Clipping, holding, block in the back, spots, no-calls. What am I missing? Screw Delaney and his puppets.
Michigan shouldn't have to be 17 points better to win this game.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
It’s so blatantly obvious it’s disgusting. Any of you who think refs don’t have it out for Harbaugh is in denial. This is no conspiracy theory, it’s facts. Turn on the tv every week and watch Michigan get screwed over and over again.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:06 PM ^
This fan base better not let them leave this staduim unscathed.... Action need to be taken to lead to change. Against the individual officals and, the big ten office and Delany.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:08 PM ^
Let's not get ridiculous.
November 25th, 2017 at 4:05 PM ^
We should push for change in officiating protocol.
November 25th, 2017 at 6:25 PM ^
as the refs screwed up again and again today. You can boo them.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:35 PM ^
This fanbase????!?!?!?!?!?!?!
HALF THE STADIUM IS RED!
FUCK this fanbase.
November 25th, 2017 at 6:40 PM ^
This isn't Florida, man.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:34 PM ^
Watching the game with a CU and a Clemson alumni... they cannot beleive the reffing. I'm just sitting here taking it -- it's been all season long gents.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:48 PM ^
It's Ohio State. Let's face it, they're the B1G's crown jewel. They're gonna keep getting calls until we beat them. It's like when Penn State and Purdue complain about "Big House Magic" and calls that always go in our favor.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:56 PM ^
There's the added carrot this year of needing to sneak a Big Ten team in the CFP. Big Ten needs to make sure either a) Wisconsin beats a good OSU team or b) OSU is 2-loss and can maybe sneak in as a 4. The Big Ten has absolutely no desire to see us win this game
November 25th, 2017 at 2:00 PM ^
Not sure how beating them would cause the refs to stop calling one sided calls for OSU.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:03 PM ^
Perception is everything. You beat the top dogs you get the benefit of the doubt in a lot of 50/50 plays because there's an expectation that the better team will be better.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
After that review, I can’t argue.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
Michigan gets the shaft again. Call block in the back on OSU half the time at least.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:56 PM ^
first barrett td? Loking like it to me
November 25th, 2017 at 2:06 PM ^
On that one, Winovich ran into the guard and fell. I thought the same as you until I saw the replay.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:48 PM ^
Bulllshit smh
November 25th, 2017 at 1:48 PM ^
The missed holds have been fucking ridiculous. The o e they didn’t call on Mo let me know how this will go. Fuck these refs.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:04 PM ^
I don't think their line has been called for a hold since harbaugh took over. I know for a fact they have not been called this game or last. Maybe they did in 2015 but they only had 5 penelties for 39 that year, so doubt it.
It is not like Michigan has had a bad dline they have had high draft pics every year. Yet, their oline has played perfect for 2.5 games?
Come on.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:49 PM ^
His is complete bullshit and is ruining football
November 25th, 2017 at 1:49 PM ^
How that wasn’t a first down - initially, or upon review - is a mystery to me...
November 25th, 2017 at 5:58 PM ^
During the review, the ref was watching Modern Family reruns.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:50 PM ^
It's an embarrassing showing for the refs.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:50 PM ^
Maybe we leave the B10, because this is trash calls.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:50 PM ^
Blah blah blah. Enough of the conspiracy crap.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:05 PM ^
It may not be a conspiracy but incompetence only favoring OSU? How about that? How do you explain those calls? If you have nothing to counter, then don't post
November 25th, 2017 at 3:17 PM ^
Counter this group? Are you serious? There is no reason left here. Every game it's the same excuses.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:51 PM ^
Don’t be ridiculous. If these things go our way, we’re way ahead:
-O’Korn’s 3 wide open overthrows
-McKeown’s(?) key drop
-Metellus’s dropped interception
-Not recovering JT Barrett’s fumbled snap
We could be winning. Neither refs nor coaching can fix those key moments.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:52 PM ^
would be INT is what's going to haunt them. That swung everything towards OSU....ugh
November 25th, 2017 at 1:56 PM ^
Ohio State has needed a ton of luck to stay tied with Michigan at the half.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:59 PM ^
I’m going with this. Great take.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:07 PM ^
agreed.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:53 PM ^
you forgot one:
-refs do their fucking jobs
November 25th, 2017 at 1:54 PM ^
It almost impossible to win when playing against OSU and the refs. I'm not one to birch and moan about calls, but holy shit. Two years in a row that OSU gets all the breaks. Just a little iffy.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:55 PM ^
The ref calls are in the margins.
We need to BEAT OSU.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:57 PM ^
Generally agree but the drop and two overthrows were on a drive we ultimately scored a touchdown on
November 25th, 2017 at 1:58 PM ^
but why do we have to be perfect AND overcome the refs to win this game. This is the 2nd straight year I'm watching OSU get immensely favorable officiating. It gave them the game last year and helped them claw back in it here.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:58 PM ^
These things are both true. We haven’t played perfect, but Christ like 5 obvious things were missed in that quarter. Meanwhile we got two holding calls that weren’t even close to holds.
I get that officiating doesn’t explain everything, but every year, every DAMN year, it’s this same bs. Over time that shit should even out. It’s not. And it’s having an effect...possibly 3-7 points off the board because they didn’t call an obvious first down a first down. How about blocks in the back enabling them like 30 extra yards of free field position? This matters. It’s not the only thing, but it does.
November 25th, 2017 at 2:06 PM ^
Sure. You mean to say that M has ot play a perfect game with their 3rd string QB but OSU does not have to do that. I think that is fair.
November 25th, 2017 at 5:17 PM ^
Everyone is right. The refs, ugh, they are just trash, better than last year, but still garbage. JOK did get a favorable bounce on the fumbled snap, so that was good. If more of the above had happened we could have won this game.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:51 PM ^
Dude has had the same cushy job 28 years and may have it another 28 more.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:51 PM ^
for the B1G if OSU wins. Money, the root of all evil.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:58 PM ^
A few points:
1. Money is not the root of all evil; there's nothing wrong with money.
2. If you really believe that "money is the root of all evil" crap, then it would actually be in the B1G's interest for us to win this game. A rivalry in which OSU wins for like 20 straight yesss isn't a real rivalry. A renewed M/OSU rivalry that is roughly equally balanced is big profit for the B1G. Arguably, the best conference game of the year has been reduced to a national afterthought.
3. Even if the BIG wanted OSU to win for $$ reasons, that wouldn't explain why we get hosed in almost every other game. We are certainly a bigger cash cow than Wisconsin (DPJ non-touchdown), Sparty any missed PI calls) and every their team that gets suspect calls over us.
I agree that we are getting screwed, but $$ isn't the reason. We are getting screwed because either the refs just suck or they don't like our head coach.
November 25th, 2017 at 4:11 PM ^
The Game sells itself. No matter what. If OSU lost and the. Best Wisky no Big Ten rep in the playoff. It is basic math
November 25th, 2017 at 5:20 PM ^
Money in and of its self, no, but imbued with power by man. So, yes, money is the root of evil given the actions taken to obtain said power. I thought you went to michigan?
November 25th, 2017 at 2:00 PM ^
It’s the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Get it right.
November 25th, 2017 at 1:51 PM ^
the errors by the reffing crew are not easy to make mistakes, they are blatantly intentional bad calls
November 25th, 2017 at 1:52 PM ^
No, they aren’t intentional.
