Given that he has already been an OC at Texas A&M since his stupidness, and I don't recall much complaining about him getting that job. I would be surprised if the fact that he's returning to the school where it happened raises more than a passing glance.
It seems like the only barrier is that it will require the school president's approval which sounds like a formality at this point.
If you locked Michigan St. and Iowa in a stadium and only offenses can score points (no FG's, returns or defensive TD's), and neither team could leave until somebody scored 30 points.
He's putting the tickets on his credit card so I'm guessing even if he didn't have a bunch of money, running up a credit card bill isn't unrealistic. What's the monthly payment on a credit card with about $5K balance? A few hundred bucks a month? I'm sure a single guy with no life reviewing video 16 hours a day can handle that on $55k.
I think in these initial meetings whenever they occur, there just needs to be enough doubt or lack of irrefutable evidence to delay any action that the B1G feels like it has to take. I don't know that they would ever actually do it, but in my opinion they are the bigger threat to anything impacting this season than the NCAA.
And they are doing it with a video taken from their sidelines pointed directly at our head coach and defensive coordinator which I'm sure happened by accident by no one related to their program.
You know, something actually illegal during a game.
What about the fact that their evidence of us stealing signs is literally a video taken from their sidelines directly pointed at our coaches...on a game day...while we are signaling in plays?
I'm sure OSU will say it had nothing to do with them, but aren't they responsible for the people on their sidelines with recording equipment during a game?
The whole thing is just ridiculous that it's even a topic.

And the NCAA expects the highest standards of integrity. I'm guessing no outlet even mentions this hire with any amount of controversy at all.
And Day felt nothing.
MSU actually finished with 23 less points in conference than Iowa. Not good.

How long would it take?

I don't think it would happen either, but this thing went from 0 to 100 in a hurry and if they do something knee jerk to appease people, who knows?
I wouldn't expect them to do that, but this is a B1G commissioner we're talking about.
It's obvious we had them cracked at half time and might as well share them. Clearly Deion and Harbaugh really like each other.

They should have spent the whole off season changing them again to prepare for Colorado.

PDG YEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
We Want MOOOAAAARRR!!!!!!!!
Can't remember Burke turning it over this bad ever.
When is the hockey thread starting?
Smotrycz is a foul machine and never gets a call.
Morgan looks good.
We have to double Sullinger this half. Make them hit their outside shots with tired legs.
I'd rather lose because of their shooters than watch Sullinger make three footers all game.
People blaming Beilein are clueless. Morgan a missed dunk, missed free throws, 4 straight possessions with dribbling or passing turnovers.
Those are not coaching mistakes. Guys are tired and there's no depth on this team yet.
I think we make this close if not come back and win it.
Only down 13 and played like a junior high team. Come out make some early shots and I think we can come back.
If you're gonna dribble it that much at least get to the basket. With these refs they're gonna call the foul more often than not.
Missed free throws, lazy turnovers, poor shooting cannot happen against good teams and expect to win.
If we can manage to keep this within 10-12 we'll have a chance. Shooting like garbage and Sullinger will start to cool off.
Playing tired. No legs on his jumper at all.
Fat man with football
Gave up 56 points so far and might cover the spread.
Washington.....I think you might suck.
Put this defensive nightmare out of its misery
How the hell does a BCS conference school give up 441 yards rushing?
In regulation?
With three minutes left?
In a bowl game?
And only be down four points?
This is not real football.
Good thing there aren't any at the game.
Baylor 74 - Washington 63
I don't think OT will be necessary to get there.
He should bring all his stuff, enroll and stay awhile. No need spending the extra gas money to head back.
It seems like every place he goes he has the time of his life.
