Totally disagree with us not being able to continue our success with our current state of recruiting. What's happening is our superior game coaching and player development both mentally and physically.
is $279. I’m sitting on 1.75 ml from years ago saving for special occasions. More reasonable is being turned onto WhistlePig Piggyback bourbon 🥃 for <$60. Surprisingly great stuff. Still loving Garrison Bros. original straight bourbon
I have a Ghost bed also. Bought at Costco maybe 6 months ago. Its good but not great. Previously had an expensive Sleep Number $3500 mattress for the trial 100 days. Really liked it alot but wife did not. Back it went. I rate the Ghost at 7-8. Sleep Number was a 9-9.5. Good luck.
When and to where did Milton transfer? I don't remember seeing anything about this and I read the blog regularly. Of course, I'm 71 years old and I can't remember shit.
I want to see John U. Bacon dig into this and tell the real story of what the fuck has happened to our program under Harbaugh. I was a hugh JH fan and really loved the Bacon books.
You've got the right idea and so does my brother. UM '79 has an 11:30 tee time with his son UI '18 with great weather. Me, UM '71 will gird my loins and watch game so I can scream at the TV along with my daughter, UM '09.
The Del Rio. Closed in the mid '70's. I think on East Liberty. Smallish bar with great sandwiches and music was mostly jazz. Best known for their Detburger (named for the owners Juli Detweiler and husband) and the hot stacked ham (shaved) and cheese on a toasted bun. I tended bar there in '73. Sara Moulton was in the kitchen back then.
Also Middle Kingdom...best Chinese food I ever had in AA. As good as any I found in Chgo. NY. or San Fran.
I live in West Palm Beach. Don’t want to live in the Keys. Totally different vibe and no serious golf in the Keys. Grew up in Chgo, college in AA, followed with 13 more years in Chgo. Have been in South Florida now for 35 years. Play golf all year round including summer. You can have those midwestern winters. I never looked back. Only thing I miss is good Chinese food & deep dish pizza. Year round golf 3 days a week makes up for most anything.
I'm going to pay attention to the science and as a result "hold onto the fear/concern". Otherwise you are just rolling the dice with your life and those close to you as your bet.
Pass on that Key West thought. 5 days is too long to spend there. If you want to include the entire Keys then that would be okay. The Keys are good for fishing, diving, relaxing on small beaches, drinking and eating the freshest seafood. I have been there at least 150 times over the last 32 years as I'm a sales rep and that is part of my territory.
Congrats! These are not bad problems to have. I’m an alum As is my daughter. Both of us out of state. Dropping her off in AA freshman year was one of the happiest and proudest moments of my life. We made it work through a few loans, a few scholarships and refinancing our home. There are scholarships out there and each year you do have to fill out the financial aid form (I called it the begging letter) and each year they did give her some money. She graduated phi beta kappa and her grad school elsewhere was fully funded. She had the time of her life in AA and obviously received a great education. It was the right decision for our family (only 1 child) However, in today’s economy it’s a more difficult decision. Good luck and Go Blue!
You guys are not getting it...this is not about med school or grad school or adult working environment. It’s about the under grad college experience which includes academic, social & athletic experiences. Think back on your individual undergrad days and all the ups and downs that helped you grow and have a ball as well
I read the article yesterday. Very informative. It’s NOT about working! It’s about the college experience. Think about it...taking nothing but (probably unsupervised) online courses and never setting foot on campus for sever years. What kind of bullshit experience is that? College (especially at Ann Arbor) was a joyous experience I will never forget.
was not all roses either. We had tremendously high expectations every year (and deservedly so) but always managed to get our hearts broken usually by a Pac 10 team. Lots of wins but no NC's.
Yes, seriously. I don't always agree with him but I like his stuff. He is intelligent and really digs into things. Makes me scratch my head and think, hey you got something there. Best of all he thinks we win today. Go Blue!
The storm is now over the Keys and its ugly. Miami Beach is getting 100 mph winds. It will head up the west coast and make landfall somewhere between Ft. Myers and Tampa (best guess). Storm surge to be a major player but keeping fingers and toes crossed for them. Power outages are appox. 450,000 in Miami-Dade county, 250,000 in Broward (Ft. Lauderdale) and 100,000 in Palm Beach County. Wife and I are well provisioned in house with food, water, ice and good booze. Stay safe & dry and always...GO BLUE!
Living in South Florida and TV is all hurricane all day today prempting games!!! Can someone tell me how to go about watching the game on my computer if possible. You can tell where my priorities are.
In Palm Beach Post article this morning Peppers'
was reported to be 5'10" & 215lbs???
Always thought he was 6' & 200-210.
Tape & scale deception somewhat common
but big difference between 5'10 & 6'.
Wonderful to hear Pretzel Bell (P-Bell) is reportedly doing well. Great memorabilia. Fabulous traditon. A loaf of hot Russian black bread, a tub of real butter and a pitcher did good things. That was before 'ludes, man.
In my day, gradutated in '71, Pizza Bob's was THE "drunk food" place and more. There were no franchise sub places then. We still go there during reunion football weekends.
I wrote a paper on the America First party for some undergrad history class about 1970. They were virulent anti-semites and isolationists. Especially their headliner Lindberg.

That was the best explanation I have ever heard
Yes he can be the sheriff if he brings his scattergun. In The Rifleman Micah Torrance proved he had balls!
New Balance 990’s for years. New Balance comes in many widths. Great shoe!

Forget about that 60 degree wedge. You already have a 58 degree. Seriously.
Forget about the 60 degree wedge as you are correct in your observations.

Can he get in playing shape seriously after all the injuries and time away from the game?
Got carried away…
Sorry.
Got carried away there.
its as simple as this: people are dying like fuck out there. Just don’t travel anywhere until it stops! Or comes VERY close to stopping. End of story.

Yes. Less frequent visitation because its now somewhat annoying instead of the joy it used to be.
Anticipaaaaaation is making me wait.... (Carly Simon)
the end of summer is a bust without 1) anticipating HTTV
2) recieving it
3) reading it
4) sending it to my daughter '09
Agree. All these negative nancys need to take their heads out of their assholes. If same shit continues next year then they may have a point.
Well said. You explained feelings in a nutshell. Not much more to be said other than what beverage to go with.
was not all roses either. We had tremendously high expectations every year (and deservedly so) but always managed to get our hearts broken usually by a Pac 10 team. Lots of wins but no NC's.
Thank you for putting it in perspective. I very badly needed to be talked off the edge. My TV has never been so badly abused.
Agree. You don't throw long to the short guy!

From all these comments is one to think nobody is giving O'Korn any chance next year?
Kiffin probably taking a pay cut to go to FAU don't you think?
And that was a surprise to you? Weather channel anyone? Internet?
How about going 9-3 and raising our spirits considerably after last year's 5-7? If that's not MEANINGFUL than YOU are MEANINGLESS...and a dickhead.
It's the thought that counts. I've lost a few brain cells over the years.
