My MGoWife created self watering hugelkultur beds in smallish horse troughs. She added a mix of super soil and now in year 2 we get really nice stuff. Herbs (not herb) by the house which is key, tomatoes, cuc, beans, peas, radishes and fresh lettuce which is highly underrated.
No mention of Count Twists and that crazy dipping sauce? I tried to replicate both for years and finally gave up.
Somehow ended up upstairs at Charlie’s ( yes there was an upstairs) as an 18 year old freshman after the hoops championship in 89. Watching the joyous celebration from above is one of my favorite memories in my entire life.
Sorry but this is a dumb take. 3rd generation UM with 4th generation there now and a passionate fan of all CLE teams. Truth is most front running Buckeye fans are also Pittsburgh Steeler fans. It is the worst possible combo.

Having seen him first hand when my daughter was very ill and spending a lot of time at Mott this couldn't be further from the truth. Shane was there almost every week and treated my entire family with respect and kindness. Not an ounce of entitlement. In fact he came off as the opposite of entitled. Humble and thankful for what he had.

This was still true in the late 80’s. I’ll never forget having to defend Tripp Welbourne and being dunked on by Vada Murray. Good times.
