Life before the internet:  I was having trouble with my eyes and no eye Dr. was giving me a satisfactory answer.  So I snuck into the Wright State medical library to try to find out what was going on (which I did).

So I'll always have a soft spot for the Wright State Raiders.

That's awesome, even better that you found out what was wrong. Sounds like this may have been the era when the Rowdy Raider mascot was a random Viking instead of the random wolf they have now. (I wish they'd bring that back) If they somehow come back to win this game, Dayton will indeed get rowdy

Yep, a few years ago, my sociology professor mentioned in class that the mascot was changed in the 90's due to gender equality. So they picked a wolf, I guess. Lame. And a quick Google search on syneresis leads me to believe I've had that myself. Floaters, right? Having some black blob slowly move across your vision in one eye is a scary thing.

My wife is not a fan of this time of the year because I basically immerse myself in basketball for three weeks and do admittedly little else of note around the house. I do post the estimated breaks between matchups and try to fit small chores into those, but even walking the dog is only done at certain times for three weeks. 

She may eventually read this comment, for I have let her shadow mod in the past, although she has not had the courage to pretend to be me in the Mod Sticky yet.

I just don't get it. Trae Young turns it over for the 5th time trying to split two defenders on fast break. CBS immediately proceeds with "but he's locked in with 6 assists."

 

EDIT: And while typing this post he turns it over AGAIN to give up a backbreaking 3.
