I think if you look closely…

I think if you look closely at that page, you'll see the hierarchy. Within each of the departments, you'll find assistant directors, associate directors, associate ADs, exec senior associate ADs, etc....

By the way, it's perfectly…

By the way, it's perfectly safe to drink from the public fountains in Rome... something the city is known for actually.

Yes, but he was only 57% completions (lowest of the year) and 6.5 YPA against Notre Dame. Not saying he'll be a bum, but I think it'll affect him.

Very good summary. Advantage…

Very good summary. Advantage at QB should be magnified by McCord playing on the road in this environment for the first time.

Unfortunately I think you…

Unfortunately I think you have to add TreVeyon Henderson to your solid defense + Marvin Harrison claim. He's looked real good the last couple games (although I've admittedly only watched his highlights).

Interesting... thanks for…

Interesting... thanks for the correction. That seems a bit odd to keep projections in the model 10+ games into the season. I guess he has a good record with the performance of the model, so who am I to criticize...

This is from an old SB…

This is from an old SB Nation article on what goes into S&P+

My S&P+ projections incorporate recent performance, recent recruiting, and returning production; early in the season, they carry significant weight, and they are phased out with increasing speed. After a team has played seven games, its preseason projections are completely phased out of the S&P+ equation.

This may be true, but these…

This may be true, but these coaches are such competitors I'd be surprised if this was truly his attitude.

It does hurt me to defend him...

Good point... and I suppose…

Good point... and I suppose being a 2025 recruit, he can wait and see how it all plays out.

One consideration is the…

One consideration is the better Deion does, the more likely he is to get a "better" job elsewhere (probably not until after next year). So would Underwood be committing to Colorado, or to Deion wherever he is? Maybe that uncertainty could help Michigan, although Harbaugh has a fair amount of uncertainty as well to be honest.

Exactly. For him, this was…

Exactly. For him, this was his belief and therefore he never thought there was anything wrong with it.

And only 19 years old! Surprised me when I heard that last week.

And guess what, go ahead and…

And guess what, go ahead and take out one of those big plays if you want and we still win by two scores! Go ahead and take out two of them and we still... you get the point.

I realize taking away plays can change the game dynamic, but it's not like we squeaked by only because of the big plays.

I agree 100% with your last…

I agree 100% with your last point. Maybe TCU and USC should claim a COVID outbreak and sit out the championship games.

I for sure didn’t watch it 3 times. Well maybe.

No screens? Weren't two of our best plays of the game screens to the RBs?

Excellent article indeed…

Excellent article indeed. Thanks for posting. I'm curious when Bruce was able to get the quotes from Gattis... with the not so happy terms of Gattis leaving, I'm surprised he provided some input for a positive article on Michigan

And it only works for games…

And it only works for games on the ESPN networks, not the Fox ones.

I live in France and this is my experience as well with YTTV. Using VPN with Hulu has worked without issues. I also did a free trial with FuboTV, which worked fine with VPN but I decided to cancel and continue using my friend's Hulu account.

If FuboTV is still offering a free trial, that may be a good option for OP.

While this may be true, don…

While this may be true, don't we have a number of non-coach analysts that do much of the deep dive film reviews? I'm sure especially for an away game, there's someone on that staff that watches the game on TV. Not to mention I would hope those analysts are smart enough to pick up on tendencies that Brian and a (very good) TV commentator see pretty easily. If not, we need new analysts! I imagine part of this is also new OCs that have been successful with certain plays and haven't had a need to move off those plays.

Do you have another suggestion for an out of towner to get game tickets without being gouged?

I think this is a good…

I think this is a good comparison. For me, the primary problem with Harbaugh is beating Ohio State....that's really it. If he had 1 or 2 wins against them, I think much of the fanbase would feel completely different, myself included. Averaging 9-10 wins a year, and beating Ohio St. two out of five (I'd even take 1 of 3 at this point), would make me satisfied.

You should try living in France... geez, what a shitshow

An incredible paragraph,…

An incredible paragraph, well done:

"But they sure seemed ready. Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr has looked firmly in control of the offense since taking over for Peyton Ramsey, and the Hoosiers have erected a much higher ceiling because of it. At one point beating off 20 consecutive completions on the stiff opposition, Penix went hard into the middle of the D but worked softly around the pocket. He scrambled like a hamster on the loose, pitching a tent wherever he pleased on a unit that’s usually hard as a rock. The offensive line created enough of a bulge to allow Penix to spring free on multiple occasions, and Penix looked like he had a bone to pick all afternoon."

Wow, a bunch of 19 - 22 year olds celebrating after winning a big game in overtime... shocker. Oh, and they always go sing the fight song with the students. Lame finish to your post.

It does seem highly…

It does seem highly questionable in this case. However, I assume they account for drops and missed catchable balls, in which case his stats and QB rating in the game could have been much higher. Even so, you also need to account for the fumbles (lost or not) to get a full picture.

Maybe, but for those of us who don't have time to sit and watch hours of high school football tape, star gazing works in the aggregate as many have noted around these parts. You need elite recruiting classes with 4/5 stars to compete for national championships.

Yeah, I think I do too. I can't really decide for sure... sort of looks like Iggy is wearing an apron one way I look at it though.

I have three:

1) Original Zelda - as a kid, definitely hooked me on video games for the rest of my life.

2) Goldeneye - first experience sitting around playing with friends, taking turns on the missions.

3) Half-life (the original) - played endless hours while attending UM. I still remember being in awe at the first cut scene while traveling on the tram looking around at the different robots doing things.

Yeah, exactly. And conversely, I'd be curious to see how the "terrible" Big 12 defenses would do against non-OSU Big 10 offenses. Would they still be terrible??

I think this is a pretty good level headed summary of things. Just sit back and let the head coach do his thing, then we can start complaining again come late summer.

Probably not fair to expect him to foresee a 62-39 beatdown and Urban Meyer retirement. You should maybe just stop following/listening to Sam.
