OT: Best high school highlight reels

Submitted by Magnus on

I posted a thread a while ago about the top highlight films in the class of 2018. The top one, in my opinion, was Tre'Shaun Harrison, who ended up signing with Florida State.

But while perusing Feedly today, I found another option. This is Devonte Lee, who signed with Nevada as a 5'10", 215 lb. running back. He had 546 rushes for 6,681 yards and 89 touchdowns during his high school career. There are some pretty great stiff-arms and bowling ball plays in here. He's a 2-star, the #152 running back, and #2434 overall.

is probably Fitz Toussaint, which was just video game moves throughout.

The most ridiculous highlights I've seen generally the past decade or so I can remember--

1. Jadeveon Clowney. It was hard not to laugh. "Man against boys" doesn't even begin to describe it.

2. Leonard Fournette. If I recall correctly, it was about 7 or 8 minutes in before he got tackled.

I hadn't seen those before, and they are impressive.

But that's a good example of highlights that are sped up to make them seem more impressive. I get annoyed when prospects/parents/coaches feel the need to doctor highlight reels like that.

40 secs and less of Reggie Benton of Grand Blanc, home of Mark Ingram, Steve Smith and others. Kid never played a down of cfb but many fom GB say he's as great of talent as they've ever had there. Check it out if you haven't watched him. 98 and 99 both. Can't believe no one had more tape on him. UM and ND bac and forth.  Would love to know real story behind this young man. Must have been tremendous hurdles in his life.
