My son went to wmu. Watched a ton of Bronco football over the last five years. He was a horrible dc and got Tim Lester fired. Have no idea how he kept his job so long and initially survived the coaching change. He was let go by wmu.

The acc is a a fourth tier conference. Horrible tv deal. Not the top conference in any sport but lacrosse. Fsu and clemson will join the sec at first opportunity. The destination should be tear down ncaa and start the fox/espn/sec heavy super conference. Its all about money and football in that order.
If you are concerned about academics, rivalries, non-revenue sports, and other nostalgic interests, staying in the big 10 has the least amount of downside.
Eventually the acc and big merge, and the sec and big 12 merge with higher payouts to the more successful football schools. 2 mega conferences. The fox and espn conferences. All power is in money and football.
Why doesn’t the BIG just merge/take over the ACC? The media partners could agree and it would be a win win until the ACC current media bad deal expires.
