Peppers says not leaving without his degree.
So with the RS year, this probably means after his RS Jr season - I'll take an extra year.
unless he's on the devin gardner plan, no?
so he had atleast 1 semester more by now than Peppers.
It'd be really cool if he was here for 3 more years. I'd never expect this, even with the tweet, but hop he can get his degree. I also hope woodson can come back and get his, but not sure how that would work with him being gone for so long and how his credits hold up.
Yea, assuming he is a on a 4-year track - it would be RS JR year. He can probably smash in a masters degree (like DG) if he wants to stay for his RS SR year too. 5 years out of state tuition, room and board is worth 300k. That's a pretty nice setup.
I'm not leaving without my degree. https://t.co/Uai3xhs8sD

I pray for everyone's health, but I will definitely be praying for Jabrill's as he goes through his career here. A kid this talented and wise deserves all the success and payments that he works for. Jim couldn't have asked for a more Harbaugh-type leader to start out with.

Can't wait to see how JH uses Peppers

Can get their degree in 3 years nowadays. I wouldn't read too much into this.
Was just going to say the same thing.
3 years tops - he's on the Sir Charles plan.
Anything more is a bonus.
Summer classes FTW
I thought I changed the game w/ my poetic announcement on ESPN... Bro... a Kicker just hopped out a private jet for his commitment

Neg away but he needs to do some things on the field before the NFL is going to come calling early anyway.
Not his fault because of the freak injury, but... it is what it is.

And apparently I tried to do it twice.
I see you Dudeness.... however dont forget that Michigan football is coming off 7 seasons where TALK has been put before results on the field....so ...
As a proud NJ resident, Peppers makes me so happy! His presence at Michigan will keep pulling NJ's best to Michigan for years to come. It'll make me smile ear to ear when I run into RU fans anywhere. : )
Proud NJ resident?
lol.
Richest state in the nation! And #1 football prospect in the nation! JERSEY!
With all Due Respect to Mr. Peppers...physical specimin that he is... he has accomplished 0 in college football to date and any talk about leaving for the NFL is pretty speculative and premature.
Except be an awesome Michigan Man every single day. Oh and recruit 5 out of the top 10 NJ prospects this year.

Baxter, the actual TWEET was not posted when I made my post. The Original Poster indicated that the TWEET was specifically stating "NFL" which obviously it is not.....
Since Peppers was not mentioning NFL, then the Original Poster was misleading in his headline.
Think I negged you by mistake, clicking to grab the screeen for scrolling. Sorry.
He was responding to someone's question on twitter....he never implied or speculated anything about going to the NFL......you might want to direct that to the person that asked him that on twitter as to why they would ask him that....
No shit, he virtually hasn't been on a college football field. However, it''s not like the excitement or even speculation isn't justified. He was the #2 recruit in the nation and was unanimously considered by all talent evaluators, along with any casual observer who's laid eyes on him, a sublimely gifted athelete and rare football talent. To boot, he has proven himself a hardworker, natural leader and has a desire to be great. If you're a starz worshipper his consensus 5 star status means that among all recruits he has among highest statistical probabilty of being a high caliber Div 1 player as well as making to the next level. People have a right to be excited.
Best football news of the week. Now I can't wait for several more threads regarding apparel and Nike.
He needs to add Big Ten Championship to that list.
Still glad he wants to graduate. We're rooting for you Jabrill.
He could leave after his jr year with or without the rs. You just have to be out of HS 3 years and ask "pretty please"....
To be eligible for the draft, players must have been out of high school for three years and must have used up their college eligibility before the start of the next college football season. Underclassmen and players who have graduated before using all their college eligibility may request the league’s approval to enter the draft early.
If he proves himself to be first round worthy, it is awful hard to turn down that money. It can help take care of him and his family for the rest of their lives.
While the selfish side of me hopes he stays for four more years, if I were him, and the NFL said I was first round worthy for the 2017 draft, I'd absolutely declare. Then finish up your degree in the offseason.

Breezy is the man!
This dude has his priorties straight.
My wife remembers me saying the moment that idiot wide receiver from App State made a half-ass and totally unnecessary attempt at a blocking him 50 yards away from the play "there's an injury" and indeed it was.
fix your font, sonny.
