Much love to everyone here - We have been together in the best of times, the worst of times, and now...we are in the championship times. OSU 2021 was the best day of my life...but CFP Championship 2024 has now taken the cake.

When we got the final stop I jumped over the couch screaming and fell on my knees crying my eyes out. I've admittedly always been an emotional person, but the amount of pure emotion that was released in that very moment is something I'll never forget.

I got a 2023 B1G Champions t-shirt from my parents!

I've been a part of this…

I've been a part of this community since Harbaugh arrived and this place has carried my Michigan fandom to this day. Growing up in Texas, there was always something so comforting about being around and interacting with fellow Michigan fans from all sorts of places, and it's crazy to think that I was a high schooler when I first joined and to this day, halfway through graduate school, I still find myself lurking around here daily and occasionally commenting. I'm eternally grateful for a site like this, and I still plan to be on this site for a whole lot longer

I'm in the same boat as you …

edit: double post oops

I'm in the same boat as you …

I'm in the same boat as you - I started sobbing and gave my dad and brother hugs after we won last year and while there wasn't as much tears this time around (mostly because we were on a road trip back home) it just felt like this year's win was the ultimate vindication. The relief and the realization that we are for real and can reach higher heights than last year was emotional indeed. I'm 22 years old and haven't experienced the glory years of this program and this rivalry, but these past couple of years showed me just how sweet it can be.

As for which win feels better? I think 2022 edges out last year solely due to the circumstances. It's in the 'Shoe, we won in a completely different manner (explosive plays vs. methodical beatdown), and most importantly, we beat them by a greater margin without the guy our entire offense is designed around. My jaw was on the floor for almost the entire second half, it was truly unbelievable what we were doing and it felt like a fever dream.

As a student at UTSA I'm…

As a student at UTSA I'm pretty excited to see that we're facing Hoke and SDSU. I'm a bit peeved that we got a pretty mediocre bowl (A soccer stadium in Frisco? Really?) for being the C-USA champs (Understandable because this conference is pretty bad) but a 12-1 vs. a 11-2 MW runner-up is gonna be fun.

As someone who lives in…

As someone who lives in Texas it's always great to see kids from here commit to Michigan. Doubly awesome that we're getting a kid from Westlake as well. Welcome, Ethan!

21 years old here, and I…

21 years old here, and I only remember 2011 when it comes to beating OSU. My dad always tells me about the golden age of Michigan football and yada yada yada and it always makes me envious because I just so happened to grow up in the dark ages of Michigan football.

It only makes this OSU victory even sweeter. Not only is it the most significant Michigan victory I've ever witnessed against an insanely talented OSU team, but it also helped send us to a B1G championship. Given that I was in Indianapolis only a couple of weeks ago and sitting in Lucas Oil Stadium pondering what it'd be like if Michigan played on the field and now it's going to be a reality, it just really makes this year special.

Hell I even broke down crying in my living room for a long ass time once Cade took that final snap. I will always remember this Michigan team as the one that snapped the streak, slayed the giant, and depending on how the rest of the season goes, gave us the most special season in my lifetime. GO BLUE!

Defense looks good, but they definitely need to clean up the chunk passing plays. Loved seeing the constant rotation of personnel throughout the game, I saw young guys like Kris Jenkins, Rod Moore, Junior Colson and Jaylen Harrell get some run which is awesome for gaining live-game experience against P5 teams. Overall a great game from Coach Mac

I grew up loving Gus Johnson calls, and while he can be a bit much I prefer his bombastic orgasms over a monotone and generic commentary. Fox is pretty bad as far as broadcasting goes, but I really like the Gus-Klatt combo

Watching the Tennessee game and rooting like hell for Joe Milton. Though things may have not worked out with him I do love watching former Michigan players in their new spot, plus it helps me get more involved with non-Michigan teams across CFB

Graduated high school from San Antonio in 2018. Our football program is pretty good in-district, but come state playoffs we always got our ass whooped. My first and final playoff game I went to, we played a team from Austin whose OL on average was a height of 6'5". Dudes made our team look like midgets.

The only players I remember who went on to play D1 ball weren't very highly regarded. Our school's most prolific kicker played at Prairie View A&M and is grad transferring to UL-Monroe. Another player I remember is a walk-on RB at Rice. Our most "accomplished" player that I remember going to my school is Oregon's starting long snapper, who I was friends with way back when.

Only went to one game this year, and I noticed our team's QB was only 5'9" lol.

It's a bit disheartening seeing my old school be only good within the confines of our city and not producing D1-tier talent while our rival, Reagan HS, can boast about being where one-time NFL QB Trevor Knight and current TAMU starting QB Kellen Mond (went to Reagan pre-IMG) went to high school.

My second choice school was…

My second choice school was at UT Austin, it’s only an hour away from my house and I wanted to go to a school in-state that could somewhat match up to UM in prestige if I didn’t get in. Got the short end of the stick and now I’m in my second year of my fourth-choice school

With my Spring Break having…

With my Spring Break having been extended a week + online classes for the rest of the semester a lot of my time has been spent continuing my dynasty with my little brother. We're in 2027 right now (4th year with Clemson, he's in his 7th year with Missouri) and the games have been really fun, even if I win like 99% of my games.

As for playbooks, I usually love playing with the playbook my OC has, but if I don't like it, I go full-on Air Raid. Texas Tech has Kingsbury's playbook which I enjoy playing as much as I enjoy watching it IRL so I usually go with that.

My dad is a big fan (he grew up in Michigan and I was born there) and growing up I used to watch all the games with him when we had the chance. Even though I grew up and started to follow M sports during the RichRod years having Denard had me glued to the screen and it made me a fan for life. Part of my father’s side are State fans and gladly I made the right choice.

2015 Peppers was used much

2015 Peppers was used much better. I recall:

- Attempted (but failed) pass

- RB carries (but failed)

- WR screen against Indiana (20ish yard gain)

- Swing pass against Rutgers (TD)

- Jet sweep(?) against MSU (beforehand caused them to call 2 timeouts, almost scored a TD when he got the ball anyways)

- Decoy play against Rutgers (resulted in a Chesson TD)

- and others I presume

Meanwhile 2016, the most creative I saw us use him was the double pass against Maryland. Don’t even get me started on the Pepcat
