Just Curious: Is This Site Ever Really Going To Be Upgraded?

I am probably one of the few posters left that doesn't mind the current site layout and funtionality but I've been here for years, over a decade now, yes a decade, and I feel like we've been told over and over again that the site is about to receice a makeover because we've been told over and over again that the site is about to receive a makeover.  What happened to the company in AA that had things figured out and would have a new site online............ before the 2018 football season?  

I understand that the site is free and I don't want this to read as a complaint because it isn't.  I am just curious as to what the hell is going on because Brian and Co posted that the site was finally going to go through a much talked about and major upgrade and........ poof.... nothing.  It's elusive as
