What's a "Michigan level player"? Sounds like a bs way to deflect the blame from the coaches who have done a shitty job of preparing these kids to play.
Why do you even keep track of the players who have made bad decisions at that school? The only time I care about sparty's players is the week leading up to our game against them or when one decides to leave the program, otherwise so fuckin what?
The organization that you're calling incompetent is the same organization that has retained a mediocre QB and paid him best in league money. So yes, that decision highlights their incompetence.
Although Caldwell has the second best record as Lions HC, most people believe he should be fired for poor decision making. That's fair. BUT, while we're on the subject of replacing people, why isn't anyone mentioning relieving Stafford of his duties? Not only does he make poor in-game decisions, but he's done it for 9 years AND he has led this team into more losses than wins.
The time to start questioning the coaching staff was last week after that uninspired performance. I didn't see much improvement today on O other than an O-line that seemingly bogged down toward the end of the game.
I don't understand the gameplan or see a direction of this offense at all.

Ronnie Bell needs new cleats
Must've been talking to himself.
1 great team and 2 good teams. Indiana would beat Wisconsin THIS year.
Nonsense. Even if they aren't highly regarded, coach them up.

Tell that to Mel Tucker.
No, he's right. Talent is there, coaching is not.

"Flatly terrible play?"
The QBs and playcalling didn't leave room for much mediocre play.
Pay these players and/or allow them to capitalize on their likeness and/or allow high schoolers to go pro so we can be done with this nonsense.
"Some of those same types"

Can we get rid of shit like this from this blog, or will this continue to be weaved into our culture?
It's not like we haven't had some of those same types affiliated with our program.
I dunno about his girlfriend, But I know his dad doesn't want him to be a scrub.
Sweet if he learned/grew a lot and will have great memories of this current team.
Perhaps he's reflecting on the disappointing end to the season?
Chip and the
For how long?
Chip and the Bruins will start curbstomping people in no time.
He didn't say the defense was unacceptable. He said "we" are, meaning the whole team.
But he should stick to announcing, and abstain from stating that a player "is a guy who will play on Sundays"
Why does it matter whether or not he's complaining? This is his team, and this is a blog that allows fans to express their feelings of said team.
And goddamn, I don't think I like many of you older posters.
Whether they beat OSU or not, I want to start seeing progression from here on.

Our offense was atrocious, but at least we won.
As an alumus, fan, and paying customer, I'll boo when I damn well please.
However, I've yet to see anything worthy of booing. It's still early in the season.
