On the drop-down, select "Embed Tweet"

Copy the code that appears

Paste the code into the post

Switch back to rich text editor. This button is in the same spot at the bottom of the text box as plain text editor.

I think with some of aaron bills graphics on those bare walls, that place could look amazing. For now though its a bit bare, I think thats also cause their not all done. There are no mirrors in there at all, so thats my indication of them not being done. Gotta have them mirrors for the muscles. New equipment looks sweet though and it will only get better.

Cool to see the pics. The weight room stuff looks very good. There were two pics that stood out.

  1. There is one picture of the whole room that shows three adjoining ways to go to the upper level:  a normal stairway, a stairway with giant steps, maybe about 1 step to every 4 normal stair steps?, and a fairly steep incline. I've never seen the giant size stair, or an indoor incline that steep. Any of you familiar with those ways to exercise?
  2. A nutrition room, with a row of blenders visible, all with something like a strawberry smoothie. (Presumably, the room is full of a ton more blenders.) Kind of fascinating to see all those individual blenders. Looks like each athlete who wants can make their own smoothie with calories and ingredients to their specs? Pretty cool.

From my understanding all the sports in the area will get to use it too for weights. Softball, Baseball etc.

Two performance centers, each on the North and South ends of the athletic campus.

I thought they were building a performance center by the admin building for those sports. BTW does anyone know what is going with the rest of the facility stuff Brandon had planned like the new arena for volleyball, gymnastics and wresting and swimming upgrades? Here is a link to it all

Brandon had the quite the vision, I hope it all gets done

The new arena is gonna go in Keen's place perhaps. It's still happening because Mark Rosen keeps mentioning it in his weekly media during Volleyball season.

I'm sure Canham is still happening too because that place needs some sprucing up.

On the map it looked like the new arena was going in the old track building's spot but said-building was converted into a field house for the surrounding sports as an Oosterbaan Fieldhouse II if you will.

If the surrounding sports are going to use the old indoor track building what was the point of keep half of Oosterbaan? I thought the only reason they didn't want to tear it down was because too many other sports used it.

Aren't you in architecture? Why didn't you point out this design flaw? What's wrong with you, Don? You architects, I tell you. Asleep on the job. And now we'll be set back in recruiting for another 50 years. If Michigan doesn't succeed, it's all the fault of the architects. Including you.

He was.  Not that I didn't enjoy his multi-post subthread arguing how the act of replacing our workout equipment under Barwis did not constitute in any way an improvement to our exisitng workout facilitiies; all the while conflating the meaning of the words "renovate", "update", and "upgrade".  Sigh, that was tedious.

Sorry, but I’m glad the guy is gone. He was just a twitch, coming here only to be disagreeable and stir up shit. He felt so oppressed here, but if he was a marine he would have been shanked in the barracks long ago. Who needs that? What we need is more smart ass clowns!
