for 6 is the difference between a win and a loss? The ref's should be held accountable to do their job, just like everyone else in this world. They certainly did not do it by my eye test.
