Gotta love Coach Brown. Not only is he obviously a coaching guru but he seems to love the game and his players and attacks even interviews with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. So easy to get pumped listening to Don Brown.

Fantastic interview. I agree it's obvious Don Brown loves coaching, and loves his boys on D. I wish all coaches interviewed like this.

That would be sweet. So far it seems like the coaches have a high hit rate on the highly rated recruits. Landing some diamonds in the rough, like Woods and Higdon and others, would be a huge boost for the future of this team.

Greg Mattison has to be one of the best coaches on the planet. Went from DC to DL to one-game-DC to DL without complaint or any dropoff in production. His DCing of the Florida game was nigh brilliant

According to the fascinating Hail to Old Blue, some guy named Glenn “Bo” Schembechler was making just $60,000 as head coach of Michigan as of 1980. Wow.
