drunk/drinking thread

Submitted by UM Fan from Sydney on

Sorry, west coast and mountain time folks, but it's time for booze here in the Big Apple. Don't worry, your time is coming. I mentioned this in the POSBANG thread, but it's now less than fifty-seven days until Michigan football is back.

I am drinking Founders Centennial IPA.

Cheers, mates.

wait all year for summer to come, and here it is July 7th and I am ready for Octoberfest, the cider mill and Michigan football. Staring at a lawn I desperately don't want to mow right now.

Move to Florida where no one mows their own lawn. Time for some Jai Alai IPA from the keezer and sit back and watch the lawn crew mow my lawn.

But at least for the next 57 days, Michigan football is still undefeated on the season.  I'm enjoying every day of that.

If you're drinking that for gluten reasons have you given time to the Short's beers that they remove the gluten for? I don't know if you can drink those are not. Space Rock seemed indistinguishable from it's predecessor.

I haven't seen Short's anywhere up here in MN, and the last two places I've been two have been out of Stone Delicious IPA. So it was either this or Glutenberg (which tastes worse to me, though not undrinkable). I'm not sure that I need gluten-free beer, but I'm trying to eliminate potential causes of occasional stomach pain.

Oh yeah, now that Short's is distributing outside of the state I don't actually know their distro map. If it ever gets to you give it a shot. If you get Epic over there, I used to think their gluten free beer, the Glutenator, was pretty solid but that was before gluten free really started becoming even a blip on the beer radar.

Currently sitting in New Brunswick, CA and picked up an assortment of singles. Started with Molson, because Canada, and then going to try Maritime Pale Ale by Grimross, Maybee's Workhorse IPA, Northampton's Feels Good Imperial Pilsner, and Picaroon's imperial IPA

Last couple weeks have been some of the most stressful of my life so I'm resisting the temptation to self medicate. But just in case does anyone know how to get a hold of Mad Hatter?

Having a Bells Quinannan Falls and am patiently waiting for the Mrs and kid to do some shopping so I can play some Zelda on my original Nintendo.

Now that I've done my Friday evening ritual of looking over the drinking thread responses, I will pour myself some Noahs Mill bourbon.  Happy Friday everyone cheers!

Haybag Hefeweizen from Philipsburg Brewing Co in Montana. Nice and refreshing on this 96 degree day. Will drink some Kirin Ichiban and sake with my sushi later this evening.

Had a couple redbud's from Independece (Austin brewery)... but now enjoying some makers mark on the rocks. Though I really wish I were enjoying the Puerto Rican 9 years my junior I've been seeing... cheers to mid life crisis!
