Really wanna see the Mad Pirate's team fuck up Mork's team.
December 28th, 2017 at 9:03 PM ^
I figure I can't go wrong--if MSU happens to blunder into a win then the B1G is still undefeated.
EDIT: Welp, they've already got a big boost with Wash U's QB out.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:40 PM ^
Michigan Flag already hanging in East Lansing to piss off the neighbors.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:08 PM ^
Fuck Sparty for making me stay up late to watch them lose
December 28th, 2017 at 5:17 PM ^
TruMoo. Imported from Lansing.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:34 PM ^
I won't be watching that garbage of a game. I'm amazed anyone here can stand watching them. The only times I watch OSU are when we play them or I have a few OSU friends over. I never watch MSU unless it's against us. Thankfully I don't have any MSU friends.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:45 PM ^
I mean it’s someone to root against which is better than most of these bowl games that I have zero interest in. Also, it’s something to talk about with coworkers and friends who enjoy college football and may like state or osu.
December 28th, 2017 at 10:12 PM ^
If you only watch them when we're playing them then I guess we can disregard any analysis you give about the game against them in the future because you wouldn't know shit about them or how they play. I bet there is a lot of that on here which is how we get so many foolish predictions all the time.
December 28th, 2017 at 10:50 PM ^
I'm sadly in East Lansing this whole week for work. Where's the precious UM flag at so I can fetch it?
Or is that something we stopped doing after we graduated?
December 28th, 2017 at 4:46 PM ^
Really looking forward to the 9:00 game.
TCU has a shot to beat osu next year so it'd be good to watch them in action first.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:43 PM ^
For my money, there's nothing in football as beautiful as an option attack firing on all cylinders. Virginia looks seasick.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:50 PM ^
Navy wins 49-7, going 0-1 on pass attempts.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
the box score is going to be ugly. Virginia only scored on the opening kick off return. Zero offense for the rest of the game. pretty rough for virginia.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:29 PM ^
They did have at least one other attempt in the first half, but it ended in a sack. Still, it says something about the efficiency of a good option that they can put up 452 yards without a single pass being completed.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:07 PM ^
UVA got their shit packed... pretty shocked
December 28th, 2017 at 5:19 PM ^
when Leach ran it.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:43 PM ^
Dang, VT and Okie State tickets from 6$. Thats cheaper than minor league baseball tickets.
December 28th, 2017 at 4:53 PM ^
Remember to cool your coffee a bit first though before participating in a bowl...

Cmon pirates!
December 28th, 2017 at 5:13 PM ^
Staee. My boss (MSU grad) is on record as rooting for S.Carolina. I got my Christmas present already so I hope he wakes up with a nice turd in his coffee.
December 28th, 2017 at 5:16 PM ^
Fuck state. Hope WSU blows them out
December 28th, 2017 at 5:18 PM ^
Horn Dogs.

I like how the deeper you get into bowl season, the teams get better and better.
I hate how the deeper you get into bowl season, the teams get better and better... and it's a reminder that the season is coming to an end.

incoming thread on Monday afternoon...

Fred Jackson's boy looked pretty good on that drive for VT!
December 28th, 2017 at 7:59 PM ^
Like Fred Jackson, but younger
December 28th, 2017 at 5:47 PM ^
has gone down the shitter and have lost the last 4 games with some high confidence points involved. I don't know what I was thinking picking Missouri or Virginia. Those teams were shit
December 28th, 2017 at 5:50 PM ^
Primarily because they went out to the smurf turf and pummeled Boise. Plus Navy was very average this year. I love to be so damn wrong
December 28th, 2017 at 5:54 PM ^
Missouri was actually playing pretty good football at the end of the year. I think they were riding a 5 game winning streak heading into the game and their offense had been putting up some pretty nice numbers.
December 28th, 2017 at 6:05 PM ^
Ditto mine. And OSU is not off to a great start tonight.
December 28th, 2017 at 6:05 PM ^
i will root for my old classmate mike, but his defensive coordinator is doing a 'durkin', meaning he has left or is in the process of leaving and joining ohio (YTO). mork will have had time to game plan a ton for the different WSU looks and you have to give mork credit, he's a very good game planner.
all that to say, go cougs, beat state, but i have somewhat low expectations. i would add that i have been to a few holiday bowls and year-in, year-out they have some fo the very best games.

Expect a fire, earthquake or tsunami if Sparty falls behind
December 28th, 2017 at 6:05 PM ^
This CEO as a guest in the commentary booth is the most Dave Brandon thing ever
December 28th, 2017 at 6:07 PM ^
At least he comes off sounding a bit more humble...Brandon would start talking about when he played and shit about himself

Camping World = Tangerine Bowl?
December 28th, 2017 at 6:31 PM ^
Blockbuster Bowl-->Carquest Bowl--->MicroPC Bowl---->MicroPC.com Bowl--->Visit Florida Tangerine Bowl--->Mazda Tangerine Bowl--->Champs Sports Bowl---->Russell Athletic Bowl--->Camping World Bowl
It only had Tangerine in it from 2001-2003.
The current Citrus Bowl was the Tangerine Bowl from 1947-1982.
The Tangerine Bowl Stadium is now the Camping World Stadium.
Got it?
December 28th, 2017 at 7:16 PM ^
Simple enough. Pretty much common sense at this point.

Brutal turnover there. Side note:Ramon Richards is a badass name.
December 28th, 2017 at 6:10 PM ^
way to waste an 18 play drive to the 1. Jeeze...
December 28th, 2017 at 6:17 PM ^
Poor bastards . . . they get a Big 10 crew to do their game . . . .
December 28th, 2017 at 6:23 PM ^
Is it a realistic prospect? Do they still make guys who're steady and stoic enough to just execute with ruthless efficiency for 15-20 plays..it seems like nowadays you're better off going for chunk plays to minimize the number of opportunities for your team to make mental errors.

Best Reddit comment: "Navy hasn't hammered Virginia that hard since Lincoln was President."

Tasty games today. Currently watching Okie State / VaTech. Go Coogs!
December 28th, 2017 at 6:43 PM ^
I cant believe ok st is having this hard of a time scoring. I know va tech plays way better d than the big 12 teams ok st is use to but dang.
December 28th, 2017 at 6:49 PM ^
They aren't used to playing against a defense
December 28th, 2017 at 6:51 PM ^
Haha yea obviously. It's just crazy cause they score so much usually.
December 28th, 2017 at 7:12 PM ^
I've got Navy (woo!) the real OSU, WSU, and Stanford. Feel pretty good about OSU, meh on Stanford, not great on WSU.
