BEANS AND FRANKS!

Jeez, I am shocked he beat out Zaire. But Mailk it, Mailk it a lot...

EDIT: Who wants to bet that Zaire quits the team, or waits a few more games to see if things change, then quits?

I wouldn't describe their O-line as suspect. Even with Ivey only at 80%, I think they'll be better than average. I think their fan base actually feels pretty confident about their starters, if not their depth.

I still think our D-Line will do well. But I'm not expecting a complete engulfing.

They were good at pass pro and awful at run blocking. Franks might not get vaporized but he's not going to get much help. He'll get stuck with a lot of 3rd and long situations which, well, maybe he does get vaporized after all.

I was going to post, seeing the same Feldman Tweet but then thought ....who the fuck is Feleipe Franks?!

Mr Franks, meet Mr Gary ...you will be getting to know him very well this afternoon.

What a nut-punch for Zaire. They get a rule changed just so you can transfer and walk into the starting QB position, only to lose it to a RS Fr making his first college start. Ouch

I bet they all play 3...

I bet they'll role Zaire out there on a gadget play or to play as a Wildcat QB.

I bet they'll play Del Rio when Franks is getting his shit kicked in.

So just yesterday made a lunch bet with a Gator that I work with on Saturday's game.  I wonder if today's two developments make him feel better or worse?

I'm still plenty nervous about Florida's defense, but dang - their offensive two-deep is more like a too-shallow!

He is a big dude and currently their future at QB.  I just wasn't sure if McElwain was going to throw him into the fire this early.  I am guessing he didn't get what he wanted out of Zaire and Del Rio and had no choice but to give Franks the nod.
