It’s reliable. Since he’s an outside hire that’s why they played it out this way and he’s waiting till Hart gets his severance before announcing. But it’s Alford he’s been the target.

trust me bro.

I don’t like Gattis… but he…

I don’t like Gattis… but he’s right. Those freshman in 2020 are the class of seniors we all love today.

… wait huh? Have they…

… wait huh? Have they watched the talent on the field in Chicago since… nvm. He’s from the NFL and we are finally filling positions. I’ll shut up.

Honestly he shouldn’t have…

Honestly he shouldn’t have hired Sherrone Moore if Moore had no idea of the members of the staff he’d be able to retain and bring in. Coach Moore is the first coach I’ve seen in a while at a program this big that wasn’t able to bring in ONE coach of his own. I’ve sat in hiring meetings for coaches at a smaller level… the staff you’re bringing is literally the second or third question in an interview. Hell it’s worst because the outgoing coach probably communicated who he’d like to take with him. This… this is unacceptable and hasn’t given Coach Moore any chance to keep things going at the same clip of the last three years.

I know I’m gone get…

I know I’m gone get downvoted for this. But I am a little uncomfortable that Coach Moore doesn’t have some contacts around college football. It seems like he’s kind of at the mercy of Harbaugh. There arent any MAC or smaller school coaches he’s familiar with or… something? I want him to succeed more than anything. I also want this program to be HIS and not just Harbaugh lite.

I hate to say it… but a lot…

I hate to say it… but a lot of the reporters that cover Michigan sports be full of shit. And are trying to put blame on Warde. I’m not a fan of Manuel at all but that story makes no sense. My opinion… Michigan won a national championship and Herbert wanted more money since (national championship and the other option is LOS FUCKING ANGELES) and Warde said “no.” Not mad at him for saying no, no coach, no coach is bigger than the block M. Next man up. It sucks for Coach Moore but you don’t get a chance to cut your teeth as a coach with a defending champion often. Ain’t seen this since Larry Coker in Miami.

Conflicted on this. Leaving…

Conflicted on this. Leaving the program while it’s under investigation says a lot about character. I know that’s not a popular opinion. Just… it bothers me. It bothers me that he played it the way he did maybe he told the kids before. Maybe he told recruits before. But we don’t know.
I am super confident that Coach Moore will do great things here. And happy he gets his shot.

Coach Grubb. Easy.

Coach Grubb. Easy.

Sad. I was looking forward…

Sad. I was looking forward to seeing most of the EMU staff from when I was there have a reunion in Seattle for the game in August. Welp. I think he does well in Alabama I think he’s a better on field coach than Saban. But… Saban does all the things off the field at a TOP TOP level. I think they gone run him out the job and he’ll learn and be scary at his next job.

We should get him for the…

We should get him for the simple reason his brother is coming. Plus he can give us good reps at Flex TE

Recruiting sites are not…

Recruiting sites are not just a site to project talent at the next level it’s also a business. A business to bring attention and ad dollars. If a kid commits early, stays committed, isn’t flashy to watch, just wins… it’s kinda hard for their ratings to stay stagnant. Not just that he’s going to a school that isn’t going to have him put up the flashy numbers to justify a higher rating honestly. He’s a gamer. We all know this. But he won’t be a 300 yard passer at Michigan. He will win games. Lots of them. He may go to the pros. But for Rivals/247/On3 sake. He doesn’t move any needle they need move. If anything they get more eyes by dropping him.

Talented kid that moves a…

Talented kid that moves a needle. Problem is... he doesn't move THE NEEDLE. In the WC last year I kept getting the sense the US needed two things... Firstly a coach... we really need a freaking competent coach. But secondly, we need a player we can lean on in lulls or tough stretches that can be relied on to bang a goal or break a defense with a pass or just dominate possession. We don't have THAT player. Once we get that player... it'll naturally make the other players around him better. Plus we've grown so much as a club in order to take that next step we need a player the European clubs fear.

A  Michigan Degree and a…

A  Michigan Degree and a Northwestern Degree for free?!?!?! Whew that's one helluva career starter. Good luck to him both on and off the field. He probably doesn't need it but still.. WOW.

Sabonis actions were just…

Sabonis actions were just out of line as Green's. Both should be suspended for a game. Sabonis grabbed at Green's legs to jerk at his ankles while he tried to run and Green retaliated by stepping on him. Both are insanely dirty players. But as a former hooper... that entire play disgusted me. Both sides.

Thing not mentioned but…

Thing not mentioned but needs to be greatly mentioned. His arms and legs might not be done growing. He sprout up 4 inches after his first varsity season. All of his male family members from his pictures look above 6 Feet. He may grow to be 6'5 or 6'5 and a half. I think Michigan has to look at his development over the next two seasons as

"TEACH HIM EVERYTHING WE CAN and see how his body adjust to a college meal plan and S&C program." CB will have to get thrown out the window if he grows too much. So he might be the most interesting Redshirt in practice. He may play every single position on the scout team except Nose Tackle LOL.

I work at Huron (well I work…

I work at Huron (well I work in all the AAPS and YCS Schools and Huron is where I frequent the most) and I was actually surprised Michigan offered him. Not because of ability because the kid can kick the ball. But simply, he would've went to Michigan and walked on regardless. Good job by Jim in bringing in a kid who loves the university. It does make me feel really old that he's going to be a college freshman.

Hookers and blow in Queens…

Hookers and blow in Queens is one helluva recruiting pitch smh. But being in NYC a lot, it would be nice to see St. Johns, The Yankees, the Mets, the Giants, the Jets (LOL), and the Knicks all being good at the same time.

The wild part about this…

The wild part about this... if Harbaugh did go off to the NFL. His boss would've had his agents reach out to Michigan in a heartbeat (just like his brother Bob did last time the Michigan job was open). Is he mad he's not recruiting Ohio with a Michigan logo on? It has to be deeper than rap? Or maybe he wanted to make the news for a tweet. The kids do love tweets.

It was a no brainer for him…

It was a no brainer for him to go. Players in his caliber at the EDGE and 5-Technique are literally a good day in Indy can make him a first rounder.

Good for him. Wish the best…

Good for him. Wish the best for him.

Figured he'd land in a good spot. We are going to see more "lower ranked" Freshmans just go to the biggest school or pay day, show they can play at the FBS and take off for greener pastures. We just got one in the kid from Nebraska

Kid probably coming back. No…

Kid probably coming back. No need to do this interview lol. Make a Instagram Post. Allow us to thank you for three great years and go make you some sweet delicious money. Blake is one of the most humble athletes I've been around. I thought he'd come back even before the knee injury. But even though I'm a huge Michigan fan/alum I still want him to go the NFL and get his moneys though.

The Defense has broken.

The Defense has broken.

They wilted under the…

They wilted under the pressure today. Go Blue. This one hurts but oh well. On to Next Season.

We need to pull our guards…

We need to pull our guards more. But simply putting, we are playing terribly and this is still a very winnable ball game.

If the SEC didn't have Nick…

If the SEC didn't have Nick Saban... would this ever be a thing?

Mike Morris being back…

Mike Morris being back signals a really really really good sign. Part of me was thinking he'd be one of the players that wouldn't have suited up in the Winged Helmet again if we had lost to Ohio State.

I love how versatile and…

I love how versatile and athletic this class is this year. It may not be ranked highly (BUT STARS DONT MATTER) but this class has a lot of potential. I know this is a class that is a coaches dream, athletic, coachable kids that can grow and play multiple positions. If only we still had Collins in this class.

A lot of these kids are…

A lot of these kids are lying about what they are getting or their NIL deal is heavily incentive based and over a period of more than one year. Like the QB that's going to Tennessee said he was getting 8 Million dollars. That's for 4 years and if they win the Natty lol.

Now where is all the money coming from? It's money these boosters and companies have been wanting to spend for ages now. They just had to do it in weird and clever ways. Now they can just hand it out willy nilly.

A kid who played Corner with…

A kid who played Corner with the growth potential to be a Big Safety or a WILL Linebacker? I really like what Harbaugh is doing with this class. We are quietly building a big, fast, versatile and  physical defense. Add Hill and Moore and you're cooking with some serious gas. Ishmail, Waller, Koumba, Bahr, and Hewlett all have growth potentials for positions that they aren't ranked at.

Ok. I was going around all…

Ok. I was going around all of 2021 telling people that Michigan would win the Big Ten. Even put 100 dollars down on them winning the big ten. After the Oregon game, I knew Ohio State was exactly what I thought they were. But, I was screaming at brick walls. I get it. They were titans. So when they came here... I felt... Vindicated. So relieved that I was right. My friends (I have a lot of Friends from Ohio got my bachelors at EMU) were just talking saying "even a broken clock is right twice a day." This year... totally different story leading up to the game. I was expecting an ass beating from them. Not because of the revenge factor or even Ohio State. But because of our First Half against Rutgers and our Game against Maryland. I came in the game dreading it. The weather was perfect. All of my friends had money to bet against me. And... I was literally in Cincinnati for work. I had my noise cancelling headphones ready. I had Literally had a spread sheet of who I would have to pay and how much. I came into that game just ready to lose. After the first half I kept telling myself "We got a chance. We just need one more big play." Then we just kept playing. Kept holding them at bay. My friends went from literally waving off 75 plus yard touchdowns as flukes... To literally biting their nails. In the end of the fourth quarter, I could see the spirit of the entire bar being broken. By the time Donavon Edwards was screaming down the sidelines the bartender couldn't lift his head high. Last year, Ohio State... still felt like Ohio State if that makes sense. They were still the Titans. It was like when Purdue beat them. But this year... I got to see their fans literally have that gut punch that I felt in 2018 when Ohio State was trying to score 100, or in 2017 when John O'Korn missed a wide open throw that got picked off. And after a life time of Lumps (I'm 29) it felt... delicious.

Here's to turning the tide! And me collecting Christmas Monday the day after Black Friday every year going forward.

In the age of the Transfer…

In the age of the Transfer Portal... I don't have a problem with taking a flyer on Bell. Much easier to find a backup QB or starting QB in the portal than a player you believe can play 3/4 positions for your team in a meaningful manner (plus just betting on the little brother of a kid you took a flyer on)

But before we lose our hair…

But before we lose our hair... We said the exact same thing about the class of 2018... it only wound up producing Aidan Hutchinson, Hasan Haskins, Cam McGrone, Jaylen Mayfield, Ryan Hayes, The Green Twins, Taylor Upshaw, Micheal Barrett, Luke Schooonmaker, Ronnie Bell and Jake Moody. Do I have to tell you that the 2018 class worked out?

This class has really good bones as is, we have the potential to add some more Gems. If we change our recruiting identity in order to what... feel better in February, it may bite us In the ass in November. Look at Ohio State, they spent their cycles recruiting  highly ranked defensive ends now they have to play Cover 0 and fire their LBs because their DTs get blown off the ball.

First of all I want to thank…

First of all I want to thank Erick for a wonderful career at Michigan and he’ll have not one but two Big Ten Championship rings. I will say the way he posted it, was super alarming. We will be fine at the position. I wish him and Cade didn’t compete for Big Ten titles against us but it is what it is.

Im assuming the destination will be Iowa. Just seems to obvious.

We gone win this game. WE…

We gone win this game. WE GONE WIN THIS GAME. 3-10 End of the First. WE GONE WIN THIS GAME

The only logical explanation…

The only logical explanation I have… Michigan doesn’t think that there’s a QB in the nation that can beat them with his legs. Or… Mike Elston is a terrible coach at gap discipline.

I’m an alum of both schools…

I’m an alum of both schools. I was at the game courtside. Hunter and Emoni are on a completely different class of their own out there. Noah is spectacular as well, he surprised me. I’m glad Michigan won and Eastern made it a game. I do wish the game was officiated better for both team sakes. But they almost sold out LCA for the “Washtenaw Classic” I hope Michigan does something like this yearly.

Whew transferring into…

Whew transferring into Michigan is a roller coaster lol. I remember after two years at EMU I had a 3.8 and I was going to transfer because my GF got into U of M. They straight up told me that I'd have to start back over as a freshman to transfer in. So I just waited till grad school to go there lol.

An amazing read. I had to…

An amazing read. I had to hold my daughter on NYE when Michigan played Georgia, this season was her first knowing exactly what was going on with Michigan and she was so into it. She even got a "lucky" shirt and every Saturday me and her had to wear it. I didn't wear it on the day of the state game to go get my hair cut and she was livid. But on NYE we was fully decked out. And by halftime, my 7 year old daughter was distraught. It was a tough night for her little heart but she learned the phrase "There's always next year"

Norte Dame is just the…

Norte Dame is just the hottest team on the recruiting trail period for a multitude of reasons but the biggest reason, one of the most liked coached in the country just got promoted to be their head coach. Since Michigan and ND recruit the same consistently it just looks like hit after hit. But things will settle down. Best sign is, all these kids have 6s on their confidence rating and a lot of time to go before they sign on any dotted lines.

New positive outlook

This class is setting up to be a monster class. Many top top top tier kids in the class have a deep relationship with members of the Michigan coaching staff. It sucks we missed out on Logan Brown but Dobbs isn't done with us yet. And we have a great chance with Crouch. This staff can really identify top talent. Hopefully some pretty wins including a showcase game early against Norte Dame can bring them home to Ann Arbor :).

I'm also Drunk

I'm confused

Literally months ago people were saying Peters was the future, he has an awful bowl game, now Speight can beat him out but we don't know if he can beat McCaffery out (whom we've never seen throw a pass in college). Hmmm... Love this site man lol.

Ehh

Good to see Pep working till he has another job. But I don't want Barnett and don't want Pep.

Ehh

Good to see Pep working till he has another job. But I don't want Barnett and don't want Pep.

And eh.

Anyone that says he needs to go is dumb. The team was PROJECTED to go 8-4. We went 8-4 after losing TWO Qbs to injury. Drevno probably needs to find a job in the pros where his playcalling will be better executed. Next year will be, it will be interesting.

I Kinda wish he goes

This fan base doesn't deserve him honestly.

Just saying

I'm only here for the Grinch jokes

Ehh

I don't trust kids with only 2 minutes of highlights and fake forty times

Honestly

He's not the talent that Chase is. But honestly, I felt there was no way Chase would see the field with Four older (and better) Outside WRs ahead of him. Bell and the kid from Cali are more comparable since they'd be playing more inside. If he turns out to be Grant Perry but with better ball skills in the air, Michigan just made themselves better. It's hard to sell a 5-star kid on "You'll be our weakside blocking WR who will get crossing routes and one on ones with safeties from time to time and be a safety valve for the QB along with our ten TEs".

Might be the best pick up in the entire class

Not saying anything to be bashful or to hype up a kid from my neck of the woods (From Saginaw and fiance is from Bay City) but one the field this kid is just impressive. In Saginaw and bay city, rarely the kids on the small schools have the size and athleticism to compete in practice with the bigger schools. This kid has that and then some. He reminds me a lot of the H-Back Vitale that came from Northwestern a few years back.

Not again

this is terrible. Only 1 player to catch the onside kick... and he's under 6 feet tall. This is nauseating
