How many coaches have they lost so far this off season? I know they are a recruiting powerhouse but this kind of turnover has to be better for us than them.

per espn assistant HC no less. Schiano and Belichek are supposed to be very good friends.I think Brady plays at least 2 more years. Belichek isnt going anywhere till Brady retires. Schiano must be a very good coach for all his nfl peers to give him so much respect.

So that'll be two DCs in two years.  It's not unexpected, but OSU's defense definitely improved under him and it'll be interesting to see who they slot in.

yes as a whole the defense gave up less points this past year but the LB's were way worse than last year which paved the way for our 2 losses. Iowa and Oklahoma exposed our LB's with their TE's and wheel routes by the running backs out of the backfield and misdirection/counter trap running plays to take advantage of  aggressive LB play. Thank god JT Barret is gone.

Schiano will be next DC or at least on the staff with Brian Flores potentially being DC.  Site said he hasn't made up his mind.  After seeing the Pats d last night, he probably has more talent and athletes in Columbus!

Honestly, Ohio State’s assistant coaching staff is easy to poach. Schiano was the highest paid assistant coach at $700k. Kevin Wilson was next at $650k. Hell, Larry Johnson is only making $475k.

Am trying to imagine, the parallel universe, had Schiano taken the offer to coach here, rather, not reneg..... I wonder where the program would be at the moment....   Sorry to say, I think we'd have been better off....
