Cole to start 51st straight game, tying record (104 including HS)

With Monday’s game, Mason Cole will have started 51 straight games. That ties a Michigan record held by former defensive end Craig Roh. It will be a Michigan record for an offensive lineman, beating former Michigan offensive tackle Jon Jansen’s record of 50 straight starts. Including his 53 straight starts in high school, Cole will have started 104 straight football games. That is an incredible mark, particularly for an offensive linemen where fluke injuries can happen when 300 pound bodies are falling at their knees and ankles all the time. From everything I have seen, he is a wonderful teammate and leader on and off the field. He changed positions back and forth to help The Team. He never complained. He just does his job and does it well. A true Michigan man. He will be missed. http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2017/12/michigan_ol_mason_col…

Never heard a negative thing about the man in the four years here.
Good luck in your future endeavors!
And here’s to one more singing in celebration, the greatest fight song in the land!!

Two things about that gif.

Where the hell was that type of fight this year?  First half of a night game and the team makes no use of the crowd and atmosphere ( people begged for a night game game and the team looks like crap).

I still can't believe he needlessly grabbed that Ohio State defender's facemask on that screen pass to Deveon Smith.  About to go up 17 and it killed momentum.  We made a few plays after that, but that was the window there to win, and Michigan didn't use it.

Who would have thought that he would end up as the best player from high school trio in 2014 (him, George Campbell & Artavis Scott) ?

Mason, you'll be missed!

Will the senior game that coke is playing in count? He’ll be wearing his MI helmet. I know he may not start, but assuming he does would that go toward the record?
