Classes only Mon-Thurs, so I had Friday Saturday Sunday every week to do nothing, and my grades show that I succeeded.
where my hours were Tue 13 hrs, Wed 14 hrs, and Thu 13 hrs. Every weekend was 4 days off! Yes!
I had that same schedule in B-School at Michigan.
The problem was, there was plenty of work to do and you needed to use that non-class time efficiently to do it.
But it was hard to have the proper discipline, looking at a "three day weekend" each Friday morning. In Ann Arbor.
More than once I found myself on Sunday evening with 3 days worth of work to do because I screwed around all day Friday, Saturday, and half of Sunday.
For all intents and purposes we get a three-day weekend every week. Before a holiday weekend things often get very slow, so I told everyone not to come in today. My employees seemed to like that...

football in the ACC Baseball tournament. They put up 17 points in the fourth quarter inning on Notre Dame they other day.
To hell with Notre Dame.

Did a little reunion back in AA last weekend with my old college buddies. Got super drunk and when walking across the diag there was only thing that kept running through my mind...
"WHO COULD POSSIBLY HAVE IT BETTER THAN US?!?!"
Oh no... I need these 99 days to go as slow as possible. We don't get spring in Michigan so need to savor summer as much as possible

So much to be thankful for and remember. Will enjoy especially enjoy three days of relaxation, not driving to work, exercise, and enjoying great spring weather. Less than 100 days to Michigan football with about 9 returning starters on defense too.
