PSA: Michigan Hockey season tickets now on sale

Submitted by JonnyHintz on
Title pretty much says it all. Season tickets went on sale last night. $395 per person in the middle end zones and $340 each in the end zones. Club seats are also available and run $1,350 and are in limited supply. Other benefits include concession stand discounts and priority to post-season ticket sales. I’m not sure if the schedule is completely finalized for next season, but last year there were 19 home games. Giving ticket value at $17.90 per game or $20.80 per game, while individual ticket sales were $35 per game usually. Tickets to MSU and ND games were nearly impossible to get also. So pretty good value for anyone interested in the hockey team and has Friday and Saturday nights free. Link: https://mgoblue.com/sports/2017/6/16/tickets-ihm-season-html.aspx

The fact that I'm reading this OP and considering the possibility of getting season tickets is a reminder of how fortunate we are to have gotten Mel back as HC.

Though still several months away, worth a POSBANG!

Several months away, but in an arena with only 5,800 capacity and the team coming off of a frozen four run, one would expect an increase in season ticket sales and ticket sales in general. They won’t be as easy to get as they have been in recent years.

Next year could be very exciting if Quinn Hughes returns and is joined by his brother Jack.

That was the original plan (reportedly, I’ve never heard it coming from Quinn). But the kid is potentially a top 5 pick. If the NHL team that drafts him says he’d be on their opening day roster, it’s not a slam dunk that he’d say no. Especially when you’re figuring he’d be making $300,000 a year to play hockey instead of zero compensation.
