It's Ohio State. Let's face it, they're the B1G's crown jewel. They're gonna keep getting calls until we beat them. It's like when Penn State and Purdue complain about "Big House Magic" and calls that always go in our favor.

I don't think their line has been called for a hold since harbaugh took over. I know for a fact they have not been called this game or last. Maybe they did in 2015 but they only had 5 penelties for 39 that year, so doubt it.
It is not like Michigan has had a bad dline they have had high draft pics every year. Yet, their oline has played perfect for 2.5 games?
Come on.

Don’t be ridiculous. If these things go our way, we’re way ahead:

-O’Korn’s 3 wide open overthrows

-McKeown’s(?) key drop

-Metellus’s dropped interception

-Not recovering JT Barrett’s fumbled snap

We could be winning. Neither refs nor coaching can fix those key moments.

These things are both true. We haven’t played perfect, but Christ like 5 obvious things were missed in that quarter. Meanwhile we got two holding calls that weren’t even close to holds.

I get that officiating doesn’t explain everything, but every year, every DAMN year, it’s this same bs. Over time that shit should even out. It’s not. And it’s having an effect...possibly 3-7 points off the board because they didn’t call an obvious first down a first down. How about blocks in the back enabling them like 30 extra yards of free field position? This matters. It’s not the only thing, but it does.

A few points:
1. Money is not the root of all evil; there's nothing wrong with money.

2. If you really believe that "money is the root of all evil" crap, then it would actually be in the B1G's interest for us to win this game. A rivalry in which OSU wins for like 20 straight yesss isn't a real rivalry. A renewed M/OSU rivalry that is roughly equally balanced is big profit for the B1G. Arguably, the best conference game of the year has been reduced to a national afterthought.

3. Even if the BIG wanted OSU to win for $$ reasons, that wouldn't explain why we get hosed in almost every other game. We are certainly a bigger cash cow than Wisconsin (DPJ non-touchdown), Sparty any missed PI calls) and every their team that gets suspect calls over us.

I agree that we are getting screwed, but $$ isn't the reason. We are getting screwed because either the refs just suck or they don't like our head coach.

the errors by the reffing crew are not easy to make mistakes, they are blatantly intentional bad calls
