Also liking that Texas is not included. Not only because of the Herman factor and proximity to home (as others have stated, Norman is just as close), but UT is a much better academic school than OU and compares well to UM in that regard.  Just one more reason to choose the good guys...

I have to think that this is good news with no Texas schools in there.

But both Oklahoma and Nebraska are closer than we are.

Fingers crossed on this one.  I think we really need this kid.

Ive liked Filiaga all along over Wilson despite their rankings because I can see Filiaga on the two deep as a freshmen and Wilson will need a couple years before hes ready. We already have two real good developmental tackles in the class with Stueber and Honigford both of which I think will be great players as upperclassmen. And dont sleep on JaRaymond Hall.

On one hand, he seems like a great kid and a great fit into the program.  Michigan would be lucky to get him on the team (and if academics matter, this competition is not very close at all).

On the other hand, his surname sounds like a fancy restaurant from which I cannot secure a reservation.  "EM, did you get us that reservation to Filiaga for Valentine's Day?"

Ive driven through both states on multiple occasions and have never seen a reason to stop besides gas and toilets. Oklahoma in particular is an ugly state. At least Nebraska has the Platte river with the Sand Hills and Ogalala which has a very fun drinking establishment and is fun to say.
