And shoot the lights out in a comeback win over Clarkson? I guess the voters felt Sparty needed something to feel good about.

don't know man.  I have seen Foster Loyer in person on numerous occassions and he is really good.  I don't know how it will transfer to college ball, particularly at MSU, but he has had a great season and high school career.   He took one on the chin against DeJulius, but his body of work has been deserving, and they are probably going to be playing for back to back State titles if they can beat a good Carmen Ainsworth team.

Michigan is taking all of the shoulder-chips formerly belonging to MSU.  This can only pay dividends in the future.

No, the question is why a kid would openly choose to go to a school who's top two coaches condone and protect rapists. No, I am wrong the real question is why a parent would allow their child to attend that university.

Rape culture 101 Gangbang 100 Silence the witness 101 Destroy evidence 100 Tell mom what you did 101. Just some first semester classes available taught by Dantonio and Izzo.

Dantonio, Izzo and Paterno are all about the welfare of others. They would never put their programs and players ahead of their victims. Loyer may be looking for a lawyer at that shool.

As I predicted on twitter, old white guys gave it to him as a lifetime achievement award, for being on a good team loaded with talent.  Clarkston's record is crazy over the last two years.

The guys who vote on this don't know of any better way to decide a close race.  But Loyer will be the worst of the four in college, and wasn't the best in high school.  I thought it was Dejulius, who destroyed Loyer head-to-head.

As long as DeJulius destroys Loyer in future years to come (as he already did this past year), I don’t really care. We know we got the kid we want! Not to mention the kid who finished second... not too shabby

Loyer winning doesnt bother me.  Like someone else said, Towns and Dejulius are likely to be better college players.  Don't see this as a huge injustice.

I've always had huge respect for Dan Fife.  Good guy.  Great coach.  I can remember watching us beat Flint Northern when they had Cleaves.  It was the most ridiculous victory I've ever seen.  Our 6'3" center matching up against 6'10...  5 stars vs nobodies...  It was all coaching that won.

That's why I'm suprised Fife wouldn't have talked him away from MSU...  Good luck to the kid, but bad move IMO.  I'm wondering if that might be the last of the star struck recruits Izzo can milk out of his reputation?  Loyer was really fun to watch, but judging from the last three years of MSU talent squandering, he won't improve much with the Fight'n Larry Nassars.
