Seriously. How hard is it to spell Warriner?
Weiner. Did I get close?
About as close as Anthony got to getting away with it.

who the hell you're talking about. Making at least a half-assed effort shows you care enough to hold a dialogue; it's not too much to ask.
Those who will be correcting people literally every time they spell it wrong, which will be frequent, will be infinitely more obnoxious.
If he does a good job, he's Warinner. If he struggles he's Warriner (if not Warrrrrrrrriner...).
Tloy Woolfork.

without the correct spelling of the coach's last name is it hard to understand the post?
How could you possibly have any confidence in that statement if you don't even know enough about him to spell his name right?
Love it when umbig11 posts!
I do too. I just hate when the discussion is about how to spell the OL coach's name instead of you know...the football team.
I'd be pleased if the tackles were Hudson and JBB. If JBB has improved his foot work to the point where they would even try him at LT, then I assume he could still play RT too.
I'm with you. I'm actually surprised it isn't JBB at RT and Runyan getting a shot at LT.
I was pretty much fine with JBB at right tackle. He was a great run blocker but obviously hurt us with pass pro at least 1-2 times each game. I think it may eventually turn into RT or bust for him. Warriner will have this figured out by August.
I always found this concept curious. I know the LT protects the blind side of a right handed QB, however they also generally matcup against the SDE who is typically slower than the WDE. So, wouldn't the RT need better footwork than the LT to handle the quicker WDE?
LTs are generally going against the "WDE" (our End, Chase) of opponents who run 4 man fronts. RTs generally go against bigger, slower folk (our Anchor, Rashan, who is bigger but not slower). Thus, you generally like LTs to have a little bick quicker feet and greater reach.
I thought that SDE is called Strong side defensive end because he is lined up to the side of the formation that has a TE. In a really basic formation, I think the TE tend to line up next to the RT.
Yes. We call the "SDE" position Anchor, and this is why there's a plethora of clips of Chris Wormley and Rashan Gary destroying TEs.

How about we recruit some actual talent at that position instead of trying to shift guards outside? How about we actually hire coaches who can develop OL talent? An elite program shouldn't have to cross their fingers about something like this..
If we get solid tackle play this season (assuming interior is going to be solid), we better be giving Warinner a raise. Especially if JBB turns into a servicable LT, that will be impressive.
I'll see it when I believe it.
We are already over on the scholarship numbers. If he were truly going to play, wouldn't he be participating in spring practice? Just my opinion.
more practice.
I hope he doesn't come back and don't expect to see him here again.
and honestly at this point in time it's time for him to just move on. Wish him the best and hope he lands somewhere where he can play next season.
Those who stay will be champions. Those who quit the team before the seasons over to join a new team and then try to come back when they find out the competition might not be as stiff as expected will be...
