Have an extra floor seat tomorrow

Submitted by freejs on

Apologies if this isn't okay to post on the board, just not sure what to do. Someone flaked on me for the Elite 8 game and I have an extra floor seat - Sec. 108, Row H.

I desperately want to sit with a UM fan.

I paid 340 for each, but would gladly sell my extra at 240 and take a hundred dollar bath.

Yes, you can still get tickets to the event but you can't get a seat this good for anywhere close to that price.

My other option is to run it over to stubhub's last minute service center and list it, but then I might get a Seminole fan, and yes, it's a minor hassle (a four minute drive...)

I'd need to know really soon, though, because I need to go the stubhub route asap if no one's a taker. Anyone interested?

Based on last night's attendance, I'd say you have about an 80/20 chance of selling it to a Michigan fan anyway, even if you use StubHub. :)

I like the idea of being in row H but I'm not sold on the idea of being behind the band/basket.

it's a pretty amazing place to see a game from.

These are the tickets I always get when I'm trying to get near the court.

These are pretty much the tickets I had throughout the BTT at the Garden.

Because they're off to the side, the view is amazing for one half and more than acceptable for the other half.

It's an incredible place to be able to see how every play and movement unfolds.

It's hard to describe the beauty of what I watched yesterday, and there just were not many if any better vantage points from which to take it in.

To each their own, but imo, it's as exciting and educational as it gets.

OK, you talked me into it.  I found a simiar seat (and price, happily) in section 115 on StubHub and decided to pounce.

For those of you who are still looking for seats -- online inventory seems to be good.  The get-in price appears to be holding mostly steady but prices for premium seats seem to be dropping.

are the best seats in sports.  The court is small enough such that the angles don't get distorted such that sitting so close is a hindrance to depth perception and since you're so close the action, you get a sense of the size and speed of the players like no other sport.

Rinkside hockey comes close because checking is great but the wall blocks the view of part of the rink in front of you so it's not quite as perfect as basketball.

Sitting behind the plate in baseball is incredible for the view of the pitcher, batter and catch but once a ball is hit, your depth perception is so bad, it's hard to tell a fly ball from a homer.

I've already decided I need to take my 12 year old son to experience this with me.  Looking for 2 tickets right now.  I also would love to be around other great fans.  Good luck.

Goblue12820 this might be the impulsive move of the year. Congrats on being the kind of fan we need much more of.

I was in Wichita for the Houston game and there might have been only 1000 Mich fans at most there (probably more like 600-800). Experiencing Jayhawk Nation in full effect was kind of depressing knowing that we couldn’t accomplish such a presence even if we were in Detroit. We need more of this. Keep up the good work.

The "down in front" crowd has traveled from Michigan to Staples center! We were getting yelled at by a couple of dudes that looked like the movie critics from the muppets, because we were going crazy and standing up and cheering in the first half. We can't see when you stand up! Um, then you should be standing up and cheering too!! But, we're up by 22 points! Have you ever seen a basketball game, dear sirs?! They were told to leave that sh*t in Ann Arbor! They pointed to their UM lapel pins. Unbelievable.

Were you the one I was talking to in the aisle from 106? I wish I was faster. I probably would have purchased. Keep yelling loud if it was you. You were cracking me up yesterday

was pure joy.

BTW your seats are behind or to one side of the basket, opposite M band.

Not what I call a floor seat. But good luck. If you are in the stadium it is a blast.
