real complaint about this start time is that this is an ideal day to leave the office/workplace around 1 or 2 and have some beers and some food, but the game is SO FAR away.  If I do my typical March Madness routine today I am going to have a headache and be drinking coffee at tip time.  Even like 9:05 or 9:15 would be considerably different than 9:50 (which almost certainly won't start until like 10:30).

If we win, anybody know which time slot we'd be on Saturday for the round of 32? I can find the list of time slots but can't find which part of the bracket is when.

Here are the time slots for the 4 sites on Saturday:

12:10 & 2:40 (CBS)
5:15 & 7:45 (CBS)
6:10 & 8:40 (TNT)
7:10 & 9:40 (TBS)

The Wichita games will be one of those pairs of timeslots.  12:10 & 2:40 is very unlikely, because those should go to Pittsburgh, the lone Eastern time zone site.

Boise (MDT), Dallas and Wichita (both CDT) are the other sites.  Really, there's no reason to expect one over another to be assigned to any of them.  I really do expect Boise to get the 5:15 & 7:45 time slots, because that will go to the one of the three with the best TV matchups (Arizona-Kentucky and Gonzaga-OSU, if the seeds hold).

So that leaves 6:10 & 8:40 or 7:10 & 9:40 for Wichita.  I don't see anything to distinguish the two, and Michigan would probably get the night game (although that isn't guaranteed) because they have the night game on Thursday.  So figure 8:40 on TNT or 9:40 on TBS for the game time, with 6:10 or 7:10 an outside possibility, if they want Kansas to play the night game on Saturday in Wichita.

I am actually happy M plays late. Now I can enjoy all of the other games going on beforehand and then focus on the M game late night. Off work tomorrow. Word.

Thanks!  I was looking for something like this all packaged up.

Let the upsets and buzzer beaters begin!  (Just not for us.)
